In my message, I explained that my aunt had been placed on life support and that I would not be able to make it to my appointment. Despite providing more than 24 hours' notice and explaining the emergency, I was still charged for the service. What made the situation even more frustrating is that it's extremely difficult to reach anyone directly by phone, as calls typically go to voicemail and you have to wait for a callback. I understand businesses have cancellation policies, but charging someone who attempted to cancel in advance during a serious family emergency felt very disappointing. Dealing with an unexpected charge while also coping with a loved in a hard place added unnecessary stress during an already difficult time.

Saturday. June 7, 2025. Around noon…read more I had an appointment at the Enchanted Hills Walgreens for a Tetanus-Diphtheria shot for 9:50 am. When I arrived the tech told me that they were out of this vaccine. I asked why it let me book an appointment if it was out of stock. She told me the appointment database doesn't link to what they have in stock. I think this is ridiculous because people could be wasting time, gas and energy booking appointments for non-existent shots! The tech called the Walgreens in Bernalillo and was told they had the TDAP in stock. I drove there and spoke to Eileen, a pharmacy tech. She explained they weren't doing walk-ins, but they usually do. I asked if they had any openings. She said I would have to check online. I told her my phone wasn't working and if she could book an appointment for me. She said no. I was the only one in line and they weren't busy. She was extremely rude and short with me. She told me to stand aside as another customer had walked behind me. I talked to the manager and assistant manager about Eileen. They told me that there was no pharmacist on duty and that they didn't have the vaccine in stock. So either the tech at Enchanted Hills lied to me or the tech they talked to on the phone lied. The manager even called the Walgreens on 528 and Southern and they were out of this vaccine. To sum up, it seems like all Walgreens do not regularly update their stock of vaccines, the staff are rude and will lie to you, and you will probably waste your time and gas scheduling appointments for non-existent vaccines. A horrible, horrible joke.
