Today I came to dream nails for the first time I called and was given an appt at 12:15 for a gel manicure and gel pedicure and was given a price over the phone of 65$ and once I got there they started doing my nails and toes and all of a sudden they had 3 or 4 new clients walk in while they were still working on me and the girl(Leslie) doing my pedicure decided to leave me before finishing my pedicure and left me with a sloppy pedicure and only top coat on one of my feet I told the girl who was doing my nails (Lana)and she had asked the girl to fix it and Leslie didn't and just continued to work on her new clients nails and the girl doing my nails (Lana) had to fix her mistake and put the top coat on for her..and then Lana she was finishing my nails up and I let her know that my cuticles weren't cut and that my nail polish was uneven and all over my cuticles and she was started to fix it until another client walked in and she looked at me and shrugged as if that's all she could do because she needed to help the new people walking in..THEN I go to pay and she tries to overcharge me a total of 85$ when I was told 65 over the phone.. [[HIGHLIGHT]]after I got home the manager sent me a text apologizing that they were short staffed and that it's still not an excuse but offered me to come back for them to correct their issues but at this point I declined because the salon just left a bad taste in my mouth and I just would rather not go back all in all I was very unhappy with my nails and toes, and wouldn't recommend this salon to anybody![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But this is what I get for going somewhere new when I already have a great salon I go to regularly they were just closed on sundays so I decided to take a chance and learned my lesson. If you want a great place in. Camarillo try CK Nails! Let me also say that I'm not one to complain I'm just leaving this so this doesn't happen to anybody else. Attaching pics (didn't want to post my toes lol but look at how there's polish on my cuticles they're bumpy and uneven and color isn't consistent)

Unfortunately I tried this place for the first time and my nails looked awful literally 2 days later. All chipping and color looks awful. She didn't do enough layers of color and for some reason she filed my nails after putting the gel coat on. I'm assuming this is why they chipped the next day. I really wanted to like this place but I feel like I threw $40 in the trash because now I need to go get them done again. 3 stars because I hate giving 1 star.

Everyone was really nice. Very clean shop. My toes looked great and I'd returned for a pedicure. My dip nails are terrible. They are all rough. The tech said it's so they don't crack. I've had my nails done for 11 days and they started chipping on day 3. The tech said two , but most likely 3 weeks till I needed to return.

They burned my skin and didn't even care. I came here to get a full service mani and pedi before going on vacation. I thought the salon was beautiful and I was really excited to try out the Luxury Pedicure package. Sit back, relax, and be pampered. That was not the case. The chemicals they used for the callus removal burned my skin. I have received this treatment at other salons and never had my skin burned. After I told them they put some random cream or something on it (I still have no idea what it was) and then stopped what they were doing. Only one foot has callus removal completed. The other was barely touched. Then they put a small amount of lotion on my legs, covered them with a towel and wiped it off. Did not rub the lotion in provide a massage as the package said it would. When I mentioned this, they still wanted to charge me for the full service even though I only received a fraction of those package items. Meanwhile, the polish they put on my fingernails did not look good (uneven coverage, bumps of chin it stuff under the polish, and smudges) and I asked for them to remove it. They were not happy about that and gave me attitude. But why should I pay for something what doesn't look good? I simply asked them to fix it and they gave me a hard time. Some else finished up the color on my toes (because it needed to be fixed after the first person did it) and repainted my fingernails. They rushed me for payment and the whole time made me feel like I was the one that did something wrong. Zero out ten. Will not return again.

Everyone here was really nice but this is the worst manicure I've ever gotten. I don't live in the area, so when I'm in Camarillo I get my nails done because it's typically cheaper than Los Angeles. My nails got pretty long after having dip gel on them for a while, but 3 of them were broken. The nail tech (did not catch her name) recommended that I get extensions on those 3 nails to even them out. That sounded like a good idea, so I went for it. Everything looked fine when I left. One day later and the 3 nails that she put the extensions on look SO BAD. The index finger is pretty much completely lifted off the nail bed. She didn't do a base for the dip, just put on the extension and dipped in the color. I'm going to have to go to my regular place to get them fixed now. She also did not even touch my cuticles, and for $55 that is pretty standard. This isn't my regular Camarillo nail place, I actually made an appointment here by mistake. But I won't be coming back.

This nail salon is great. Great customer service. The entire staff is friendly. I had an amazing pedicure from Kevin. And I also got a full set done by Paula. She did a great job! I couldn't be happier! I showed her a picture of what i wanted and she gave me exactly that!

