Oh man.. First Yelp review in over a year.. Can I still be of help? Do my words still matter? Does anybody even read this stuff?! There's only one way to find out; gotta start writing again.. Here goes nothing.. Living around the San Gabriel Valley in Southern California has afforded my the pleasures of experiencing some of the best Asian food out there so when I visited the central valley and picked up some take-out from this place I wasn't expecting much.. For a no-name spot in the country, I was pleasantly surprised! We didn't eat in the restaurant so I'm not going to comment on it's interior and ambiance.. However, the food we took back to Nana & Papa's house was definitely delicious! The family shared a number of dishes, all of which were good but the one that stood out to me the most was the beef & broccoli.. I'm a sucker for simple dishes, so it made me happy when the beef came out juicy and tender with a sauce that wasn't overbearing.. I'll keep it short and simple.. That's all folks! read more

Gross food. Bland, poor quality meats, not very clean and very much was bothered by being served water with no ice despite having asked.

One of the few places in teh central valley I crave ever since moving to L.A. I always make a point to eat here when I visit, whether it's takeout by myself or to catch up with friends over dinner. This was always a favorite of ours, we'd go after school, for dinner over the weekend, etc. I always order the dinner letter K, which is sweet and sour chicken. SO good. Their chow mein is probably the best I've ever eaten, and the egg rolls and BBQ pork are delicious, too. The prices are decent (considering HUGE portions) and the atmosphere is cute- a quaint, authentic little Chinese restaurant. :) read more

SO when im up in Dinuba getting my grown man (well technically woman) on I like to take a minute during lunch hour to come here. This Chinese restaurant is not fancy but it is tasty. This place gets super packed during their lunch hour. All the food is priced fair and you get soo much food you pretty much know you have lunch and dinner covered when you eat here. Dinuba is not known for its culinary prowess but if you ever find yourself in this city, god forbid, you definitely should stop and eat here... P.S. their wor won ton soup is the bomb!!! read more

As a kid I remember my family coming here every sunday for lunch or dinner, the staff was great. And even now as an adult I LOVE this place! Been here twice now since coming to Dinuba and I will keep going back! I've tried the combination plate as well as the hot and sour soup and pork egg foo young. I've eaten and enjoyed lots Asia food. I just had the 2nd worst experience I've ever had, eating out. The 1st was at this same establishment 15 years ago when not only was the food and service disappointing, they didn't even have or serve steamed rice! This time, they had the rice but the non asian waitress was sloppy and cluless, the sweet and sour pork was pieces of some kind of dry meat, deep fried in some kind of hard batter; the chow mein noodles were part dry and hard, part slimy and soft. I could go on but In a word, Yuck! Never again! I wish I didn't have to give any star. read more

It's safe to say that Dragon Garden is one of my favorite Chinese Restaurants in the area (see also: Shanghai Restaurant in Visalia and Sun Hong Kong in Kingsburg). Originally from the Inner Sunset in San Francisco, I can really appreciate a well made pot sticker and yummy broth. And I have to say, I never had abalone prior to my first dining experience at Dragon Garden. Now I am hooked! The Wor Won Ton Soup, along with other meats, contains large chunks and generous portions of abalone and veggies. It is just killer! The Hot and Sour Soup is flavorful and has a great spice to it but isn't overwhelming. FYI - I only eat here for lunch and I call in my order for pick up about 20 minutes prior to my pick up time as they do get busy. Lunch time during the school year can be hectic because the high school is open campus for lunch. read more

Best Chinese in town. Hands down. Huge portions so you know you'll get full. The food is amazing. Been eating here for years and never had issues. The restaurant is a bit on the small side, but there's a side room if you come with a big group. My favorite is the lemon chicken. Huge variety so there's something for everyone. read more

It is not what it use to be since it was sold. Had it on 4/7/2020 and the food was bland. They used some fake dark meat chicken substitute for my meal. Also, the young lady answering the phone was way too loud and talking to me and a another customer at the same time, it was confusing to the point I had to tell her "I'm not done ordering" because she kept stating "is that all bye bye bye!". This has always been my childhood favorite Chinese food restaurant and will always be my favorite restaurant. They give you huge portions for everything you order. My all time favorite at this place is the chicken broccoli with soft noodles. It usually comes with hard man for noodles which are fine, but soft noodles are so much better! read more

Service was great. The staff were quick and nice to seat you, take your orders, and deliver food. The food however, was not great. We had the Cantonese dinner for 2 which comes with special pork chow mein 1/5, pork fried rice 1/5, fried shrimp 2/5, fried chicken wings 2/5, BBQ pork 1/5, and the egg soup 4/5. All the fried food's batter was too thick, the chow mein was sticky and hard to chew, the fried rice was bland, the BBQ pork was burnt and hard to chew. Egg soup was probably the best dish.
