This team did an amazing job. I called Don on a Tuesday and they were out the next day for the estimate. He quoted a very decent price for the work to be done-4 tree removals and 4 trees to be trimmed. They got us scheduled within a week and completed the work in about 4 1/2 hours which was right on time with the estimation they provided. Very satisfied with the work and the bonus is that they are on the BBB website with a great history and have their own insurance and their license is up to date which is extremely important when you think about the dangers associated with being high up in the trees. ZERO STARS!!! Unprofessional, unreliable and discourteous. My mother in law booked an appointment with this business to come out and trim two trees. They agreed upon a price, set a date and agreed they would come between 1100-1300 hours. She took the day off, re-arranged her schedule to ensure she'd be available during that time frame. Unfortunately they were a NO SHOW. Didn't even have the courtesy to call and let her know they weren't going to make it. I personally would not recommend this business to anyone. I highly recommend this company! Our estimate was done promptly and we were able to schedule the work shortly afterwards. We had several large mexican and queen palms removed as well as 2 crepe myrtles and 2 vines. Stump removal and grinding were included. February 20, 2019 Letter of Compliment; case of D's R. Trees, Inc Fred Mitchell, Murrieta, California 1. On February 19 I called D's R. Trees, Inc. because the roots of my tree on the parkway was growing towards my sidewalk and my curb. I called D's R. Trees, spoke to Mr. Don, because he is a licensed certified Arborist. It's important that all of the growing roots be killed to save my sidewalk and curb. Mr. Don is a specialist and it was a joy to listen and learn from him. Mr. Don arrived with his three team members and within one hour they had removed the tree and roots plus they trimmed another tree on my property so the wind could blow through it without putting pressure on the tree trunk. We found that Don has a team of truly professionals. Each team member knew what he was to do and working together it was a joy to see how professionals compliment each other in the process of getting their job done. The equipment that they used was very professional. We enjoyed seeing how the chipper was used as well as the tree trimming tool. They also had a root remover. The tree that I also wanted trimmed was done very satisfactory. The man that did the work truly knew what he was doing. That big old tree is now a nicely shaped tree and the wind can blow through it very nicely. Thanks be to that super worker. I have used Don twice; first to trim my trees, and then later, remove some. He did a great job and was very professional when he trimmed. That's why I had him remove trees later on. The trees were much taller than my 2-story home, and in a small yard he had no trouble keeping the mess on my side of the fence. When removing the trees, he did a nice job of clearing the roots down about 6", in a pretty big radius. The only thing that would have made it "perfect" is if they had raked it (there were a few chips left, and not perfectly flat), but that's more of a job for a gardener. After removing a tree, you have to start over with that anyway. read more
