Very dishonest experience. The bartender Lo added a tip to my bill without my approval or even mentioning it. Tipping is supposed to be based on service and the customer's decision, not something a server secretly adds on their own. Do not go here they will steal your money. I've been a regular at Duffy's La Habra for 17 years, but tonight I was refused service without explanation. I arrived sober, polite, and just wanted one drink.(11/16/2025) The staff member (a woman with ugly goth-style appearance) wouldn't serve me and asked me to leave immediately. No reason was given, and I wasn't disruptive, loud, or intoxicated. This was embarrassing and handled unprofessionally. Bartender is unprofessional. I stopped by this bar recently and had one of the most disappointing experiences I've had in a long time. I chatted with a few locals inside first, and everything seemed fine, nothing rude, nothing confrontational. But when I went to order a single drink, the bartender refused to serve me without giving any reason. I wasn't intoxicated, I wasn't causing problems, and I wasn't being disrespectful to anyone. After that, several people inside the bar started talking trash, which made the whole situation even more uncomfortable. It felt completely unnecessary and unprofessional. I came in to relax and enjoy one drink, not to be treated disrespectfully for no reason. Management really needs to address staff behavior and the environment inside this place. read more

Duffys is a very cool little sports bar on Imperial hwy. Parking is good but one stall has a hole due to all the rain so careful. Mens restroom is very clean. Food is good with quick service. Traumatized and terrified!!! What turned unfortunately wrong to a wonderful night of casual hang out at the local bar was witnessing a bartender physically assaulting a customer and everyone not even a single staff member calling the cops and or reporting. Personally didn't report and or hear the customer stating calling the cops and the bartender kept harassing the poor girl threatening to harm and chase and follow her. Personally felt bad for customer who had a friend help and get his glasses knocked off due to the bartender physically assaulting him as well. Yelling screaming shouting in public, Not my business but felt very unsafe, unprofessional, and unworthy of ever visiting again. Please hire people with better customer service not bartenders who assault customers. read more

Stopped in for the first time, to meet up with a someone, and turns out it's a nice little quiet little spot, divey feel (my favorite kind of place), a pool table, and plenty of room. They had my favorite, Elysian space dust, on tap, right on! And OMG, the bartender tonight was an incredibly beautiful brunette! I wish I could've introduced myself to! Unfortunately the catfish I ended up meeting there didn't give me any room to breathe I'll definitely be back, and I'm bringing friends! For the suggestion box... I love this place. I love the owners. I stumbled upon this place just under 2 years ago. I have not left since. I go there and draft picks sports bar. They are the same owners. The people are amazing. The bartenders are the best bin the buisness. I am truly just a patron, so my review is real and genuine. The food is absolutely awesome. Angel and Nikki are the best in the buisness. Cesar at draft picks is top notch Jane at duffys is unbelievable, not only is she sweet as can be she knows more about football than most guys Justine at draft picks is a peach always on top of getting yoi served. Morgan is amazing. Jesse is great and always there to give you a smile and a huckleberry. The owners dave and his wife Jessica are amazing. I cannot say one bad word about this place. Every time I come here, I want to regret it. 100% of the reason why I'm checked in here is when friends are here or in the process of dragging me out to this beaten and rundown cottage. Duffy's is not a bad dive bar even though it looks like it was once the little brother of Clearman's North Woods Inn until big brother Clearman disowned his little brother. So now, little Duffy is on his own in La Habra serving up patrons one Bud Light or Budweiser at at time. When I first went to Duffy's, like my very first time, I thought I'd get mad dogged and threatened after hearing some of my friends' good old stories in this tavern. I was relieved when I found it's just a bunch of local regulars looking to chill out at the bar and over some games of pool. This place is kinda trashy but it does have cheap drinks so if that's your thing, then this is your place. You might want to train your bartenders on knowing when to stop serving customers who are well over the limit though. I had to go pick up my friend because he was served enough drinks that he was slumped over on the bar and couldn't even walk outside to meet me, and when I walked in, she was offering him another round. I didn't catch her name, but she did ask me (very rudely) if I had a problem while I was trying to help my friend to his feet and out of the bar, and when I replied that I had no problem and that I was just here to pick my friend up because she'd over-served him, she rolled her eyes and turned to the customer seated next to my friend and went, "this bitch needs to lighten up." I also work in the service industry and I understand that no one likes to be called out on their mistakes, but there was absolutely no reason for her to respond in such a way (or to confront me in the first place when I was just quietly trying to help my friend out.) She's got one hell of an attitude problem and needs to be retrained in customer service and how to speak to people who come into the bar. read more

