Just based on the chong qing noodles, this isn't really authentic Chinese food. The flavor wasn't bad, but it just wasn't legit. It was pretty salty and oily, and it just felt like a soup with a bunch of random stuff in it. No big chunks of meat or anything, and the noodle texture wasn't like hand-pulled noodles. Service was good, though, and the space was large and interesting. It's open pretty late, so it's a good enough spot to eat at if it's late at night and you need a legit meal.

The food is so good and the servings are huge. The server was kind and service was pretty quick. We sat outside and it was a cute little vibe

This is a hole in the wall restaurant. The parking is there but not good. Looks like it is mainly for college students walking or scooter to get there. The restaurant has all sorts of decorations for photos. It's interesting for the kids. I ordered a pineapple chicken with rice. It tasted good. The lamb noodle was too salty and the 2 pieces of meat with bone are really fatty. What sucks is the service related things... the waitress is not attentive at all ( I have really low standards going to Hkese restaurants). The table is sticky. The restroom clogs.

If you are craving a lamb or beef skewer check this place out! It's my go to! Not usually too busy when I go, great service, a sorta hole in the wall. I swear that lamb skewer!!! Try it and come back to my post!

Dragon Flame is definitely a feast for the eyes. Everywhere you look there's something to see - - more than one Chinese dragon, stuffed food pillows, lights projected onto the fan, anime characters on the wall, and more. There is a greenery lined patio with seating and its own dragon, a bar with seating, (I'm not sure if they serve any alcohol, but there is an ice cream machine) and a dining room lined with banquette seating, and a regular table. There's some clutter in the corners and behind the bar, and two little pet bowls on the floor - - when we've been here before the owner has come with his two little shih tzu dogs who are allowed to hang out in the dining room. It's is a unique and fun atmosphere. They have menus that look like doors to a Chinese Palace, but it really is just to show you what the most popular dishes are. To see the full menu you scan the QR code, then order on your phone. The order automatically goes to the kitchen and someone will bring you your food. If you like cumin, this is your place! Each time we've come I've noticed there is a lot of cumin. My son really likes it. I wasn't very hungry, so this time we shared one order of cumin chicken, one order of beef skewers, and one egg roll which we cut in half. These are shareable size portions, so we had a lot left to take home after two of us ate. We didn't have dessert, but I do know that people come here specifically for that. They have ice cream that looks like real fried chicken legs, and little molded milk cakes that look like bears and other animals. The parking here is a nightmare. There is a very small parking lot in front, and a small parking lot in back, but some of the spaces and back are designated for the other businesses in this time strip. There's really no other parking because the street is off limits and it is surrounded by apartment buildings. We have actually had to leave and eat someplace else before because of the parking situation. Also, with the dog bowls on the floor, I would presume that, like we saw when we were there last time, little dogs come through and hang out in the restaurant. It doesn't bother me so much, but I think my husband's head would explode if there were dogs roaming free inside a restaurant dining room he was eating at. If this bothers you you, this may not be the place for you.

Chaotic in the absolute best way! Decor was Alice in Asian wonderland, how to order took a minute to understand, and I'm still not sure if they serve wine (I do know they serve beer!) But even writing this review a few days later, I'm contemplating going there again...maybe tonight...maybe right now The food was top tier delicious and large enough to share! Between the 4 of us we got 2 entrees and a bowl of the dumplings AND had some leftovers (which are absolutely fab the next day.) I'll be back for the desserts which I can't wait to try!! Parking is around back so don't get discouraged if you pull up! But also worth a short walk if you have to!

Cool concept and decorations inside! Food took a little bit but I didn't mind too much. Service was good ! Different flavors than what I'm used to personally but overall not too bad. Would come back to try the desserts.

Everything came out quickly ordered through the QR code. With the location being near tempe, the food caters to the asian palette and college students late night meals. They are open till 2 am. The food was ok. the lamb skewers were good and the hot pot was filling. I wasn't a fan of the popcorn chicken in my hot pot. The soggy breading was a turn off. For $39.99 I felt it was over priced. Although I was so excited to try their fried chicken looking ice cream. When it came out I realized it never thawed out after biting into it. It was so hard I could've cracked a tooth. The outdoor ambience gave me a feeling like I was eating out at a night market. The service was subpar knowing there was only one waitress. This place is a one place hitter in my books but for being open so late.. I bet u for those late night munchies this place would attract them all. The desserts are one of a kind, so for those viral types of desserts customers may be reluctant to experience the unique ice cream creations.

One night it was kinda late, and we looked for places and called them to see if they were open till 2. They said they were and last order was about 1 am. Had one of my friend go in a little earlier and placed the order. We had all the food by the time the rest of us reached. The owner was really nice, he came and had a nice conversation with us , the food was great. Really loved the lamb noodles and skewers, the meat was really tender and a perfect blend of the meat and fat. Flavors and spice was well balanced. The portions for the food in general were large, and were very priced. We also didn't know but you can bring your own alcohol. I think it's a really nice place for a late night meal.

This is a legit hole in the wall kinda spot. Met up with some friends here and sat outside. The dumplings were my absolute favorite. Such a great flavor, definitely top tier. The seafood dumplings were good. Really excellent food and large portions. A good dive spot to hit up.

