Stopped into Duke's on 7 around 1:30pm on a Saturday after visiting the General Store of Minnetonka (needed to refuel-haha). My bestie and I were seated at a high top table in the bar area. Restaurant was steady, not busy though. Within five minutes we were greeted by a gentleman who took our beverage order and gave us a few moments with the menu. Then a different bartender actually took our order. She was very kind and friendly. We asked her for some recommendations and she gave us some good feedback for both brunch and lunch choices. We started with an order of cheese curds. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with chips. The food took a lengthly amount of time to come out like 30+ minutes. Our waitress even came over to apologize which we appreciated, but I was surprised we didn't receive some type of compensation especially because the restaurant wasn't busy. Unfortunately, I would not recommend the cheese curds as they were greasy and just nothing special. The pulled pork sandwich was flavorful and the coleslaw complimented it well. The homemade chips were excellent and you get a large amount. There were a few brunch dishes that I'd like to come back maybe to try if I'm in the area. I really enjoyed my happy hour dinner at Duke's on 7. I had never been before, but I've been to their sister locations: Stanley's, The Block & The Howe. I've loved every restaurant so I'm not shocked that I had a great time here! We sat out on the patio and the ambiance was so peaceful. They had greenery and a cute aesthetic for happy hour with the girls! We ordered their Aperol Spritz and they were delicious! I also ordered their Bleu Fig burger, which is my all time favorite burger with goat cheese and bacon and figs. Interesting combo but they are the only ones in town that can make them! We reserved the Igloo's for a birthday celebration and the experience did not dissapont! The igloo's were absolutely adorable, nicely heated, and even included individual blankets if needed! Came here for brunch and I would certainly come back for more. I'm curious how their dinner would be. We were kindly welcomed by the hosts as well as our server. She gave us great recommendations on what to try so we went with cheese curds and both versions of the corned beef hash. Honestly not sure if it was the Mid-West water or how well the cows were raised, but this was one of the best corned beef hashes I've ever had. Not the best but certainly up there. I would eat a trough of that stuff. Oh and the sauce they used for the curds. I tried that with the hash....sublime. It was like a sweet chilli jelly of somesort. Went for Xmas dinner. Pricing was pretty good. Drinks were great. Calamari and Brussel sprouts were good. I ordered the ribs with corn and potato salad. The corn was horrible, I believe it was frozen corn on the cob that had been sitting in water for hours. Server was friendly and nice...put in our appetizer order and our dinner order... about 25 minutes goes by, she pops over to check on us and Nate asked politely if appetizers was coming since we were at the weird time of the day late lunch/early dinner.. she says yeah all your food will be out shortly. I tried to come to this place when it first opened and the parking lot was so packed that people just started making their own spots. I didn't feel like parking in the trees so I put it on my list and was FINALLY able to come back to it this week. So there I am - pumped for my solo slushie date. I walk in and I'm hit with an interior that came straight out of HGTV. I'm still mesmerized by the patterned tiles on the floor when the hostess lets me know there's an outdoor bar and patio. What? Say LESS! The patio space/bar are top tier. The way it's set up would make it the perfect place to get some work done during the day, meet with friends, or have a lil' date. You can even bring your dog. In fact, it's encouraged. They have their own dog menu complete with drinks, meals, and bones. Score. You may be asking yourself "how does she know all of this?" Well, on top of everything else, the staff is super bomb. My bartender was very chill - she offered to let me sample the slushie flavors (all good) and went out of her way to make sure I knew about everything Duke's has to offer. Seems like they have a large team here keeping things moving. LOBSTER ARTICHOKE DIP: This is like spinach artichoke dip on a whole other level - delicious! Even vegan options! I had the burrito bowl with chicken. It was very flavorful and filling. The coffee was also surprisingly good. Our server was so sweet and attentive. They have a great indoor area but an even better patio! It would be the perfect place for a summer happy hour with their slush buckets! I will definitely be coming back. I've been a big fan of all the Craft and Crew locations starting when @pub_819 opened some eight or so years ago and that hasn't changed. They continue to elevate their spaces and food game and we're almost to another weekend where you can go experience their absolutely delicious brunch!! I invited my family and friends after church to try this restaurant I had been there once before I found the food to be absolutely fantastic, the prices are very good for this time and economy. The staff is warm and inviting and the portion size very satisfying. I think we have found our new favorite place to eat after church, we all agreed we should try dinner and my granddaughter said she would like to have her birthday dinner there. The seating is quite limited but even though there were several open tables the person who greeted us insisted on seating us at a table that needed cleaning and yet took an inordinate amount of time cleaning leaving us standing in the area by the front door as several people were coming in to go to the bar. Stopped into Duke's for Monday Burger night awhile ago. We both ordered the Royale with cheese. Requesting garlic aioli sauce ON THE SIDE. Both Burgers came with wet buns . I told the waitress, there was sauce on the Burgers. She replied; "I thought you ordered the Burgers with an additional side of aioli". I pointed out to her: No aioli on Burgers just ON THE SIDE. 10 minutes later the cook delivered my Burger. But ignored my wife's request. The waitress had a booth of customers next to us. But ignored us for the remainder of our visit. The cook brought us our bill. I asked why the waitress was skipping our table. The cook replied, "I will be taken care of you going forward". We paid our bill and I added my phone number for the Craft & Crew reward points. I never received my points. I can only assume the waitress was retaliating because.
