Located on Nuffield Street in Newmarket, Avokado has been gaining a reputation as the number one store for women with bigger boobs. Instead of just catering to older women, as most stores lingerie stores (like Bendon) have tended to, Avokado stocks young, funky, sexy and supportive lingerie for busty women. Regardless of whether you're a size 6FF or a size 20K, Avokado will have something for you. And, unlike other stores, Avokado only stocks products that both look and MAKE YOU FEEL FABULOUS. I now adore going lingerie shopping thanks to Avokado - their products make you feel like a supermodel, they're comfy and fun and vibrant - exactly what all 21 year olds want with their lingerie. Freya is my favourite brand that Avokado stock. They do super cute and sexy sets, and thanks to Freya I recently purchased the first bustier I've ever found that fit properly. Dusty pink with little black flowers and lace, it's incredibly pretty and the top along with matching bottoms only set me back $160 - not bad considering you'd pay at least that in most lingerie stores, and it wouldn't fit half as well. Tip: Avokado also stock swimwear, so finally you can look and feel great at the beach too without having to worry about falling out of those silly drawstring-type bikini tops. They have regular sales, reduced clothing from $10 which is brilliant. The sales staff are fantastic, attentive, friendly without being pushy. LONG REVIEW: The store in Hamilton 4 star the people were great, friendly comfortable service and knowledgeable staff, and for the following issue first contact for complaint and they dealt with their part well too. I think the actual store could be nicer but that's not their fault or the issue. If you have to deal with their head office however absolutely useless, they should have continued to let the store deal with me because they have lost themselves a customer thanks to their poor service, their own mistakes and then continuing to cause inconvenience after they stuff it up. Product purchased 6/3 and not used till I returned from holiday 6 days later. First contact about faulty product was made on 23/3 it is now 10/4 and I am still at least 5 days away from having this resolved. Which will be about 23 days to process a warranty return (product has a 10 year warranty) on a product I owned for 16 days (used 4 or 5 times). After sending faulty product (to the store where purchased) back at my own cost and waiting for them to test it i then had to wait for their head office to approve and process my return, this was a pretty slow process and with the length of time owned vs it's warranty length I was already pretty disappointed and annoyed. Also I stressed the fact I am moving on the 11th and need it sorted before then. The head office wouldn't let the store send my replacement they wanted to do it themselves and then sent out the wrong product worth $90 less than what I paid. And with no receipt for the new warranty. When I contacted after receiving the wrong item ( Email sent to head office but I called the store where purchased as I wanted some decent service) I said I was fuming and that if they wanted it back they can send me a pre paid return bag WITH THE correct product as I've already paid for one lot of postage and I'm not paying for that too, the response from the store again great however she did say they will deal with it from here and sadly am still dealing with the HO I gave them (the store on the phone) my new address as tomorrow was my cut off day for me to be anywhere near happy, in the response from the head office they do apologise which quite frankly after all this doesn't mean shit, have the cheek to say "to make this right" we will send a return bag and post ur correct item once we receive our product back??? Since I already said if they want it back to send a pre paid return bag do you not think I will?? And quite frankly even if I didn't don't you think you should just suck it up by now, and count it as actually doing something towards "making it right". I considered paying for this incorrect item just to speed up the process but don't want you getting any more of my money. Never ever again will I shop with peaches and cream!!

It wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea but I strongly dislike clutter so I find it to be strangely calming. The dressing rooms, on the other hand, are rather plush and very spacious. The sales assistants even offer you sparkling water when you try something on! Lonely are well know for their playsuits, cute dresses, loungewear and of course, lingerie, which now has a cult following. It's not cheap but which NZ designer is. And to be fair I still wear a dress I bought about 8 years ago. That's value for money I say!

Farmers also has a good supply of baby gear to choose from. It has both indoor and outdoor stores and a separate little outlet mall. The parking is plentiful and free, which is also a good reason to drive out here to shop instead of paying for parking at Centre Place in the CBD. There is a food court with the usual options in the indoor side of the mall and a block of eateries across the way as an outdoor food court. In the end, it's a mall. I do like that there is a fairly large green space and playground, which allows my husband and I to divide and conquer with the kids. This is handy.