Our old friend Maribel Martinez has taken up a weekly post just a few short minutes from my house so I don't have to schlep up to Alhambra anymore! If you're looking for a fancy-schmancy pretentious joint with overpriced and watered-down drinks then this isn't the place for you. But if you're looking for a comfortable cozy and friendly place where everybody knows your name...(ok, that might be a bit of a stretch) but you get the idea. This place is the best of the worse. Filthy beat up venue with the charm of a rattlesnake. You want to find a dive this is it. I was befuddled by the hobbit door in the front, and surprised when on a Friday at midnight there were no more than ten patrons, most of which obviously regulars, huddled around the counter with a lone bartender. No music was on, so it was really quiet, and really awkwardly so. If you want to crawl home this is the place to do it. A no nonsense bar to put you on your butt for cheap with the finest of the bottom of the barrel. No mixed drinks here. No top shelf that's for sure. I have been coming to La Habra for years because my family owns a place off Whittier and Walnut and I have been meaning to come to this place, although quite sure I would get stabbed. I was pleased to see a nice quiet crew in here and they were watching Monsters Inc on two huge flat screens... when I questioned it after about 15 minutes the old guy next to me said to me " who doesn't love Pixar..." I ordered a beer intending to have one, but when I wanted two the bar tender just charged me the pitcher price for the two beers- very cool and yes they have New Castle and thats legit. I will never go there again! The bartender had the personality of a brick. The sign out front says food, but when you ask them for a menu, he said "all we have are chips and peanuts, if you want to go next door and bring something back, it would be okay". Next door was a 7-11! I ordered to Graygoose vodkas and got something that was not even as good as most well vodkas. I have no idea what it was, but it was not Graygoose! My first time at this place and let me day from the outside it didn't seem much. Just your typical dive bar look. The parking lot is small and I guess normally it would not be a problem since it doesn't get that busy but this night there was a birthday party going on for a regular so parking lot was full. I walked inside and it seemed way different then what I had originally thought. There were two pool tables that looked like they had just been redone. Also there was a juke box where you can play whatever sing you like providing its on there and let me say the selection that was playing I was shocked it was on there. A few tables spread throughout and a huge screen TV playing the local game. The bathrooms were kept very clean. The bar however was kind of epic with these amazing carvings. The beers on tap weren't that much so I chose a pitcher of Shock Top. Normally I can't stand that beer but we got it anyways and let me say it was the best damn tasting beer! I don't know if it was because it was on tap but I know the bottled beer... Yuck. Three pitchers later I was a happy girl. There is a 7-11 next door which I walked to for munchies and brought back to the bar. They did not mind. Which was nice considering I was hungry after three pitchers. Now on to the staff. Let me say these were the nicest people I have met. They came over to my table and introduced themselves and welcomed me like I was family. Songs played and they came and danced encouraging me to join along. It was a very nice feel. I will definitely be coming back again. read more

Came in yesterday with a buddy for a couple beers after golf and noticed that they have one of my favorite draft beers, Mango Cart!!! Bartender Denise was very friendly. They don't have any bar food which they advertise on this site, though Denise did serve some pizza that they/someone brought. The issue I have was after having 4 beers and paying with a credit card, while we left her a CASH tip, she took it upon herself to charge my credit card 20% = $3.60!!! This is after I gave her $0 tip because we left a CASH tip. WTF!!! read more
