I had already filled out the forms online so that saved a lot of time. First, I had x-rays taken and cleaning done by Gina who was very friendly and competent. Then, Dr Espinoza who was also very polite and friendly did the check up and recommendations. The office is in a quieter area of Bayonne so there was no problem finding street parking being that I'm a resident. Make sure you have a resident pass. If you're visiting from another town I would suggest parking on Broadway (metered parking). I'll keep going to Bayonne Smiles for my regular check up and treatment and will update my review afterwards.

I have been a patient more than 10 years and love that he has the same staff he had when I started! Beverly is sweet and funny, and Maria treats you like family. Dr alter has Sunday hours in the early morning, and that's so convenient for kids who play sports. Dr alter is really gentle and caring and checks on your comfort throughout your procedure. I have had no issues with his work, which include 2 implants, bonding on my front teeth and 3 recent cavities. He also changed some old silver fillings to white at my request. My only negative is that sometimes street parking is tough, but there is a public lot behind the school about a block away.

When she told him, he refused to do anything. He shrugged his shoulder and walked out of the room. This guy got his dds from a cracker jack box. He has zero compassion, zero care about folks, and is a terrible human being at best. I wish I was there to see him try to shrug at her and dismiss her. More specifically, I recently chipped my front tooth and was extremely nervous that repairing the damage would only make it worse. I decided to schedule an appointment with Dr. Cohn and he was great from the start! He was sympathetic to all of my worries and listened to the concerns I had over the necessary procedure. After discussing the process, I felt extremely comfortable and confident at this practice. Dr. Cohn did a fantastic job repairing the damage and I couldn't have chosen a better place. Dental Associates of Bayonne helped my out when I had a dental emergency. After growing tired of…read moregetting no relief and the run around from my regular dentist and being in unbearable pain, I called around to several dentists near my workplace. Dental Associates took my insurance and was able to get me in for an emergency appointment the same day. After some x-rays, the doctor examined me and listened very carefully to what my concerns were. At the time I was in horrible pain from an infection, but I wasn't swollen and the x-ray was not showing any issues with the tooth. I ended up having to go for a root canal, but at the time I was now clearly swollen and had to wait for an antibiotic to kick in. The next day I had to go to a local oral surgeon to have the abscess drained. A week later, I had the root canal completed. As far as waiting times, I would say they are no better or worse than any other dental office I have visited. As far as the office being "dirty" I completely disagree. It is not fancy, but it is definitely NOT dirty.
