Soon enough all my reviews will be DoorDash food I get while working at the hospital! Due' goes on the list as well. I've often heard this place be referred to as the "Chipotle" of Italian Food, and honestly I love the concept! Although known for their pasta (and very fun shapes while we're at it!), they also have other entrees and sides to order from as well. For my first time here, I opted to go with a classic pasta. The concept here is great in which you can select a sauce (mostly ranging from $11-$14), a noodle shape, and an additional side for an added charge. I ordered the Bolognese with the Creste Di Gallo. Though we ordered takeout, you could definitely tell that the pasta was fresh! I loved the texture, chew, and just how well each shape could complement the sauce. Speaking of sauce, I loved the bolognese, it was rich, flavorful, and didn't feel too overwhelming. It definitely made me want to come back and try the other sauces. It's hard to find affordable Italian food, however Due's provides a great solution that offers a lot of customization. I'll definitely be back!

Was meaning to try this place for a while & am so glad I finally did! The pasta here was very good, and had good portion sizes. The service was very quick and we got our food promptly. The overall vibes inside are pretty good / casual.

If you want an authentic menu, that's definitely the place to go with Italian music playing in the background. However don't expect a server to serve you. You have to order at the register and they'll call your number or your name when your food is ready. I had the spaghetti carbonara which was simply amazing and well cooked Al dente. I definitely recommend checking it out. I loved the food so much that I went again to try another menu item which was the ragu and it surely didn't disappoint.

We were originally planning to go to another restaurant, but with a two hour wait, we decided to try this place instead. When we walked in, only two tables were occupied on a Friday night in Cap Hill, which should have been our first warning. The concept is like a Chipotle for pasta, where you choose your pasta and sauce, which sounded great. I understand pasta is supposed to be al dente, but I wasn't expecting it to be practically uncooked. Ordering is done through a kiosk. I ordered pesto pasta with tofu and bread. The sauce was okay but lacked flavor, and the pasta was extremely undercooked chewing it felt like eating raw flour. The bread was definitely stale and tasted like it was weeks old. The only thing I liked was the fried tofu, which I saved for last, but by the time I ate it, it was cold and tasted odd. I'm glad I ordered tiramisu to help cleanse our palate. Service was just okay you order at the kiosk and pick up your food at the counter.

We went here since most of the places in cap hill were booked. We went to this place and it looked more like a fast food pasta place. The food was bad and was dry and tasted stale. I had the meatball spaghetti and tiramisu and a side of bread. Everything was stale and did not taste good. Probably would not recommend this place to anyone.

I am a pasta lover so this is the place for me. They make their pasta fresh, which is very nice. I got a classic carbonara & it tasted spot on. It had a beautiful rich tasty flavor. I pair with some bread that taste even more delicious dipped in the sauce.

This is the fast food of Italian Food - 2.5/5 stars The pasta was very firm, although there is levels to each pasta that you choose on firmness the pasta was too firm, if they had took it out 30 seconds earlier the pasta would basically be crunchy. This is the chewiest pasta I've ever had. I understand that there is pasta that's al dente but this pasta was 30 seconds from being under cooked. The sauce did not taste traditional, it lacked flavor. The meat for the short rib was tender but also lacking flavor. I added pork sausage, which was also very underwhelming. Service 1/13/26 @5:04pm - 1/5 This restaurant is self order at an iPad kiosk. Then you are to seat yourself. When your food is ready the kitchen will call your name, You are to pick up your own food at the window. After you're done eating you are to buss your own table. Although there is nothing wrong with that, every establishment and business has their own service protocols, but when you are done paying the kiosk, asks you for a tip, which to me that option should be removed because a tip is based off service. The only service that was done here was the food made. The only interaction I had was someone welcoming me in. My best friend and I decided to try this place for the first time me and her are very lively people in the middle of us laughing at something we were loudly shushed. We gasped and looked around as there were only employees in the whole establishment in that moment. Once we were done eating, we bussed our own plates, but we ordered a bottle of wine so we stayed an extra 30 minutes to finish the bottle. Once we were done, we collected our things and started to walk out, once the door almost closed behind us. The lady at the counter yelled "excuse me!" so my best friend and I turned around then she continued to say " Can you buss your table" we looked at each other in shock- as we have never experienced this before, besides we forgot that this is a self bussing place in the middle of all the talking, but given the fact that we only left the bottle of wine that they provided and two glasses, which is something very minimal and to be stopped as we're out the door is unnecessary, and also slightly embarrassing as there was multiple other customers in the establishment in that moment. In my opinion, this should have been something that the lady could have stepped outside from behind the counter to pick up, which would have taken her less than two minutes. This company advertises warm and inviting atmosphere and this experience was far from it. Don't waste your time my best friend and I are certified foodies and I highly doubt you will experience something different than what I wrote in this review.

