I was there awhile as I had to sign up for university courses that day and once I got peckish, but not hungry enough for a meal, I asked if it was too late to order a brownie. They were starting to wind down at that point and had every right to refuse but not only did they let me order-- they were also exceptionally polite and friendly while I did so. They were accommodating and lovely to their other customers too. I struck up a conversation with the owner and said the cafe was much better than any I'd been to in Canada; she seemed very pleased and said she would have to tell that to her Canadian friend. The brownie was so rich I couldn't finish it. This is in no way a fault of theirs-- I just filled up quicker than I thought I would! They offered cream too which I accepted, and it went very well with the warm brownie. tl;dr Personable and fast service, nice tea and great desserts, absolutely stellar decor. On the Crescent. Decided to check it out and was not disappointed. Incredibly delicious, authentic Thai food. Highly recommended. I ordered the beef salad and duck curry- both were great! Laura was very sweet and helpful. Wonderful service, tasty food. Will come again if I am in the area!
