I am not sure I should be writing this review because I am about to let you all in on a little secret gem that I discovered when on holiday in Tassie. Have you ever wondered what a Department Store from 100 years ago looked like? Well stop wondering and start wandering through this delightful store. It is everything you could ever want in an antique store - full of beautiful pieces that will make your friends envious when you get them home. Most of their items are not only decorative, but useful in the modern world. I decided to visit after seeing the Country Style Magazine piece (that also was about their other Amazing shop just around the corner (again, have you ever wondered what an old style Stationary Store would look like?) And I was NOT disappointed. A gorgeous timber ladder used as a shelf, French Metal Wine Cage with the most elaborate padlock, and an 18th Century English farmyard dining table were all couriered to Melbourne without any fuss. I should by now not be surprised by the amount of comments I get on these items by my friends and family - I do get a little chuffed when people comment though!