We were lured over to Due' Cucina after having a fantastic experience with their fresh porchetta sandwiches at the Camp Yelp event earlier this month. Fatty and tender meat, dripping with juices, on top of the perfect focaccia with an ideal crunchy fried crust and airy interior, not to mention the excellent marinated eggplant, tender and filled with tangy vinegar essence. I couldn't wait to give their actual restaurants a try, and that's where we found ourselves over the rainy weekend. This particular location is open and clean with extremely friendly staff. Ordering is really easy on the 3 kiosks in the front, although the pasta chef/cashier is also happy to take orders, offer suggestions, and help with any questions. The menu displays the level of al dente to expect with each type of pasta but can be adjusted in the order notes. They also have a very convenient monitor up near the kitchen that displays order status, whether in the preparation phase or complete. I especially love how this restaurant has bar seating in front of the fresh pasta making station. We were able to watch as the chef mixed up a batch of fresh spaghetti, measuring out the semolina flour and water (at least, that's all I saw her add to the combo mixer-extruder), preparing the die, and then extruding the pasta. And yes, as with any high quality pasta, they use bronze dies for extrusion here! The pasta is dried on racks for a bit to really give that al dente bite when cooked. Suppli Al Telefono ($3.70) - An order comes with a single piece nestled in a mini fry basket. This is somewhat similar to the more commonly seen (in the US at least) arancini. It's a smaller log-shaped fried croquette, with tender rice cooked in a fragrant tomato based sauce, stuffed with tons of gooey, stretchy cheese, and then deep fried to golden perfection. The breading is fantastically crunchy, contrasting against the much softer interior. It's a great pairing of texture and flavor. (5/5) Short Ribs Ragu w/ Fusilloni ($14.90) - The chef recommended the fusilloni with the ragu. The fusilloni, essentially a larger fusilli that has longer "fins", has plenty of spirals and crevices to catch onto the sauce. The extrusion is a little inconsistent, with some pieces being longer than others and others being more spirally, a sign of manual hand cutting rather than being machine sliced. Per the menu, the fusilloni is cooked until a "2" al dente level. This is actually more al dente than most Italian restaurants, meaning the pasta has a very firm bite, yet remains slightly chewy. It's definitely cooked through and pleasant to eat, although trending towards the too al dente side. The pasta is only lightly sauced, but what sauce there is clings perfectly onto the micro rough surface of the pasta. Each bite is consistent in taste with all the rich umami and tangy notes from the red wine tomato sauce. The parmigiano reggiano adds an additional burst of savory saltiness and the short rib, rendered perfectly tender, is given in enough quantity to satisfy. Due Cucina really does serve some great pasta. (5/5) Rustic Porchetta Sandwich ($11.90) - With how great the porchetta sandwich was at Camp Yelp, this is a disappointment. The porchetta, while still flavorful with somewhat anise-like and garlicky aromas, is completely dried out and tough. It's like the pork had been pre-sliced in the morning at a central kitchen, shipped to the restaurant, then placed in a dry heat tray for service. After the meal I confirmed my suspicions with the chef - the porchetta is prepared off site and and driven over every morning. The focaccia, so airy and crisp at Camp Yelp, is also subpar in store. It's floppy, completely saturated with oil, yet feels dried out on the interior. At least the eggplant hasn't degraded in quality too much. While still having a bite (e.g. not super tender), it's grilled and marinated until tangy and savory in a vinaigrette. Interestingly they serve the sandwich on top of a bed of lettuce tossed in a balsamic vinaigrette. The oils in the sandwich drip down while eating to add even more flavor. (3/5) I know that their porchetta is high quality when fresh, but I think the way they have it set up now makes a sandwich that's still tasty, but definitely could be much better. If they choose to open a specialty sandwich shop that roasts the porchetta in house, I'd definitely be a regular. With Due' Cucina, though, I'd stick with the excellent pasta. At the end of the day, pricing is very reasonable. For less than $40 after tax/tip, we both left satisfied. What a rarity for Seattle nowadays. And as a bonus, apparently they refresh the menu often. According to the chef, starting on Monday, Due Cucina will be introducing new pasta shapes, sauces, and different sandwiches. I'll be back for more pasta in the near future! I was pleasantly surprised with how affordable the prices here were especially with it being in cap hill. You order at a kiosk and the worker was really helpful in walking you through it. I got the polpette with the added sausages and it was delicious! The place is small and pretty casual with it being self service so don't expect a fancy dining experience. I'm definitely coming back and recommending this place to anyone looking for a casual Italian meal!

