That's the exact weather we were faced with and we found the museum about a 15 minute walk from the port. This was the largest museum we encountered on our Alaska cruise and one of the best. Lovely displays of native art and key moments of Alaska history. Nice lockers for all your cold weather/rain gear as well! Definitely worth a visit.

A business that values its customers would have handled the situation with a little grace and understanding. Location, it's right in the middle of everything. There's shirts and merchandise hanging from the outside so it's super easy to find. There's another store right before it that looks similar but it's a different store. Erlinda's is the second entrance. There is so much to see. There 's a great variety of shirts for everyone in the family. There's magnets, bottle openers, jewelry, jackets, etc. I love purchasing enamel pins where ever I travel and she had plenty. They were inexpensive compared to all the other stores I visited. I visited about 3x in one day because I couldn't find anything better in variety and price. I purchased 3 shirts, a pin & postcard.
