She asked if I had been in before and when I said no she welcomed me,asked where I was from and brought a sign to the table that said, say hi to our first timers. The only reason for three stars instead of five is the fact that this place was expensive for a diner and very loud. I think they charged extra for everything they could. The price for their haddock wasn't bad but most of the items on the menu seemed overpriced even for today's economy. We were seated quickly and a waitress arrived soon after. Unfortunately, she was new so after we asked her two questions another waitress took over. I felt bad that she had to go and ask someone for answers but I also felt bad that she was replaced as how is she supposed to learn if she can't ask someone? We didn't mind waiting while she asked and the restaurant was not that busy. The food we had (haddock) was cooked well and we enjoyed our meals. This is a very loud place, though, so be prepared for yelling to each other and sore throats later. Lol. I'm not sure if it's always like that but the music was blasting and everyone trying to shout over that made for a very loud atmosphere. So I took one star away for the price and the second for the noise. I don't think we will plan on returning but I'd stop here if I was hungry and passing by. read more

Was in the area on a little weekend getaway, went to Yelp - searched on Breakfast with Booze and off we went. The place is cute, old school dinery, with that authentic 50s Diner feel. Are seated right away, get some drinks - everything was wrong, we ordered drinks - were brought different drinks, to say the least our waitress was ALL OVER THE PLACE, she had to come back to confirm EVERY thing we ordered, and I liked her - TONS of personality, just maybe could have focused more, we got extra food we didnt order, drinks we didnt order, again, all her fault and I felt bad wasting the food/drink because it was truly things we didnt order - but she was constantly like here, "Keep It"... Which Im sure in the long run isnt the best business practice. Food was decent, and again I liked her - but the constant mistakes started to get old really fast, despite her fun demeanor. Kids loved the old school bottled soda, and they loved their food. Will come back if in the area and hope for a better time. read more

Went for the first time today. Food was hot, fast, and fresh. Blueberry pancake was AMAZING. My husband got some eggs Benny with hash and pastrami, he cleaned his plate. I came here for the first time yesterday and would highly recommend. I had the Shaved Steak breakfast burrito and coffee with Irish cream, and both were perfect. Staff were very friendly and welcoming right when you walk in the door. I also really liked the 50's Diner feel, it was very nostalgic. We went to the Dream Diner for the first time and was treated like royalty! We we're greeted by Bridgete our wonderful server who was so friendly and fun! We've been here twice. First time wasn't great but since they were remodeling, we thought we'd give it a try once everything was renewed. The restaurant itself looks awesome now still keeping the oldies diner vibes with the bold red booths and classics black and white checkered floors. And the food? Trio Eggs Benedict- We're not sure if the ingredients from our dishes were made from scratch because they were all very questionable. The hollandaise sauce color looked way to bold and tasted pasty, the ham was tough, spinach was not fresh at all, and the sausage was just those frozen patties. The home fries had no flavor what-so-ever. Country Bene- Underwhelming gravy with chopped up frozen sausage on top. The biscuit was good though. Cinnamon Roll French Toast- Probably the only thing we like here. It's sweet and satisfying. Overall Service: It's a popular spot for breakfast in the area. We probably had to wait 25 mins to be seated. Service was wonderful, atmosphere was upbeat but I don't think we'll be back for the food. read more

Went on a busy day (with a newborn too). The staff was quick and accommodating with little wait time. We were even able to place our order while we were waiting for a table, and had our food shortly after we sat. The atmosphere is bright, friendly and clean. We didn't realize they only had breakfast on the weekend, but they were able to accommodate my spouse for the sandwich she was craving.