It's been a long time since I've been to Due' Cucina and the portion sizes has changed greatly for the better. I remember having to order two entrees in the past to get my fill, but now, the portion sizes have gotten larger it seems and I definitely got my fill. The pasta is freshly made and there's a nice amount of choices as well as different type of sauces to try out. The price is very affordable for Capitol Hill, so you're getting great food for a good price. Most of this place is self service, so you order and pay at the kiosk and you pick up your food when they call your name. You get your own water and you seat yourself. It can be tough to find a table for a party bigger than 4, so try to come here in small groups or by yourself. Also, place is a bit small so this isn't fine dining. Feels more like fast pasta. But it's great food still!

I saw and add for BOGO bolognese so had to stop by and get it for lunch, you order at the counter and the guy who helped us was very nice and friendly and very chatty. We ordered some drinks and he delivered it to us straight away . You pick up the pasta from a counter from the back and it was done pretty quick, they also have their utensils and like salt and pepper and red pepper flake packets back here. I kinda wish they also had some in like a container as it feels a bit wasteful. The restaurant is decently nice and has a rustic casual feel. overall food and service was really good and I'd go back especially for these deals.

It was our last night with our son so I had to find some place for dinner. My daughter and I threw out some suggestions and knowing my family loves pasta, we decided to try this place. It didn't disappoint! There are several tables for seating. Street parking only. The menu is on the wall. On the kiosk, you pick the pasta and the sauce to go with it. It was all delicious! Good portion sizes except for the eggplant parmigiana (small). My family devoured their dishes. Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend for the pasta lover!

Paccheri pasta with mushroom and white truffle oil

I went to Seattle with my family on vacation. I was craving pasta at night, so I googled and walked here. Of course it was rainy and drizzly in Seattle. The restaurant was busy and the tables were crammed together. The ambiance is nice, small and homey. There were nice wooden tables and metal chairs. The menu was huge on the wall, lots of options to make your own pasta. I ordered the paccheri noodles with the mushroom & white truffle oil sauce. The price of the pasta was reasonable, around $13. The portion of the pasta was fair, but I can't complain for the price. I considered ordering another pasta, it was that amazing! The mushrooms were tasty and seasoned beautifully! I wish there were more mushrooms in the dish but I loved it. My sisters shared a lasagna alla bolognese, they enjoyed it. The lasagna was sharable sized, not a full entrée in my opinion. The sauce was rich and zesty. The lasagna didn't feel heavy in taste or overwhelmingly disproportionate. My sisters were pleasantly surprised how yummy the lasagna was.

