drove for 1 hr and 45 mins. Office very nice and my husband and my self had an appointment for root canal. Husband and wife duo I was in that chair for 4 hrs for tooth 14 and I shared with the doctor I had breast cancer. During the procedure all of a sudden the doctor started X-rays I asked her why are you x-ray me and her reply was she broke her instrument in side of my tooth and that she was unable to get it out and that I should have read the disclaimer then she said that these things happen. I asked her want that cause a infection and her response was that it may cause a infection and maybe not. Tears stream from my eyes. I asked her why would she do that to me and I have to get my tooth out and she said it's up to me and that her husband do the extraction he comes in cracking jokes saying that tooth is swimming with the fish. At this point it was hopeless tears was covered these people need their license taken and needs to pay for things they do to people. Dr. Joe Mesh was an absolute Godsend. He took the time to thoroughly explain the whole wisdom tooth extraction process with all the pros and cons. He has amazing skill and his staff was absolutely wonderful. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs a dentist. read more

I called the office to make an appointment for my two children, when asked the policy with children the receptionist was very nice and answered all the questions and or concerns I had so I went ahead and made the appointment. I get a voicemail the day of the appointment saying that BOTHA of their hygienist had an "emergency". So I call them back to reschedule to find out that in fact one of the hygienist FRIENDS had a baby and that's why they called off my children's appointment. So finally after 20 mins of them (NOT AT ALL working with me which you think they would try to make the appointment the next day considering THEY are the ones canceling LAST MINUTE but nope she tells me every day I have open they have appointments or can only see ONE of my children. She than tells me she cannot get us in until NEXT WEEK (remind you we've already waited weeks) so what other choice do I have than to make it for next week? So I made the appointment, thanked them and hung up. *Couple hours later* I call around other Dentist in the area because I'm a little peeved that going to see your FRIENDS baby is more important than calling off my kids dentist appointment (Which they really need) so I finally find Michigan Smiles! They are wonderful and got BOTH kids in the NEXT DAY. I called Dr.Mesh's office to cancel their appointments and the receptionist was VERY VERY RUDE when I told her I found another dentist to get us in sooner and hung up before I was done. From the sounds of it they are VERY money hungry. STAY AWAY from this place if at all possible. Find someone who generally CARES about you. read more

I just had the worst experience with Dr. Mesh. I set up an appointment for a "free, no pressure" orthodontic consult. My appointment was at 9am, and they asked me to arrive 10-15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. I arrived at 8:45, the doors were locked, and remained locked until 9:08. I finally saw their ortho, and after he was done, Dr. Mesh came in to talk to me about my options. Now, I have gone to a few orthodontists to get opinions, and none of them had told me that "braces are the only option, and you have to get them immediately!", which is what Dr. Mesh seemed to think. He was VERY pushy about me getting x-rays and impressions today, even though I told him I didn't want to make any decisions until after I spoke with my husband. He then went on a rant about how I'm an adult and don't need to talk to my husband, because I contribute financially to my household and I make my own decisions, which was super weird. After I was adamant that I would NOT be getting impressions today, he got upset and had me follow him to the front desk, where they STILL tried to set up a time for me to come in and get braces. I will be doing ortho work, but it will be at a different office. I just don't trust this man. read more

I stared to going there because of locations and hours of operations boy that was a big mistake .. I should of do more research about this office and their way if scam . In a year all the sudden according to them I developed 4 cavity s and I believe to them I should not I should of go right back to my dentist. They said they did our filling I. They are fast it took them with preparation 45 minutes . And I got a billed over 700 dollar. I have a very good dental insurance then I realized they are charging twice is more than any other dentist .my denist called them o get the X-rays answers was no I went over there numerous time the answers was no. If they didn't have anything to hide they would of simply show the X-rays . Any how after affect I realize I wasn't o only one the did that .shame on them no wonder there is almost no car in the their parking lot .i would not recommend this doctor to my enemy. read more

Stay away from this dentist !! All jhe cares about is how much he can charge you!! Although he may be competent technically, he is extremely pushy and is only interested in the MONEY AND HOW HE CAN TALK YOU INTO HIGHER PRICE SERVICES EVEN IF YOU DO NOT NEED IT! I Called for an apt to re-cement a cap that fell off. When I arrived at my apt time the receptionist said she wasn't aware they had anyone scheduled and told me to take a seat. 45 minutes later they said they had an emergency and would take me back shortly. 10 minutes later they took me to an examine room, insisted on taking an x-ray telling me it would vioate THEIR INSURANCE if they didn't. Then the dentist proceeded to tell me how bad the crown was and tried to get me to agree to a 3 tooth bridge!! There was nothing wrong with the crown, nor was there any decay under the crown or in the tooth root. The bridge, which he said he would permanently cement, would have entailed removal of one good tooth that had minimal brush abrasion! I asked how much that would cost and he said they would give me an estimate but proceeded to tell me that they could arrange financing through a local credit union and he would start "prepping me". I asked what he meant by that and he said they would numb my jaw and "prepare the three tooth sites"!! I said NO I CAME IN HERE TO HAVE MY CAP RE-CEMENTED AND that's all that I want you to do! He did not show me the estimate and said he would "temporarily" cement my cap. When leaving I asked the billing clerk for the estimate and it was well over $3,000.00 for the procedure he was trying to FORCE on me! I wound up paying well over $250 for the re-cementing!! There are plenty of ETHICAL DENTISTS OUT THERE BUT UNFORTUNATELY THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM!! read more
