Brought it to a lifeguard's attention, they literally said "that is his area". We left after this comment. There appeared to be actual feces in the kiddie pool area. Not a just a little. The lifeguards at the diving boards did not ensure that yellow bands were on little kids' wrists. My nephew went over there and was obviously not 12. Nothing done. I took him away and put him where he belonged. I had three kids with me all different ages and heights. Lifeguards need to be lifeguards and not be checking out other teenagers and playing games amongst themselves. It was very obvious. Sad really. Won't be back.

Seems like everyone is following the rules and having so much fun! They will allow you to bring your own food, tables, and chairs in! They have a snack bar that seems to have something for everyone with great prices! The price to get in is so affordable at eight dollars per child. It's the cheapest fun you can have! If you're a parent/caregiver and you want to swim, it will cost you the same but if you just want to go in it, it's five dollars to enter. We typically stay the full rec time that is 3 1/2 hours. We absolutely love it. The splash pad for the younger kids is really awesome with a waterslide that's perfect for youngsters! That waterslide is so much fun and these little ones have a blast! Magnolia Park is still newer, so of course it looks beautiful and well-kept. There are covered bench and table areas to enjoy a picnic or even throw a party. Those, unfortunately, are the only shaded areas at the park. Given how hot Vacaville can get, this is quite disappointing. The dining areas are fairly clean, for the most part. We will, unfortunately, always have individuals who will not clean up after themselves though. In regard to play areas, there are a couple areas where both big kids and little ones can enjoy. The jungle gym areas have bark to help soften kids' falls. I'm personally not a fan of the bark, since it gets in shoes, cause splinters, and what not. Thankfully, other areas have a thicker rubber covering the ground. There is also a water station where kids can play and enjoy playing in the cool water. This was a huge hit for many of the kids (and adults with their children) during the summer.

This is a beautiful large park with plenty to do! On the weekends there is always something going…read moreon here. Ive been to a couple of parties in the large bbq area which is great for renting out for your event. There is a public pool, tennis courts, soccer fields, baseball fields, a skateboard area, and a dog park. Im lucky enough to live just a short walk away, so I often take my two dogs walking over there for a good hour or two. In the middle of the day on a week day it is beautiful and quiet. Its great to have such a nice park so close to home!