We ordered the Meatball Sub and Eggplant Sub with marinara sauce. Both sandwiches were flavorful and satisfying. The meatball sub was hearty and comforting, while the eggplant sub had a rich marinara sauce that worked well with the sandwich. We were especially disappointed that the Cubano was sold out, as it was one of the main reasons we stopped by. The only drawback was the price--at around $20 per sandwich, it felt a bit expensive for what you get, especially considering it was just a 6-inch sub, even though the quality was good. We visited during a FIFA World Cup match, so the line was quite long, but it moved steadily and efficiently. No complaints there. The atmosphere is casual and straightforward, with indoor seating only. Its downtown location near the stadiums makes it a convenient spot for a quick meal before or after an event. Overall, a good sandwich shop with quality food, though the pricing keeps it from being a must-visit. I'd still come back to finally try that Cubano.

The panini did take some time (~20 minutes) to pick up but the mac and cheese was scooped right away. I tried both world's best Mac and cheese and the Smoked salmon one. The smoked salmon was an easy 5/5. I love the dill, green onions, and smoked salmon mixed in with their iconic flagship cheese. I'm still thinking about it as we speak! The world's best mac and cheese was also super good, but I'm always seeking more adventurous flavors. Lastly, the panini was perfectly toasted and crispy with a nice cheese pull! It was really good, but the smoked salmon mac and cheese was magical to eat! The store is average sized and they have a standing area near the factory for you to eat and see the cheese making. No seats inside, so many were just eating the food outside on the sidewalk.

I wanted to try a grilled cheese but there's so many spots around Pike Market I didn't wanna fill up on one place. They use penne noodles with I find unique for a Mac but was a good choice for holding as much of that cheese sauce as possible. It was a little starchy for my preference but still very good. There's little red flakes in the sauce that give it a good flavor profile and little kick. There's a stand up bar after you order where you can eat your food but no formal seating.

Three generations of the DeLaurenti family oversaw it until 2001 when three local Seattleites took over the reins for the past 25 years to date, Pat McCarthy, Matt Snyder, and Nate Plutko. I'm a Washingtonian since 1973 and have enjoyed seeing this at the corner of 1st and Pike. Numerous visits, but my most recent detour was on 2/16/26. I love gawking at the various sundries and specialty items available especially the chocolates, spices, sauces, olive oils, pasta, ad naseum. Just wander along each aisle, you'll understand and be inspired. Also, what an expansive meat and cheese case with knowledgeable staff for your charcuterie needs! Upstairs you can find a decent selection of wine and spirits and an apertivo spot to have a glass and a bite. I was full from my pasta bowl at nearby Pasta Casalinga, but was eyeing the charcuterie cone. Imagine tasty nibbles to snack on while wandering the rest of the market. Back on the main floor towards 1st Avenue, there's a busy espresso bar and where one can get an Italian panini or pizza slices to go. Highly recommended while at Pike Place Market. Buon Appetito!

Wish I tried some of their food but was a great experience!

A couple hours later, I checked again and there was 1 cancellation. I am SO glad we had the opportunity to try this place. It's small, so would be difficult for large parties. Our server was wonderful and very knowledgeable. The food was INCREDIBLE. Like close your eyes, and feel all the emotions while you're eating incredible. There was not a single dish I didn't enjoy. I would love to return and try the option where you get to try every antipasto, primo, and second on the menu for $122/person. Can't wait to come back to Seattle just for this!

Even though the restaurant wasn't particularly busy during our visit, our server was extremely quiet and difficult to hear, which made communication a bit challenging. One nice touch was the complimentary bread service, which came with a generous amount of butter. We started with the artichokes from the seasonal menu. I was expecting them to be served warm or roasted, but they arrived cold, which was admittedly a misunderstanding on my part. The accompanying sauce was excellent though and definitely saved the dish for me. We also ordered the tajarin al ragù, one of the restaurant's signature dishes. Unfortunately, this was where my expectations and experience diverged. The pasta felt under-seasoned to me, and the noodles seemed overcooked. Rather than the silky texture I was hoping for, I found myself eating what felt like clumps of dough. It was a dish I really wanted to love given its reputation, but it just didn't click for me. We weren't looking for a heavy dinner, so we only ordered a couple of items. It's entirely possible we came on an off night or simply didn't choose the restaurant's strongest dishes. I'd be open to giving Cascina Spinasse another try in the future, but this visit left me feeling a bit underwhelmed compared to the hype.
