Handmade chocolates on every very clean surface called to me to pick them and the owner who was a very nice lady understood when I stood there in a panic because I couldn't decide exactly what I wanted. Tried a very nice austrian sticky, an un-oaked piedmont chardonnay and a couple of Pinot Noirs. The girl were very friendly and said that the shop has only been here for six months, but has been pretty successful. The wines range from around £6 up to silly money, but seems reasonably priced - they had a 2003 Brunello for £38. We came out with a half bottle of the sticky very satisfied.

The staff really proved their worth during the flood of 2007, the shop proved to be a real life line for the residents that were cut off due to the roads being under water. There have been a few staff changes since then, but they still offer the same polite and helpful customer service.
