Be careful coming here! The owner, Misty Halaby is scary!!! She sent me a very rude email. I had booked my appointment when I was in a different time zone, so it showed up on my calendar at 12pm (my appointment was at 11). I emailed Misty and politely asked for a credit back since I'm a member. It never hurts to ask, but apparently it does!!! I am appalled at this customer service, I wasn't expecting a refund, but I also was not expecting the owner to act in this manner. This behavior is truly SHOCKING from a business owner. The quality of my blowout was amazing, my stylist did a great job. She was very friendly and accommodating. I'm only taking away a star because the overall vibe of the place was... interesting. Everyone seemed really miserable, to be honest. I made eye contact with multiple stylists while waiting, and in response I will smile. Each time that happened, the stylist gave me a dirty look. Super odd attitude coming from these professionals here, definitely threw me off. They just seemed generally unhappy, which leads me to think this place has poor management. I would be inclined to return just because the results of my blowout were incredible, but maybe just keep my eyes on my shoes as to avoid making the mistake of making eye contact with the stylists here. read more

I was able to snag a last minute appointment for an event this past Saturday. I have naturally curly hair, so I don't ever blow dry it and do larger curls myself, so drybar is a great way for me to get that look. I asked for a Cosmo-Tai and left with loose curls that held all night. I asked for extra hairspray because it was windy and humid, but everything held. I think the price is worth the service received! There is also free parking behind the building for drybar customers, which is a perk in Cherry Creek. read more

LADIES and gents ;) ..... If you love yourselves and you want to leave feeling light, fluffy, and like a new person THIS IS THE PLACE. My hair can be unmanageable because it is way too thick but every single time I end up at Drybar I leave feeling so relaxed. I am sure it is the same feeling that dogs get after leaving the grooming salon. But in all seriousness, these ladies know what they are doing. Not only is their booking process easy but everyone is so friendly. The washing process is gentle. The scalp massage is heavenly and the smell of their products is delicious without being overpowering. They take their time and do not rush you out which makes this a great experience every single time. I am so thankful for this business because on days when I need a little pick me up, they sure know how to take care of me. I hope they know how thankful I am for their services. I'm giving 2 stars bc I really liked the stylist and she did do a good job. Otherwise, I'm truly dumbfounded by the "Dry Styling" experience I had yesterday. Dry Styling is described on the website as "Only 30 minutes for us to curl, wave, braid or straighten your hair. Just come in with clean, dry hair. Starts at only $35." I wanted two braids for an event I had but didn't have time for a full blowout and figured this was a convenient option that was reasonably priced. I figured braids were included in the part on the Dry Bar page where it says "braid." I was wrong. I sit down and the girl tells me each braid is $10 so it will be $45. I thought ok, kind of annoying that the $35 only covers one braid, especially considering there is no further information on the website for Dry Styling pricing other than the $35, but it's only $10 for the extra braid, it's fine. So she braids my hair, does not offer to smooth any flyaways out even though I did mention that my baby hairs were a little frizzy, she just starts braiding, so I assumed smoothing the flyaways was an add on. She was very quick and gentle with the braids and they looked great so I was happy regardless of the flyaways being a little more pronounced than I would normally prefer. I'm on the phone when I check out so I don't really pay attention to the price - I just tip 20% and go sit to wait for my ride. I look at the receipt while I'm waiting and realize I've been charged $55 plus tip. Each braid was in fact $10 (in retrospect I think the girl misspoke when she said $45, as I did a little research and the price used to be $10 cheaper so she probably just made an honest mistake saying that to me.) I was so confused - what were my braids even "added on" to? The base price was $35 and the girl literally did nothing else to my hair. So the $35 is just to walk in the door? I went to the front where the receptionist was cold and not helpful or sympathetic at all. I called Drybar when I left and customer service, though much kinder and more sympathetic, did say the price was correct. Honestly I'm still blown away, no pun intended, by the whole situation considering there is literally nowhere on the site that gives any further clarity on the Dry Styling pricing. It should just say "Braids: $35+ $10 per braid," so that I could have made an informed choice about whether or not I wanted to spend $66 on a 20 minute braiding session. Or even better, just say one braid is $45, two braids are $55 etc. A 75 minute blowout is $10 cheaper than the 20 minute service I got - how does that make any sense? Also, they have a $20 cancellation fee if not canceled 12 hours prior, so if you arrive and are told your service is going to be almost 60% more expensive than you anticipated, as in my case, I'm assumiyou will be charged $20 anyway if you leave. It's honestly gross and shady and disappointing because I used to love Drybar but this has really tainted my view of them as a company. Hard pass. UPDATE: After almost 2 years I decided to give them a try again. I asked for the Mai Tai which is supposed to be beachy waves. I left looking like curly Sue. I have a long bang that was curled so haphazardly it was flipping out all weird the rest of the day. I live in Los Angeles so maybe I'm spoiled with the cream of the crop in terms of hair dressers, but this really felt like a job a friend would have done on my hair in middle school. I thought well at least by day 2 or 3 it will look cute but nope even the curl fallout just still looks bad. I don't know if my stylist was new or just unfamiliar with the styles but I wish I'd said something before I left bc it really didn't look good or like what I asked for. I had a appointment a few weeks ago on a Saturday morning and request my hair to get pinned because I was attending a wedding at 1:00pm. My appointment was at 8am ish because I do NOT like to rush. Well my service was great. No issue with staff everyone was nice. The one star is because I paid to get my hair done because I wanted to feel pampered and have it look nicer then when I do my own hair. Well... that was a epic fail. As soon as I took the pins off my hair I looked like a lioness. I live out of state and had to find a Sally's to add additional product that was already added just to put my hair on a pony tail because I could not fix it. I came in last night with my girlfriend to check the place out. I didn't notice this place was here right across from Zaidys! The space is cute, all white with hanging mirrors. It was clean, bright and felt like a treat to be there. The staff was all super friendly and made us feel right at home. Toni took care of me and gave me a wash and "Manhattan" blow out. The scalp massage I got while she washed my hair was heavenly and I felt like a wet noodle before I even got back to the chair for the drying. I have a lot of hair. It's long and it's thick, but she had it all blown out super smooth in such a short amount of time! My hair felt like silk by the time she was done! It's a little pricey but I could see coming back in to treat myself before a special event. Parking in this area can be super tough, but they have valet parking behind the shop and the Drybar will validate it, so don't let parking stop you from coming in. I'm a fan! read more