Didn't get a chance to eat the food because we had already eaten. We came here specifically for the animal shaped ice cream. They were so cute! The flavors were limited to coconut, but I love a good coconut dessert. They were less ice cream and more of a creamy jello like consistency though. I don't discriminate against desserts, so I was ok with it. They even came in nicely packaged boxes with bows. We brought one home for my daughter and when she had forgotten about it days later, I got to indulge once again. Ya snooze, ya lose. Can't wait to go back and try the food. It all looks amazing.

The menu was v packed with so many options!! Small intimate place. I tried the canned tea and it was too sweet for me. Maybe because I thought it would be unsweetened and wouldn't have to shake.. Food was good would be worth checking out with bigger party to share food. Very filling. I would possibly return during the colder months

I was slightly underwhelmed when we visited this place. The service was not really there because we had to order off of a QR code and that's how they processed the order. We were given bottled water but that was it. We were not really asked how the food was or if we needed anything. The food was good except for the lamp noodle soup- it didn't have flavor in the broth it was bland- but the rice was good! Good flavor and lots of meat in the rice dish. The best part were the desserts! I got a dog cake for my birthday and the dragons breath which was pretty fun to breath the smoke out. Overall, it was an okay place. Would I return? Maybe for the desserts.

Previously, I had walked by and saw lots of people inside and nice advertisements for hand, pulled, or knife cut noodles. When I visited, the restaurant was partially full, but by the time I left, it was packed with a wait at the door. The staff was very friendly and kind. The outside and inside decor shows that this is a no-frills restaurant, but it makes up for it with amazing food. I ordered the mapo tofu, the pepper, beef noodle soup, and the tofu noodles. The pepper beef soup had a nice bite to it, but was a different kind of hot spice then other heat brought by oils or chili peppers. The broth was flavored well and the soup had a great balance of meat and vegetables. The noodles were wonderfully chewy and tender. It was a bit challenging to eat them at first since they were very long but once they were cut, things went much quicker. The noodles and tofu had a wonderful sauce on them, and the noodles could have been eaten by themselves alone. I appreciated the fried tofu and plentiful vegetables, which aren't always in some dishes. The Mapo tofu had a side of rice and was pleasantly seasoned. It wasn't too spicy, but had a nice depth to it. I also had an order of Xiao long bao and barbecue pork bow buns. These were great, but we're so overshadowed by the rest of the food that they took a back seat. However, they are excellent even if a person orders just these. I had leftovers and this place has the most amazing containers and to go bags whether it is for a local delivery or dine in and takeout. So cool! When I reheated the leftovers the next day, the flavors had had a chance to meld and deepen and the food was next level. I almost want to order again just to be able to eat everything the next day. This is my new favorite spot and I am only kicking myself for not coming here earlier.

This does make it a little easier to take any leftovers to go because you can grab a lid later. The inside is very clean. You likely won't see too many other guests eating in as most get takeout. Service is frank and prompt. Ever since some of our favorite long time local hand pulled noodle places closed over the years, my partner and I have been on the search for any kind of replacement. Unfortunately, Kung Fu Noodles does not live up to that for us. You have to approach this restaurant with takeout in mind. Portion sizing is pretty generous. The food itself is very okay. Either way, The food we received was the bomb.com! We were hanging out and watching movies on a Saturday while my lady was nursing a bit of a cold. She wanted something in the chicken noodle soup family, and after a bit of back-and-forth, we decided to look for Ramen or pho. Now that's where the start started, but that's clearly not where it ended. After a couple of different searches, we found kung fu noodle And simply picked it based on a combination of the pictures, the reviews and the fact that they have several noodle soup options that looked really appealing. Ultimately, we ended up ordering the spicy beef noodle soup, and the house special noodle soup along with their dumplings, crab Rangoon's and fried rice. Now, usually I skip straight to the review of the food at this point, but I have to give them one additional compliment. This place goes the extra mile in terms of making sure the delivery experience is Extra level. Starting with their packaging, which, for someone who is infatuated with great design, they really do a great job of driving home the full brand experience! Not only were the package is aesthetically, pleasing and artistic in some cases, but they were also very functional as well with all of the plastic containers having sealed lids that had to be broken open for the first time by us. This was just extra assurance that our food wasn't tampered with on the ride from the restaurant to the house. In addition, the food was extremely fresh and hot, even the crab Rangoon's, which in some cases can be delivered with that wet, gummy effect because of the steam and condensation that accumulates inside of many of the take-home containers that you receive from most Asian food places. I wouldn't argue that this is the kind of containers that you would necessarily keep around as home Tupperware, but the bag that they sent everything in definitely feels like it's gotta reuse or two in it. Overall, we were really happy with the quality of the food as both Soups were portion wise enough for two consecutive days of meals. Same thing with the fried rice, which was really good We got the shrimp version and it had plenty of shrimp and veggies in addition to really fresh rice. Lastly, while I'm not specifically a dumpling guy, I decided to try these because the pictures looked really good on the website. And I can't lie, these were definitely really Good dumplings. Overall, we are looking forward to trying to spot out in person, but if we have to order again before we make it in person, that's what it is going to be!
