They bring your drink out to wherever you are sitting which is really nice because most coffee shops just call your name. They have gluten free options and I love their gluten free blueberry muffin! We love this spot, been coming here weekly for years. The new staff is always a miss. I'm writing this review because the past four times we've been here, the service is extremely slow. Took 30-40 mins each time to bring out a waffle and grilled cheese sandwich (there was only one other table each time). We've noticed that for to-gos the cup isn't full and today well I'm missing about half of my hot chocolate... the new staff just needs proper training, they're very friendly and nice people otherwise. read more

The shop is adorable and has a pretty chill environment, but the coffee wasn't very good. I got a havana, a hot chocolate, and a chocolate chip muffin and none of these items were worth it. Also, the drinks took around ten minutes when the store was empty, and the muffin was never given to us until we asked about fifteen minutes later. Overall, I'd say that there are better places in the area that offer the same things. read more

My husbands coffee tasted like a hot chocolate, but he likes really sweet stuff. This place is slightly pricey. The small sizes of the specialty drinks start around $4.50 add some non-dairy milk and upgrade a size, and you're looking at around $6 for the coffee. Their food is fairly priced, though, and when we stop by next time, I'll be trying their avocado toast. I'll admit it. I'm a coffee snob. I only have Starbucks when I'm desperate and places with weak espresso are so disappointing. Summer Moon was my go to coffee shop when I'm home (Verbena is my go to when I'm at work and Land of a Thousand Hills is my go to on weekends). Yes I have coffee shops for different occasions, but I digress. I recently moved so Summer Moon is not as close as it used to be. I hesitantly tried Dulcedo and wow!! I was impressed. I say hesitantly because there are 2 local coffee shops near me with better reviews but their coffee is not good. (I need for all of you to try Verbena so we can calibrate our coffee reviews because these Yelp ratings have been leading me astray.) Dulcedo's espresso is fantastic and it was exactly what I was looking for. Inside, it's spacious and comfortable. The baristas are friendly and welcoming. And the desserts. Wow. I want all of them! My favorite is the almond cake because you rarely see that. I cannot recommend Dulcedo enough. read more

This is usually my to go coffee shop to go to with my mother but today has been the worst service I've ever experienced here. I don't know what happened with this business but the quality has gone down drastically this past year. Today, I went here with my parents and we all had pretty standard orders, quiche, fruit, chips, 2 coffees and one matcha latte. They bring out our food and our sides are missing which we didn't notice until after because once my mother and I started eating our quiche slices they were cold. My mother then had to tell the workers to eat them up and then they came back with them. My fathers avocado toast also came out cold. Fathers coffee was fine but my mothers coffee was not, she said it tasted very different than what it usually tastes like. And finally, my matcha latte came out and it immediately looked different. Very dark green, I took a sip and it was the most bitter and grainy matcha latte I have I ever tasted. I initially thought it was just a lot of matcha they had put in there but nope, definitely missed a lot of ingredients they missed making it. It was incredibly disappointing because the old matcha latte recipe I always ordered from here was fantastic! They had told me it's because it's a "new recipe" for the matcha latte but they need to either remove it or change it because it was just so awful to the tongue. Very disappointing, I used to love this place but I don't think I will come back :( read more

I placed an online order and after picking up my order I discovered it was incorrectly prepared. I ordered avocado toast, and removed all dairy and meat options, yet when I opened the food container, the toast was riddled with feta. Additionally, I ordered a customized lavender latte. I had to pay extra for the upgraded beverage, yet I received a plain latte. This is bad business! I have a restricted food diet due to allergies and intolerance i.e. dairy, so I definitely didn't appreciate paying for over priced toast that I didn't get to enjoy. read more

My husband and I were super sad when we saw Holy Roast in Rosenberg shut down and haven't found anything near us that's close to their quality of coffee...until now!
