Just got my clothes back and one of my items was ruined. There's a white spot on the front of my vintage dress (almost like bleach). There definitely was no spot when I brought it in. I asked the lady working and she said she didn't do it and it must have been there when I brought it but I showed her a picture of me wearing it a week before (no spot) and she became rude and said it was definitely my fault. I take good care of my clothes and this was a silk dress so I was even more cautious wearing it. I will not be returning. If you're like me and want to take care of your clothes too, avoid this place at all cost. UPDATE: another vintage top had the tassels CUT off! I wore it once! I am livid. read more

I have used Dry Clean for a lot of years. Have always been happy and liked their reasonable prices and smiles. It has just changed hands about a month ago in November, 2023 I think and the price went from 350 a piece to 450 a piece. Quite a jump, and no smiles. read more

While the new owners have tidied up the front, their prices have increased dramatically and their sense of any kind of communication/customer service is non-existent. I've been going to the location for several years and am done. Additionally, the actual dry cleaning isn't great. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I brought tablecloths from my wedding which turned out to have mildew on them. Instead of looking at them, seeing they would be difficult, and warning us of this, they charged us $290 to clean them. A week later, after several times trying to call to see if they were ready, I finally went in and discovered that they were ready. I was told that they did their best but could not get the stains out. Again, instead of calling me to tell me when they realized this, they continued on. Then, they refused even a little bit of refund. To summarize- if you want terrible customer service, come here. Now, I do realize that my request was a difficult one to fulfill, as mildew is nearly impossible to clean from cloth. My quarrel is more with the customer service and fact that I was charged almost $300 just to have to turn around and buy new tablecloths anyway. read more

This was by far the worse business experience I have ever had and one of my worse nightmares. Please note I'm from Florida and I was in the area to show my horse at the horse park last week -- I took my custom made $300+ riding shirt to them to dry clean for my championship class for Saturday -- When I was dressing and preparing for my class- I was horrified to find practically the whole underarm and material ripped and shredded - I immediately called them and left a message as it was after 5:30 pm Saturday - and again on Monday - Spoke with Effie, who claimed she was the was the assistant manager - Explained to her what happened and the only response I got in a very aloof and uncaring manner that they needed to see the shirt - Explained to Effie that I'm back in FL but can send her pictures - But for Effie that was not good enough- I then asked to speak with a manager but of course no one available - I did not even receive an apology -or any form of remorse that this happened- I believe that they knew this happened to my shirt and are deliberately covering it up !! read more

Awful. We have lived in Athens for 9 months now, and thought we had found a pretty decent dry cleaner. The quality had slipped a bit lately, but I still hung in there. The last trip in I brought 4 shirts. When I picked them up, one was done well, 2 had obvious stains that were not cleaned and the fourth had burn marks in several places in the front. I was told to leave the shirt so the owner could address the situation. I did as directed and returned yesterday to talk to the owner.. expecting some credit on future cleaning to compensate for the loss of the shirt. As it turns out, they had attempted to clean the shirt again and one of the burn marks became a hole, and the overall look had worsened. I asked about what they would do about it and the owner actually got angry with me and blamed me for the shirt's condition. She denied all responsibility and when I said this would be my last trip to Dry Clean City she was just fine with that and literally waved me away. There are too many options in Athens. Do not risk your clothes at Dry Clean City. read more

I am very disappointed with the service that I have received here. I was a loyal customer until recently. I took a beautiful dress there to be dry cleaned. After picking up the dress I discovered a blue dye all over the dress (it is black and white). I returned the dress and they were not very happy about me returning the dress to them to correct. They dry cleaned the dress again and upon returning to collect it a second time the dress was in worse condition than when I had brought it before. There were blue stains still on the dress along with new stains that were black and grey. The dress also appeared to have been washed and the color had started to fade on the dress. I was appalled. When speaking with the manager, all that she could offer me was another cleaning service. My dress is ruined and cannot be worn again. They also tried to convince me that the dress was okay and there were no stains on it. I will never use this dry cleaners again. read more