The day of my blow out the girls were kind and friendly to me and my son who joined and waited for me while I was styled. I'm officially hooked! Call me a princess. Any place that I walk into and am immediately greeted with a glass of champagne is the place for me. It took me some time to give this place a try but now that I have been I can't stop. I love the décor of Drybar - the pops of bright yellow throughout instantly make a person happy. On every visit you receive a hair wash, blow out and gorgeous style of your choice from their style book. I have naturally thick hair and Drybar is always able to accommodate within an hour. I'm addicted to the cosmo style personally; lots of gorgeous curls. As I wear my hair straight 99% of the time, the cosmo is a nice variation to my every day look. The style usually lasts 2-3 days for me depending on the amount of product I let them put in my hair. Drybar offers a variety of services including putting in extensions (I think you have to bring your own), updo's and adding braids. The cost for a blowout is $45, and I always add $10 for a tip (not mandatory). If you opt for the monthly member program it's $80 for two blowouts a month and if you don't use them they roll over to the following month. The service at this location is outstanding! I'm always well taken care of and if I have to wait for an unforeseen reason they are always offering me something to make up for it. I highly recommend making an appointment. During the week they can usually accommodate some walk ins, however, walking in on the weekend at any time is nearly impossible without an appointment. Their website is easy to use and you receive immediate confirmation once you make an appointment. I will continue my hair adventures at Drybar and keep trying all the styles. Had a morning booked at this salon for a wedding party for approximately 12 ladies. First the wait was long as they were taking walk-ins in front of our group. I assume they figured we really didn't have the choice to leave since it was day of wedding. A few hours later we were ready to pay and what was supposed to be a $55 blowout ended up with 6 of us being charged $99 and 3 of those were dry styles! We went ahead and paid and left after a bit of complaining without a good explanation for the extra charges. A few hours later they called and said we were UNDERCHARGED!!!! They took it upon themselves to cancel the "undercharges" on the original credit card and applied additional up charges to another card that was used. I would think this is illegal!!!! I go to Drybar at least twice a month and always get the same loose waves and love my experience (I normally go to Park Meadows) today I had to go to Cherry Creek because they didn't have any openings at PM. I sat down and explained verbatim 'barely any curl' and walked out looking like a poodle. It was so embarrassing I had to go straight home. Its a very busy Saturday for me and the appointment already took a half hour longer than normal so I didn't have time to have them "fix" it which I don't even know if it can be done without washing it again because the curls are so tight. I had to drive all the way home to highlands ranch to spend another hour on my hair just to be able to show my face in public. I called to ask for a refund which I never do but it really did throw a huge wrench in all the things I needed to do today in preparation for a Christmas Party tonight and they said they don't do refunds. Very cute shop, nice hairstyle but I wish it would have lasted a tad longer. Drybar is such a cute shop with yellow details everywhere! They have at least 12 stations to do blowouts at once and lots of chairs around the room's perimeter to hang out in. When you arrive, they offer you wine then send you to have your hair washed. They shampoo twice then condition and make sure to massage your head when they're done. Next, they move you to your station. They have a menu of styles you can choose from or you can combine a few. They do blowouts, up-dos, and braids. The blowout consists of rollers, clips, blow-drying, and curling. While they work, you face a TV that has girly movies playing. While I was there I caught the tail end of Now and Then and then the beginning of The Devil Wears Prada. When the stylist was done, she spun me around and I saw a lot of curls and even more volume! The wash then style took about 45-minutes total. Unfortunately, I was done at 9p so I just went home and slept on my hair. In the morning, I use some of the dry shampoo products I purchased and re-curled most my hair. By the evening after my blowout, my hair was pretty greasy and gross and no amount of dry shampoo was helping. I wish the blowout would have lasted a bit longer but overall was happy about the process! I recommend Drybar to anyone who has an event or wants a good hair day! I think it'd be a really fun spot for a bridal party or bachelorette party. If I have an event I need nice hair for, I will definitely go back! read more

