Must try place if you are in Valencia. Amazing stuff. This place was very close to where we were staying so ended up going twice to this place in the 3 days we were in town. This place has a very nice, relaxed and European feel to it, with some outdoor seating. The people are very helpful and the sweet and savory stuff is all amazing. We got the chicken, pork and the veggie empanadas. My favorite was the chicken followed by the veggie. The pork was fine too but the veggie was very flavorful. They have some unique juice combinations and we got the one with the orange juice in it. Very unique and would recommend it. The latte was good. The thing to remember or know is that they put cinnamon here on the latte. I love cinnamon so it worked out for me but not for some of my friends. Now to my favorite part: sweets. The Plum cake was amazing. They have a cake called Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate. I think that one needs no more explanation. It was heavenly. Must go place. I need to start planning my next trip to Valencia.

    Perfect breakfast combo!

A good bakery is not hard to find here in Valencia, but this one stands out as something special. Upon entering, you may note that there are four cash registers... and you have to take a number. That's because this place is so ridiculously popular that the demand is both intense and line-forming by the locals. Always a good sign, ¿no? Since I was hungry, I asked for something that would not necessarily satisfy my sweet tooth, and there were plenty of vegetarian options that could make me happy, and I chose a broccoli-cheese quiche with a cup of coffee. As I munched on my breakfast, I was able to enjoy the incredibly full glass cases stuffed with all sorts of pastries, including carrot cake with cream cheese icing, some amazing chocolate creations, and more traditional croissant-type bakery items. On the other side is a full bakery, where you can buy fresh-baked breads of all types. The staff members were quite pleasant, and the meal was exactly what I wanted. Plus, I got to watch a whole lot of people come and go as they visited this sweet little spot on Calle Jesús!
