Having given up a Saturday morning to spend time at their office to finalise a holiday, the person involved was not there and had not correctly briefed her colleague. Additional information we requested was also not available. We did not have this poor level of service last time we booked a very expensive holiday with them, yet on this occasion, the prices appeared to be hyped and the lack of attention to detail was completely missing. It wasn't pleasant sitting in an office on a Saturday with her colleague who had a cold and probably should have been off work. Good for her, for turning up, but what a pity the other lady hadn't clearly briefed her. As General Manager, this level of service is exceptionally shoddy. We gave up waiting for the information we had requested over a week earlier and took our £6k elsewhere. You wouldn't believe the offensive email we received from her !! Your Loss ! In this day and age, that is just simply terrible service and she most certainly needs retraining in the art of selling !

Our favourite route is on the Llangollen canal as the views are stunning and you get to go over the huge aqueduct. You get so many boats with different layouts depending on the group. You can hire boats for 2 and I've seen some that take 8-10. There are boats with mixes of double and single beds. Each boat has a living area, some with arm chairs or cane furniture. There's also a well stocked kitchen with a dining table for 4. There's plenty of storage and some of the boats have 2 toilets. The toilets are fresh water flushing and not chemical. There's a lovely area where the tiller is to sit and keep the designated driver company! You get a really good introduction and crash-course in canal boating and locking.
