On outskirts of Dumfries , has large clubhouse which serves snacks as well as main course dinners etc which were ok pricewise. Course it'self is a little hilly in places but not too bad and greens were fine considering weather recently. read more

Has gained…read morea substantial playpark since I was last there as a child and it's a shame the hotel and one of the entrance lodges are in states of disrepair. As I'm not a golfer I can't comment on the course or related facilities themselves but it was getting a lot of use on Easter Saturday so that probably speaks for itself.

An interesting golf course that has some challenging shots on it. Well-maintained with a very…read morefriendly staff. The one thing that will stick in my mind about this place though is how the front and back nines were intermingled. In the area that would normally be considered the front you will find holes 1-4 as well as holes 14-18. On the "back" are holes 5-9 and holes 10-13. Sounds awkward but it actually works alright.