They did a fantastic job on my nails. Their pedicures are great too! They just got some brand new pedi chairs. I highly recommend.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Came here as a walk in on a Wednesday morning and was grateful that I was immediately attended to.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ladies were so sweet and friendly, and the vibe of this nail salon and quiet which I really appreciated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got a classic gel pedicure. The lady that did my pedicure cleaned up my nails really thoroughly: buzzed off the gel I had before, cleaned my cuticles, and cut my nails. I thought she did a great job. The paint job was not bad, but the not the best I have had. P At the end, she gave me a calf and foot massage which felt so good. She really went IN on my calves. The service came out to $50 which is so affordable considering the great service! I would definitely come back! read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I used to come here every 2-3 weeks for at least a year and the women who helped me were always nice even the girls sitting around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lack of time and money made it so I have had to take a break and just been painting my nails at home. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Going on a vacation and decided to call to get them done and asked for their last appointment of the day and they wouldn't give me any options, especially the lady who used to do them Loan was just giving me excuses on why they don't work late and then she hung up on me[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I thought I'd try calling today, a week later, and they answered my phone call and hung up twice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Super unprofessional if you're going to discriminate against someone who had to take a break, I always tipped very well and was prompt to my appointments (which were all late evening in the past). My experience here was a more of a nightmare than a dream. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Arrived early for an appointment for dip manicure / regular polish pedicure.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Upon arrival, I was rushed to sit at the table for the dip removal process and she would not allow me to select a color of polish.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] WITHOUT soaking my existing dip color, the nail tech immediately attempted to remove my dip polish with a hard object at the bottom of my nails. It was painful and I had to pull my hand away from her, and ask her to stop several times before she started the proper dip gel process by soaking and wrapping. This should have been my first cue to leave. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Once she finally started soaking my nails the correct way, she asked me to go sit in the pedicure chair, again rushing me and not allowing me to select a color of polish on the wall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Instead she brought me a book with swatches. Trusting she had a system for matching these swatches to bottles of polish on the wall, I pointed a darker purple color. Anyway, that is not what ended up on my toes. What ended up on my toes was bubble gum pink color which is no where near the darker purple swatch I asked for. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As soon as I noticed it, I let her know that was not the color I asked for and she told me it looks nice and made no effort to get the right color.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I repeated that I need a darker color but she continued to paint with this polish anyway. I gave up the fight resolving never to return. But felt compelled to warn others. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clearly my requests, and my comfort were of no concern to this woman, just my credit card.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Fair warning. read more

I think it depends on the techs that get assigned to you. That said, my nail tech did a phenomenal job on my toes. Square, told me my recently snipped toe nail "sidewalls" had been cut too much which will cause discomfort as it grows out (which is happening now and I'm trying another salon as I type this-because I need to find my forever salon). As I type this, my tech is being VERY meticulous and I appreciate it. Let's see what my toes look like after. This place though, Dreams-are where dreams are made of, if only they do a longer massage!! I love the ambiance of Dreams. The mirrored tiles and chandeliers-makes me feel very pampered! It's always the eye candy that sets the tone! The price was decent and we (my friend and I) came on a Sunday before closing and they didn't rush us. Will be back if my last salon I want to try isn't good or this one. Keeping fingers crossed! read more

Very quick pedicure. Came here recently for the 1st time. No attention to detail. I actually had to say out loud that it was a "bad pedicure" because there was no way I was going to pay $50 plus & leave with my toes looking the way they did. Had to correct 4 toes that were severely messed up but really could have used a complete do over. Several nails didn't have paint on the whole nail & a few other nails were painted to were the gel polish was actually on & around my skin coming outside of the nail, if I had left like that the gel would have lifted off the whole nail & come off in no time at all. The gel pedicure was pathetic. Giving 2 stars instead of one because hopefully this doesn't represent all of the staff's abilities....still I won't risk going back again. read more

I am not one to Yelp, but I was extremely disappointed with my service. I went in for a gel pedicure and dip mani. The worst pedicure I have had. It lasted about 10 min. barely any scrubbing of my feet and applied lotion with no massage. You can tell she rushed through the painting of my toes. My dip color did not come out at all like the example and she cut two of my fingers. This was definitely not worth $95. read more

Treated my daughter and myself to a gel mani today at Dreams Nail Salon. We had been going to amother nail salon for awhile but had been here previously but quite a while ago. During the interim, the salon underwent a change in ownership and we were curious to give it another try was as we had had heard some good reviews from others. Our manicurist was Cindy who is very sweet amd did a wonderful job and gave us both an A+ manicure that included the most relaxing hand amd arm massage as a final touch to our service. The salon is very inviting and well maintained and they take care to keep their clients happy as we witnessed and experienced. Lookimg fwd to going back for a spa pedi. read more

