All dresses are designed and handmade by Moira herself - and you'll find a huge range of wedding dresses, prom dresses, and other special occasion wear. As well as the large range of on-the-peg dresses that you'll find in their King's Court shop - Moira Withers also does custom dress design and fittings. If you want to get an idea of the kind of designs that you'll find at Glitterati - their website has a great selection of photos. Their Kings Court shop is huge - and I can pretty much guarantee you that you won't run out of dresses to try on! There's plenty of space for browsing, as well as giving the gowns a spin, and you'll find the quality of the service itself very hard to beat. As if all this wasn't good enough - you'll also find a large carpark right opposite the shop, so it couldn't be anymore convinient to get to!

I came across Glitterati in a bridal magazine article about bespoke wedding dresses so I thought I would investigate to see if (a) they could do my wedding dress and (b) how much it would cost. Moira Withers was a delight to work with and she interpreted my ideas perfectly. I was even more pleasantly surprised about its cost as it wasnt as expensive as the bridal shops nor did I have to pay for expensive alterations as the dress was made to fit me perfectly. Moira knows her fabrics and sewing methods so I felt very relaxed that I knew my dress would be perfect, within budget and on time! I loved my dress. Would recommend anyone to visit Glitterati and get a bespoke wedding dress or evening gown - at least there'll be no other like it!

I am not somebody who normally comments on service but the extremely rude manner in which myself (the bride), my mother and bridesmaid were treated has given ample motivation. I had booked our appointment at Dragonfly Dress Designs three weeks in advance. We arrived 10 minutes early and, despite the fact there was nobody else in the store, we were told unsympathetically to wait outside. It was raining and as the shop is not located near any coffee shops etc. we had no option but to wait outside. Lisa's manner made me feel like my presence was causing her an inconvenience, a feeling that I think no bride should feel on her "special day". So insulted and put off was I by the service that even though I found a dress I loved I decided not to purchase it. It is a shame because Lisa does have nice dresses but due to the service I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

From party frocks to ball gowns, they have a great selection of dresses for everything from your school prom, university ball, fancy nights out, cocktail parties, and wedding receptions. Prices range from about £50 for on-sale items, averaging at around £130 and peaking at £250 or so. All of their dresses are well-made and tailored, in a whole range of fabrics. They also have a dedicated collection of little red dresses and little black dresses if you're looking for something sleek and classic to add to your capsule wardrobe. They don't have a great deal of accessories, but they do stock some scarves, bags, and jewellery. Lovely stuff.

It's well laid out and for such an expensive looking store it's surprisingly laid back - and affordable in parts! I was entranced by a gold butterfly necklace in the window and my eyes almost popped out my head when I saw it was only 28 pounds! So obviously I had to go in to investigate what other bargains were in store. They have a wide range of jewellery covering all ends of the price spectrum. Most of their bridal range will be expensive, but is of a great quality and staff are more than eager to help you out on your quest for the perfect tiara. They seem to specialise in such accessories with some fascinators and veils being of exotic origin. They seem to work hard at promoting designers from all countries, making some of the stock more unusual than in your average bridal store. I'm a big fan of their Spinning Rings collection which is also being promoted on their website. They are a concept deriving from Denmark and their technique of locking together certain trinkets and turning it into a ring makes for perfect customized jewellery. Mica may from the outside seem to specialise in weddings but the girls work hard to cater for all areas, making this jewellery shop a great shopping experience!
