    Kung Pao Tofu
    Steve A.

A typical looking Chinese restaurant is in a strip mall with not that bad food. Dragon Inn probably is the best Chinese restaurant in Minooka. It doesn't have much else, so it has to be this. Food is Americanized but it's better than a lot of places like it. The prices are kind of high on the bigger portions. Came for dine in. It only has a few tables and it's a pretty bare place. This is a reason why most people get takeout. A few other customers were eating inside on this occasion. We got some of the typical favorites and while these aren't great, they're still pretty good tasting. At the time they were serving the dinner menu. The portions are bigger and the prices are higher, causing us to cheap out and share. It has a few vegetarian friendly items. We got the Kung Pao Tofu. It's about $13 for the dinner portion. This has a lot of spicy flavor, thanks to the dried chili peppers it's cooked with. I would have liked it more with the crispy tofu that typically is in this item. The flavor was still good and spicy. Go at lunch. It's cheaper even though you get smaller portions. They put fried rice made with pork in the lunch specials so if getting it vegetarian it means you have to ask for the regular rice though.

Ripped off fingernail. Pretty disgusting when I hope it's a fingernails & not a toenail

Very good. I had the egg rolls and Kung Pao Chicken. It was hot and fresh. I ordered the Kung Pao extra spicy and it had some kick.

Good Food. Bad Service. Delivery takes 1-2 hrs to get. You call them up, and they have no clue what's going on. Unacceptable.

But that is what makes it taste so good. As for the other reviews about the restaurant itself, it Channahon people. You aren't going to find four star dining anywhere. It's your typical take out Chinese place. The staff is nice. They even have teenagers working there to answer the phones and do delivery. Sometimes it can be hard to understand accents over the phone and this eliminates the issue. In conclusion I love this place and it is sorely missed now that I have moved away!

It will be 1 hour until it arrives. 2) the first time I ordered from this place, the male business owner told me that the combination fried rice only comes with 2 of the proteins, not all 3. So I ordered as such. Every time (at least 3 more times) since then, it has come with everything as advertised on the menu. He was just trying to make an extra dollar by cheating me that time, as he probably thought I'm not a returning customer. 3) Szechuan does not mean Szechuan at this place. Anything called "Szechuan" anything has ZERO Szechuan pepper in it. It's a marketing ploy or something. They think Americans will not know. It's not authentic whatsoever.

I've eaten at many Thai restaurants in the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Food is usually too sweet or salty, proteins are overcooked, or give sparingly. I've come to just accept it lol. This place was the best I've seen for years! Padwoonsen - Beef was moist and perfectly seasoned not too sweet or salty. Veggies plentiful. Noodles dry (not soggy) just like it's supposed to be! Papaya salad- large portion. A little on sweet side but I asked for little spicy so probably catering to American taste which tends to be sweeter. Rice soup - got a small. rice soaked most of soup by the time it got to me. take out container was not great (styrofoam) but flavor still good. On top of that I have gluten and msg sensitivity and didn't have any issues after eating it. My go- to Thai restaurant for now on!

Our waitress greeted us and took our beverage order. Our starters were 4 Piece Crab Rangoon and 5 Piece Pot Sticker. The Crab Rangoon was super crunchy and surprisingly meaty. I loved them. The Pot Stickers were lacking in flavor. The sauces were also pretty much flavorless. For entre, I ordered Combo Woon-Sen Pad Thai, a combo with shrimp, beef, and chicken, and noodles. V ordered something very similar, with the same proteins, but with rice. Both dishes were fresh and tasty. The waitress was prompt and courteous. The restaurant was comfortable, if not high-end.