The front desk person said if she feels they are too busy, they don't have to take the appointment, even if you made it in the allowed window . They just want clients in and out the door. I booked an appointment online for my birthday and even had to provide a credit card to hold it, but on arrival they had no record of my booking. Unfortunately, I didn't have a great experience at this location. Though I have been the Drybars in the past, so I'm hoping it was a unique situation. To clarify, I booked an appointment in advance over the phone... or at least I thought I did. I was planning to get my hair done primarily due to the fact that I recently had surgery and it's honestly painful to dry my hair or spend time styling it at this point and I had both a baby shower and a wedding on the same day. It comes to the morning of the appointment, bright and early on a Sunday and I drive in, only to find out that the woman on the phone either double booked my appointment or never booked it in the first place. A long conversation on the phone with their national headquarters later (I guess Drybar locations aren't allowed or empowered to make scheduling decisions on their own or something?) and it pretty much ends up that they can't do anything for me, even though I can see a stylist standing without helping someone and, to my knowledge, it was Drybar's mistake. So I ended up having to leave with my hair in the messy bun I came in because one employee that's nowhere near our state of Colorado messed up and this location chose to offer no flexibility to alleviate the issue. Luckily, I called around to other nearby salons in the area and Salon Valluto allowed me in very last minute. After explaining the situation they offered, "just come on in and we'll figure something out" and their receptionist did my hair - honestly, better than any Drybar location I've been to in the past. (Heck, even Great Clips offered a better solution and options when I called them than this Drybar location!) All this to say that while Drybars have been fine for me in the past, I found the customer service here severely lacking and will now be booking blowouts at nearby salons instead. read more

Looking to treat yourself? Just can't get your hair styled the way you want? Drybar's got you all the way covered. They even have valet parking so that you don't have to deal with leaving your car on the street. Can't parallel park? Not a valid excuse! You get your hair shampooed before it's styled and even though sitting still for a long time while someone touches your hair is not the most fun, the hair stylists were friendly and talkative and there was a movie playing on the screen in front of me. Really a relaxing, pampering experience. Lastly, Leah. Was. Amazing. She really listened and helped me get the exact look I wanted. I really recommend making an appointment with her. Received a personal call on Friday from the manager at the Cherry Creek DryBar location, apologizing for the experience we had with DryBar's call center. Apparently, DryBar does offer wash-only services, but the call center was unaware and didn't ask the appropriate person. Misty, the manager, offered to style my friend and I whenever we're ready to come back in. Great customer service! My girlfriend will be shaving her head soon, so we'll likely take Misty up on her offer once she's feeling better and before shaving her hair off.
