I'm horrified by the quality of the work and the blatant rudeness of the employees at this place. My parents were a customer here for decades, when their elders owned it. Now the kids work the front, and they are absolutely rude as hell. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and returned after years of quitting them, but nothing has changed. I picked up two blouses, and they clearly had not been ironed. They didn't bother to even button up one of the blouses. When I pointed this out to the young man working the front, he completely tried to make me feel like I'm stupid and said "There's nothing wrong. They look fine. That's just how the shirts are." BULLSHIT. Never an apology, never an offer to run them through the iron quickly once more, never an effort to even try to see what I was seeing. Very clean and fast, but they could use some work with their customer service. They seem to not care when you walk in the door, I stood there in the front literally for 10 minutes with the two workers just talking to each other and the guy would look up every so often at me and then continue to talk to his coworker. They also don't call you when your clothes are ready to be picked up, what's the point of giving you my phone number then? Other than that they do a good job in terms of cleaning your clothes. We brought a dress here and a peacoat to get dry cleaned after a crazy night at a wedding. The peacoat had vomit on it & smelled really bad and there was melted chocolate inside the pockets, but Dragon cleaners did an AMAZING job! They completely got rid of the vomit and smell for a really good price. My dress was dirty as well and I'm pretty sure was all sweaty from that night so I brought it here. What you need to know - Family owned and run, so kind and nice, hard working people that treat the customers right! Great quick alteration work done at such a fair price. Tailoring/Alterations: Grade C Dry Cleaning: Grade A Okay, time for me to post the Truth, the whole Truth and nothing but the Truth. Usually I've gotten great service at ultra-good prices for SIMPLE alterations and dry cleaning but sentiment aside (yes the girls are nice), it's good to be real about the inconsistent level of alteration work. Some days it's fine; other days it's like climate change....like, "what the heck happened?" For instance, simple hemming jobs on summer dresses are okay. Anything else like repositioning belt loops and you can be very unhappy! Caveat Emptor: If you're looking for a bargain and decide to pay for cheap alterations, the simple truth is that you might end up getting terrible looking, unfinished belt buckle loops with frayed ends showing and threads all balled up instead of nice, straight and flat seams. And how hard is it to do? Not. I've done it myself but was reassured that the mom could and would do a good job. Wrong. My bad. That's what's happened to my expensive and once classy-looking raincoats. So consumer beware! Choose wisely and don't make silly assumptions about how simple a job might be and live to regret the end result. The dry cleaning, however, is good and highly recommended. read more

I was looking for a good alterations place that didn't charge an arm and a leg for their services. After reading the reviews I thought I would give them a try. They do AMAZING work. What I got done: - I got a custom Thai Silk wedding style dress made from Thailand and it didn't fit right and needed to get it taken out at the top. The dress was very detailed with scrunches at the top and they did a perfect job. I went there once to get measured, one more time to try on to make sure it fit and did some more minor alterations. They steamed the dress when I picked it up and everything cost only $38 - Fixed a zipper $8 - Got a men's shirt taken out at the armpit and drycleaned $25 - Got a bridesmaid dress taken in, hemmed, steamed $20 - Regular hems are $3-4 And they turned everything around in 5 days. Probably would've been quicker but I had to go back and try my dress on a couple times. AMAZING! I live in Irvine and will definitely come back again. Good quality work for a great price! I get all my pants hem here for $3-5. I also get my dresses and jackets dry cleaned from $2-8. I've had a few so-so experience with the quality of the hem but never with the dry cleaning. Yes, the alteration lady has no filter. She's given me attitude for not bringing the shoes I want to wear with my clothes so they know where to hem to, but I just tell her how long I want it and she'll say ok. Just listen to what shes jamming to and you'll know her generation isn't about customer service. The younger people working there are quite nice. Never have had a problem with them.
