Only a little bit of seating, and you order at the counter but they bring you the food. Fantastically fresh food! They brought our food to us - chicken bacon panini (on gluten free bread) and a chicken Milanese panini. Both were delicious! Very delicious sandwiches. We came here after hiking the 11 mile mile loop at pictured rocks. The perfect way to quench our hunger.

Staff was friendly. Quick service. Felt that the restaurant didn't really have an identity/theme throughout their menu. Although vegetarian options, no vegan options for my brother. The hot dog looked appealing on the menu, but cucumbers do not belong on a hot dog. Waffle fries weren't that crispy and over salted. Best place for meals for Vegetarian and amazing SALADS for MILES!! Do yourself a favor and grab a few so you can have some food for a day or two while out exploring. Argula salad with dressing packed on the side, some toppings- so fresh! The Chinese Chicken Salad had a nice tasty piece of chicken on top, and great toppings on the side! Mushroom sandwich, reubens and other options on the menu- And I guess the cupcakes must be amazing since they were gone when I was there! I have to admit like others have stated- I like fresh food made daily- real food- doesn't have to be fancy but does need to be made with quality ingredients= this place is it!! And they close at 4pm which is barely enough time if you take a boat tour! Hopefully in busier months they can afford to extend their hours. Wish I had found this spot on my first drive thru town! Highly recommend and want others to support to keep this place open- Wonderful place- not on the main drag- so go find it!! read more

We visited on July 21, 2021. The male working the register was rude to our entire family and seemed bothered that we were there. The two young girls who brought our food were very nice, however. The food was fabulous as well as the beer from the attached brewery. Loved the decor. The whole experience would've been amazing if it weren't tainted by the first employee we met there. read more

I debated whether to give four or five stars. I decided on five, because what is good is really good! They are a tad pricey. We've visited twice. We've had four sandwiches and a salad. The veggie panini, muffalata, salad, and their cheese special with pesto, sun dried tomato and bacon were all awesome. The Rueben was not in our top 10 ruebens. The other three sandwiches were outstanding!! And the pretzels with the sauce were great. If you like beer, the attached brewery, By George, has good beer. You can order your food, go to the brewery, get your beer and they will bring your food. On a side note, if you and another person are ordering two different sandwiches, don't tell them that you are splitting. They will split up the sandwiches and charge you $4 to put 1/2 of a sandwich on each plate. Really, had I known, we could have done that ourselves for free. read more

The driftwood deli is a gem of a restaurant not only in Munising, but in Michigan. Of all the food we had during out trip around the UP, this definitely came in ranked at the top. The pretzels were fantastic and served perfectly seasoned and with a wonderful dip. The combinations of flavors on each of the sandwiches was top notch in unexpected ways. And the kids meals, what a value. Cannot wait that make it back. read more
