Not sure why people are freaking out about having to pay to see a specialist or put a card on file....... It is precautionary for the business as people will schedule and not show for their appts, regularly. Dermatologists notoriously take months to get in to see. If someone no shows most people waiting to get in cannot drop everything & come in... I require a form of payment on file for new clients or clients who are inconsistent as a salon owner b/c there is a cost to do business even if someone doesn't show. Idk. Maybe I'm insensitive *shrugs. Anyway, I've been in at least 3 times for various skin concerns, and the staff have all been helpful, kind, and communicative. I also love the clean, well-designed office, and it helps that it is close to the Highway/many other businesses I frequent.

I've been to see her several times to have skin spots looked at and taken care of. Dr. Williamson at the same time will give me a very detailed full body checkup, documenting spots, both size and location, to see if they change in the future. The appointment might not start on time, but it's because she is providing each patient a comprehensive exam. I am cool with that - she is going to do the same for me. 100% recommended doctor in my book!

During the visit, Dr. Lam interrupted and talked over me multiple times, which made it difficult to fully explain what I was experiencing. I also found the nurse's demeanor to be unwelcoming. She handled several phone calls regarding my care, and during those interactions she came across as short-tempered and unfriendly. I understand that medical offices are busy, and I respect that providers have demanding schedules. However, when patients are paying for professional medical care, they should feel listened to, respected, and valued not like they're being rushed through an appointment. Unfortunately, both my in person visit, and my phone interactions left me feeling more like a transaction than a patient.

They cut a spot so bad that when I changed the bandage I cried in fear of the hole. It was not cancerous thank goodness. Seven months later I have a gash in my nose bridge, and Dr. Lam says it looks fine to her and since I don't have insurance with her this year, she cannot help me. She was very rude and unconcerned. I scheduled my appointment over a month out as I was only going to be in town for one day. I received email confirmation and the two days prior automated phone call confirming my appointment. I showed up at the appointment and the flat mannered nurse at front told me I had no appointment and that Joel wasn't in. Seriously? No appointment? Unprofessional and arrogant business management. After over a decade of putting up with Dr. Holloway I'm officially back on the market.
