The best reason to go there, though, is for the Hallowe'en and especially Christmas decorations - they sell a huge variety of figurines, lights, trees and ornaments, all of which are at a very good price. The staff on the shop floor are very helpful, but for some reason most (but not all) of the people on the checkout tills are pretty sour-faced and miserable-looking types, but this doesn't matter to me as it's more about my experience on the shop floor than when I pay. This is a great place to come to because they're open later than most shops, and it's a cheap way to decorate or even furnish your home.

The cafe is surprisingly nice considering they'd earn a fortune from the coach parties regardless of their quality. Their cream cakes are wonderful and completely fresh - I particularly recommend the eclairs and millionnaire's shortbread. I believe they're all cooked on site and they have a wonderful pastry chef. This is definitely a place worth stopping off for a cream tea so long as you don't mind the crowds in the height of summer. The car park is free and is the only one around for miles, so it's also a good base to explore the pretty village of Godshill.

The store itself has a huge range of toys, but it is quite crowded and can be difficult to find what you're looking for if you go in for something specific. And it can be worth checking prices elsewhere as, although they do have some good deals, some of the prices seem expensive compared to other places. However, it is a good place for browsing for ideas and to see what's new in the world of toys and games.

I like the way it is laid out with the children's department on the ground floor with the womans wear. The home department could do with being a bit bigger as it seems very small for the size of the store. It is very clean and is spacious. The staff always seem to be working very hard to keep the cutomers happy and they are always very friendly and helpful.