BUYERS BEWARE!!!! went to to put gel polish on my already filled acrylic nails that I did from home and they charged me $35 big rip off!!!! All they did was just put the polish on in polished nails! Gel polish changes usually are $15 to $20.?! But $35???? That's RIDICULOUS!!!! read more

Yet another GEM off the beaten path!! This place is lovely!! The decor, the ambience,the people, the product; all top notch. I walked in and was greeted by a super friendly gentleman, the was seated right after I chose my color. My lady Rose was a doll! She was able to gauge that I was in relaxation mode and asked the necessary questions to meet my needs. The only downside is that I could have used a longer massage, but it's ok. Big deal alert- they use liners yall!! To be honest, I fell asleep a few times because the whole experience was deliciously relaxing! Kudos to this place. Went in for a pedicure with my daughters. My Pedicure was OK, nothing great but also not bad. My daughter asked for a flower on her toe. The picture is after I asked the lady to fix it...twice. I finally gave up and went with it. She then stared at me from the break room eating ketchup packets. I won't be going back. read more

I'm so sad to say, I'll never return here and I'll be filing a complaint with the better business bureau regarding there practices. As you can see, I've been coming here regularly for 10 months. I've always gotten a basic manicure and pedicure with GEL polish. They've charged me between 75-77 dollars each time. Which initially I was surprised at the cost as I'm used to getting acrylics and they run about the same price. I didn't question it too much. However ten months later I'm looking more closely at their pricing pamphlets and NOTHING makes sense about it. I called in and spoke with the apparent "manager" of the establishment to ask about basic pricing and he finished on a gel pedicure being 37 and a gel manicure being 29. After a lot of circular speaking and fluctuation in pricing. So be prepared if you go here, they'll charge you what they think you'll pay. Not actual listed prices. So I've probably gotten at least 15 mani pedis in the time I've been coming here. That equates to nearly $150 dollars in unexplained extras out of my pocket and into theirs. read more

The ladies are friendly, however don't do a good job. I got dip powder nails and they're bumpy and lumpy, and the lady doing my pedicure cut me deep while filing my cuticles. Also, my dip nails lifted almost immediately and one fell completely off after just a week. The only reason they're getting a star is because they were friendly enough. read more

And coming from an Asian background myself certain mannerisms and body language might come off to people with non-Asian backgrounds as cold or rude. Nancy is really just a quiet person, you can even tell when she speaks Viet she is very soft spoken, so don't take her reservedness as her not liking you. I think any introvert can empathize there. Once she warms up to you she is really lovely. And even after all that and you still feel like it ain't just try somewhere else, no need to leave a review unless she cut your finger off. We were immediately seated; I can't recall the name of the lady who did mine, but my bestie got Tom, and he was an absolute treasure. Such a kind and giving heart! We three hit it off very well, and he took a strong interest in our lives despite us being total strangers, and made conversation easily, and even shared some of his life story with us that left us teary eyed (he's a real inspiration, let me tell you!). Sometimes that kind of conversing feels awkward or forced at salons, but it naturally blossomed between the three of us, and it's made an incredible impression. In addition to a kind heart, he had a great work ethic; he really went above and beyond on making sure my friend's manicure was perfect, and she even commented to me afterwards how incredible and long the massage was. Her manicure took nearly double the time mine did (which isn't to say mine was bad; it was lovely), and I'm so grateful for how much work he put in, as it really made my friend's day! Clean and friendly, Cindy took her time cleaning your cuticles and gives the best massages on both hand and feet. She put acrylic on both my big toes since they had chipped and made them look natural. She is gentle and removed my ingrown without pain. I am so impressed with the pricing as well. All in all, this is my new place. Thanks to rhe reviews on yelp, I was able to find this hidden gem in Camarillo. Highly reccomend. :)

If I can give it zero stars I would. My sister came here today to get her nails done for her…read morebirthday. She asked for marble on the phone and when she got seen. Shown in the pictures compared to the reference she showed, you can see it's nothing close to what she wanted. And to add on to that , my sister saw the lady wasn't doing her nails as she wanted and the lady said she was doing ombré when that isn't anything close to saying marble. When my sister said stop and to do what she wanted, the lady said, and I quote, "I don't know how to do marble." When she told her and showed her what she wanted before starting. Apparently they are not experienced there so use that information as you wish.
