I must say as a landlord who employs the services of Dunedin Property Management I find there service to be very good. I used to manage all my own property and about a year ago I decided to look for an agent as it was taking up too much of my time. I spent time researching who would be the best agents for me and I approached about 6 of them to give me quote for the work, firstly I was surprised by some of the high prices that I was quote from some of the bigger companies and I also had some really cheap prices from some 'one man band' outfits and Dunedin who were 'middle of the road' in terms of their price. I decided tyo explore their services a bit further and I was given lots of useful information and informed how they would manage my properties so i decided to employ them as my property manager and i must say I have never had any issues. The property managers keep me informed if there are any issues in my flats, they keep me updated when tenants are vacating and thankfully I have never really had any major voids. I have since receommended them to many of my freinds who have property as I receive a first class service for a fair price, and i am not paying over the odds. We were fortunate enough to have dealings with Dunedin when our landlord decided to switch us over to them. We were introduced by phone call and letter and then later had the pleasure of meeting our agent, Alex. Dunedin sat down with us and explained everything in detail, they were not rushed and would stay and answer questions for as long as we needed. If ever there was any query, we would simply contact Dunedin and within hours we had a response along with action plan from them. The agency had to send some workmen round to do repairs and regulatory fixes. The workers were very professional and courteous. They were well presented and extremely good at their jobs. They went out of their way to clean up after themselves, which is rare these days. We feel very well informed and are comfortable contacting Dunedin going forward. Couldn't agree more with the comments on this page. Dunedin are a complete joke and very rude and un-professional. I think they should get a new receptionist who does not give pathetic excuses and doesn't even apologise for problems. I have been almost 2 months without a working fridge not only do I have to contact them several times a week to try chase up the problem (I have also emailed and been in to the office a few times), but each time the receptionist asks 'what is the problem again?' and says she will phone me back with what's happening..never have I received a phone call from her (once I recieved a text message..they do not even have the decency to phone me back). Last time I spoke to her to explain this, I was told I was 'over exaggerating'. She has no communication skills and could at least apologise for all the problems caused. read more

i have been renting from dunedin for a number of years now and wish i had not,they were very efficient at taking my deposit and 1st months rent,but they are hopeless at getting repairs done, the flat was disgusting when i first moved in i was told it would all be fixed for me moving in,it was never touched still had all the rubbish from the last tennants,i always get the bulls..t from the receptionist if thats what you can call her she is very cold and unsimpathetic keeps saying that she has not heard from the manager and never ever calls you back to let you know whats happening, all they do is take your rent money and do nothing else, in my opinion they are a cowboy outfit..if i ever get the luxury to own a house or flat and want to rent it out i would never use or recommend dunedin property, doesnt even deserve 1 star read more

After reading all reviews I can't I agree with the bad ones. I first went to this company after being made homeless and had no luck with other letting agencies and they helped me with getting the flat I have been renting for a couple of months now and dealt with everything making me feel at ease. I think the staff are very friendly and helpful esp Christine and Thomas and any repairs etc I have needed done have been dealt with within a couple of days. I would say this company is great and would recommend it to any of my friends and family as I have had no problems from them :-) x read more

Excellent company and I have been renting from them for the last 3 years in my flat. They always act when I report any issues and i think they are decent folk. My property manager (Pawel) was out doing an inspection last week and took down some things i wanted to be fixed and he has been back in touch with an action plan of how they are going to fix a few minor things. I will certainly be happy to stay in the flat and would recommend Dunedin to anyone. read more

I have read the reviews and must say that I find Dunedin to be a fairly decent company. I have rented with them for the past 9 months and anytime I have had to call up regarding issues they have always been able to help and always had repairs carried within in a few days. I agree that they could be better at calling you back to give you updates on things but generally I would recommend them to anyone. I am very happy with them. read more

utter rubbish Dunedin have rented me a house for 4 years and i have had no trouble at all. I like the staff although sometimes hard to get hold of Azhar The girk at reception helps me when i go into the office i donr know her name Kirsten i think She is easy to get on with and speaks to my children as well Tenant Ferry Gait Crescent read more

I have been a tenant for 8 years and I have found Dunedin and their staff to be efficient and always professional. I have now purchased a flat so wont be renting any more but would highly recommend Dunedin to friends and family read more
