I tried Advil and ice for the pain, but they didn't provide much relief. I soon began to favor the left leg and developed a limp. I scheduled a consultation with Dr Zimmerman. He informed me four tendons were injured. I was a candidate for laser therapy. He prescribed a treatment plan and I immediately began therapy. After several sessions I began to notice some positive changes. Improvements continued throughout the treatment plan. I have been to other therapy practices and none compare to LaserTech. The specialty knowledge of Dr Zimmerman along with the implementation are second to none. I am now 100% and transitioned to maintenance. Thank you all. Bruce H

I am so happy with the results! I will not pretend it was a quick fix, but because of Dr Zimmermans's determination to work on the root cause of my condition and adjust the treatment as necessary, I am happy to report my numbness is gone! From the moment I step inside the office, I am treated with compassion and kindness by all the staff No matter how busy the day is in the facility, the staff is efficient in moving me to each treatment and I actually look forward to my visits. I highly recommend LaserTech and am not exaggerating that I feel like I have been given my life back again. Dr. Zimmerman and his staff will work tirelessly to help you, as well.

Her genuine concern, compassion & empathy were evident as she explained that she too had an elderly mother, and she cared so much. This experience marked the beginning of the outstanding care my mother received at AZ Pain. Violetta Melkum has an extensive experience and thoroughly explained my mom's CT scan from SMIL using the model of the spine until we could fully understand all of the problems, what could be treated, and being honest about what could not. The first visit included a pain-relief shot and a professional back brace, all covered for just $30 dollars with Medicare! Dr. Jensen is so highly recommended that we are again very fortunate to have him perform the epidurals, and are grateful to Sophia Diego, the scheduler to get my mother into the schedule so quickly. Believe me, when you have debilitating pain, every day seems like a month. AZ Pain "bends over backwards" to relieve your back pain! And I love how the receptionist always says in such a warm & cheerful voice, "Hi Miss (and your first name)!" to every patient. Impressed and respectful of every aspect of AZ Pain, I'm confident in entrusting them with my own back pain once I can step away from my caregiving responsibilities. It should go without saying, but check to make sure that that accept your insurance For Medicare users - minimal co-pays cover the exceptional care you receive. I had a terrible experience at their surgical center in Scottsdale. I paid for sedation, however I was fully awake and in excruciating pain. The anesthesia provider rather than feeling sympathetic seemed quite defensive and came off very rude when I was experiencing this pain. I was in tears, my blood pressure was very elevated due to the pain and everyone made me feel as if I was crazy and over reacting. They did not even complete the procedure because I was "unable to tolerate it". I felt that my concerns were not properly addressed so I called and scheduled a visit the following day with Rianne and I also felt confronted by the MA and staff about "why I was there". I asked for at the very least a call from the office manager or my provider once they were able to discuss what had happened I regret not filing a malpractice. Very disappointed in the providers, lack of empathy all around, and follow up. I did not receive one call back, or any type of explanation. The procedure also did not give me any relief and cost me upwards of $1000.00

Also my history of a herniated disc in my lower back which I did have an epidural on several years before by a different doctor, now some pain there is coming back and both feet are becoming numb. During my wait in the waiting room I observed both doctors, Sanel, and Cosijns, appearing very unhappy and rude to everyone, they had mad looks or scowling looks on their faces as if they were fighting, and it affected the staff and the patients in the waiting room as well. It felt like a fearful uncomfortable atmosphere, I wanted to leave but I stayed. When I was interviewed on this first appointment by Dr. Sanel, about my condition, he was like a rude drill Sargent, only allowing me to speak when he asked a specific question as he was taking notes. He told me we were to talk only about only one thing specifically. He wouldn't allow me to speak about any of my other symptoms, so I chose my impinged neck nerve, and told him my PCP agreed with my request that I needed an epidural, so that's what I came there for. Dr. Sanel instead gave me a prescription for a non narcotic drug named Cymbalta and sent me on my way telling me to begin with a small dose for a while, then go to the higher dose and come back in a few weeks and follow-up with the other doctor in his office (Anne-Marie Cosijns, his wife). After I was taking this nightmare drug I found out it had many side effects which it was causing me to have that I was not informed of. And I also found out you will become dependent on this drug, and cannot just stop taking it cold turkey or it will cause headaches and more side effects. This drug was a nightmare for me! So after dealing with all the effects of the drug during the few months I was taking it, I returned to the office to see doctor Cosijns, I told her about all of the problems it was causing and I needed to stop taking it, she told me to do so by ramping down the dosage slowly over a period of about 5 weeks. Then she asked me if I wanted an epidural! I was in disbelief, I just looked at her and said that's what I came here for originally, and now you ask me after all this I have been through for the last few months? I said NO, I'll let you know some day after I get off this drug! I never went back there, and would discourage anyone from going there, I also let my primary physician know he referred me to these doctors and how they treated me. I choose to live with my problems and am slowly allowing my brain to adjust to them, it seems to help slightly. My advice is to stay away from this place if you can, find another pain center with courtesy, that cares about you and your needs! Rob

I went to this practice specifically for PRP injections having exhausted so many other treatments for chronic neck pain. Multiple people told me to try this treatment because it helped them immensely. I did three rounds of injections as advised. No imaging/mri was ever taken or done before hand which I questioned. The injections were painful and each time I let them know I was getting much relief. I paid 1675.00 for three treatments and was told that generally helps most people. After the third treatment I was told I may have to much damage and stem cell injections would be the next option. I confirmed with other doctors that stem cells cannot be taken from the stomach area which is what this clinic does. So thankful I did not spend the 5,000 here on that treatment. After being in pain, spending money and getting no relief I moved on and had several second opinions. I learned PRP injections are done very differently and was advised by reputable doctors that I was scammed. An mri is a bare minimum when injecting into the neck and the amount of prp used was extremely low. Also, it is generally one treatment and you are under anesthesia because they go through many layers. When a person is in pain they are desperate for some relief and I feel this clinic took advantage and took my money. The treatments are not being done properly and it creates false hope and then you are left with no relief and cannot get that money back. Unacceptable. Please go to a reputable doctor for PRP if you are considering. I'm trying to get my money back with no luck. I need to have PRP done again elsewhere and the money would go towards it.
