I only looked her up because I was cleaning out some files and found a letter she had written, defending her then client who had pleaded guilty to physically assaulting me. The letter--which I'm sure wasn't even written by her but by her client--was filled with lies, spurious attacks on my character, excuses for why her client pleaded gulity (he WAS guilty), and she sent that letter, after her client pleaded guilty to assault, to a Board of Ethics! I would love to read the PA Disciplinary Board opinion to learn that facts that resulted in her suspension, but I'm satisfied that she is no longer a member of the bar.

A recent life ordeal lead me to needing a lawyer. I had intentions of going with a familiar…read moresounding lawyers firm name that I hear "frequently" on local television. Please I urge you to think twice about going with a law firm that is almost constantly advertising their business, and to be fair there are always an exception to my rules. I did that and after a 2 or 3 month waiting time because of my need to save up for their quoted price, the price went up $800.00. I did question her about price increase but got no where. I simply replied " OK let me see what I can do to scrape up more money." She replied "Ok we are here for when you need us". What kind of lawyers office would want to stick it to a potential new client? I thought their goal was to help? I then searched on line for another lawyer and came across the firm of Cunningham, Chernicoff & Warshawsky, P.C. who I have heard of only because they have been in this area for 38+ years. That amount of yrs in business speaks for itself. I called them and was greeted by a calming voice, Deloris. This firm gets a point for her because at this time I was wound up from the $800 hike-n-price lawyers office, which the differance "might" go toward paying for commercials. Deloris collected the information needed and transferred me to a paralegal, Jacob Laughman. He asked me for a bit more information and set up an appointment with Johanna H Rehkamp within one week! I felt a little more at ease. Fast forward to appointment and from the time I walked in to CC+W's door until the meeting with Johanna Rehkamp and Jacob was over I was very happy I did not go with first law firm. I actually felt more confident about my future. The people that I dealt with from CC+W were ALL very down to earth and did not make me feel on edge, whatsoever.
