She is kind, patient, understanding, funny, and an absolute joy to be around. OH and she's an INCREDIBLE PHOTOGRAPHER. She's also very knowledgeable about photography and you can tell she's very experienced in her work. She knows the right poses and can set up a great shot. When we first met with Jess, I could tell that she was going to bring a positive vibe to our special day. I knew she would lift me up and make me feel like my best self in our photos. After our engagement session, that was confirmed. She just makes you feel so confident and so comfortable in front of the camera. Additionally, she knows the Columbia wedding scene and gives you recommendations for other vendors. We utilized so many of her recommendations for our day. She had questionnaires for us leading up to our big day to discuss the things we wanted or didn't want. We were able to communicate any concerns or questions and felt completely supported. We did a first look at Jess's suggestion and I am SO GLAD we did. It gave us more time for couple portraits and we were still able to join our guests for part of cocktail hour. We got a timeline ahead of time, with everything organized down to the minute. During our wedding day, Jess was prompt and organized. Everything ran smoothly. As a bride, I felt so incredibly supported the entire time. Anything I needed, even if it wasn't photo related, Jess was ready and willing to help me figure it out or find someone to. I got every shot I wanted and more. Our previews came in the following week and I was ecstatic. We got all of our pictures in less than 4 weeks. They are everything I could have wanted and more! The light, bright, airy quality of the photos complemented our venue beautifully. I will forever be recommending Jess to people I know because she is truly just the best! And to top it all off, she's an awesome human and will accept your love, no matter what it looks like.

My husband and I found ourselves visiting family in Georgia and South Carolina and we all decided we need to document a family reunion that wouldn't happen again for a very long time. It was hard to find someone to accommodate all of us on such a short notice but we found Jessica through some friends' and stalked her ig and website and just fell in love (she's been featured on HGTV even!). Thankfully, there was an option to schedule some time to discuss a quick coffee date on her website which we 100% took advantage of and were soon all set up with an evening time. On the day-of, I was frazzled and frustrated with all the chaos of everyone wanting to change their outfits or having the kids being grouchy and hungry and crying. But Jessica handled all of us with the kind of relaxed commanding nature you'd expect from a mom of 8 rambunctious teenage boys. Do you know how hard it is to wrangle 20+ adults and children and get them all to look natural and comfortable all while making you guys look gorgeous? You don't? Well, hire Jessica - she can show you how it's done and make it look like a piece of cake. We've finally gotten the images back and when my mother-in-law saw them, she started tearing up and immediately called her friends to brag. I'm so happy that our photographer wasn't just a complete pro but that she was personable and bright and made the whole event feel like an event and not a chore. Jessica doesn't just take photos, she captures fleeting moments between you and the people you love. I could not be happier with the results of all three sessions and will treasure the images forever. Stacey was wonderful throughout the entire process for each session. She took the time to schedule a video chat with me to understand my needs/vision for the sessions and provided a lot of helpful tips for how to prepare for a session. As a busy working mom, I really appreciated how easy the scheduling process was. We were able to schedule weekend outdoor sessions for the pregnancy announcement and maternity sessions while I was still at work. For the pregnancy announcement session, she made room in her schedule on very short notice when I decided last minute I wanted to add that session on to my package. I also really appreciated that she comes to her clients' home for the newborn session. (I can't imagine being able to pack up the entire family and go to a studio while only 1 week postpartum.) The actual sessions went extremely smoothly. Stacey was a hit with both my 4 and 2 year old daughters. After the first session, both of them kept asking when they were going to get to see Stacey again for another photoshoot. Stacey somehow wrangled both my older daughters during every session and managed to capture wonderful images of our whole family. It still amazes me that she was able to get so many beautiful images with all of my kids looking at the camera and smiling at the same time. For our newborn session, my baby refused to fall asleep for the first two hours of the session. However, Stacey was extremely patient and ended up getting some amazing pictures while the baby was awake and after she finally fell asleep. Stacey got the photos from each session to us extremely quickly. She has the fastest turnaround time of any photographer I have used, and the pictures were amazing. I do not know how she does it! I found Stacey after the photographer I has used previously moved away from the area. At first I was disappointed about losing my previous photographer. However, in hindsight I'm so glad it happened because it led me to Stacey. I researched several photographers before finally selecting Stacey, and I am so glad that I did. She was exactly what I needed to capture all the moments of my last pregnancy and newborn. Stacey is both a highly skilled photographer and a wonderful person. You will not regret hiring Stacey for any of your family photography needs.

COVID made everything much more difficult, ended up changing our date 3X!, but David accommodated us every time and was so lovely to work with on our wedding day! Along with Ricky, the videographer that he had alongside of him, they both put us at ease and were very respectful of both of us & our guests. We had a very limited time for pics between ceremony & reception and David chose perfect places to set us up for the most breathtaking photos! Neither of them got in the way of anything that was going on, made suggestions when needed, and it was a joy to work with them!
