I'm sorry to hear you were upset.
It seems that Ben has responded to your comment, clarifying that Dufferin Tile had nothing to do with your job. While I have known Ben for many years, he does NOT work for Dufferin Tile. He suggests our store as a place for customers to shop.
Dufferin Tile installations are done by invoice, the same type of invoice we give to customers purchasing tile.
Further to this, had this been a Dufferin Tile installation, I (James Hardie) would have spoken with you at some point. Not only am I typically the primary contact for people who purchase an installation from Dufferin Tile, I would certainly have been directed as the contact if there was some sort of problem or concern with one of our installations.
I have no recollection of speaking with you about this problem at any point in time.
It appears, to our view, that you have posted a negative review on Dufferin Tile because you had a disagreement with a contractor who suggested you purchase tiles from us and wanted to lash out at someone - even if they were not responsible in any fashion.
Even in your detailed frustrations with Ben, there is no mention of any issues with the tile purchase - the ONLY part of your interaction that Dufferin Tile was involved in.

Regardless, I do believe that your review should either be amended, if not removed entirely. It is misleading since you have attached it to our store, and you are voicing your complaint about an independent contractor - not Dufferin Tile.
