We ended up with five Walleye to eat and numerous other fish we threw back. There was a point when everyone had a fish on the line at the same time. Captain Clark had the perfect balance of instruction and letting you learn. My daughter says he made an amateur feel like a pro. My three-year-old granddaughter was initially reluctant about going on the boat, but ended up loving it. Captain Clark allowed her to say when the speed was too fast for her comfort. They hop on a clean boat - from the windshield to the motor cowling, to the boat exterior and the clean floor and seats, we explore the Lake(s) we are on and it makes perfrect cense to them to become part of FBC. Recenty our friends heard our FBC story on our boat outing togather and who's future son-in-law who heard about FBC from their boat outing with us. To him it made cense and he became a new member in St.Petersberg, FL. Yesterday we took friends out to tour Spring Lake, MI. They heard the same explaination, felt our excitment and could see how easy FBC makes boating and luv'd it. On our return to the docks we were met by staff who protrayed excellent customer service. The franchise owner (friend of ours) was giving new members their 4 hrs of training. He excuized himself from that couple to shake hands with the 4 of us, , and did that impress our friends ! ! ! ! We have never been paddle boarding before but have always wanted to try it. Kelly was so kind and patient when we initially inquired about the rental process. When we decided to go ahead and take the plunge and just do it making the appointment was very simple. The website was user friendly and easy to navigate. We showed up for our appointment and she had everything ready to go. She made sure that our life jackets were on properly and did not skip a single step. Her instructions and demonstrations on how to actually use the paddle board were easy to follow and very thorough. She also made sure that we were comfortable with our paddle boards before leaving. Out on the lake we got to see SO much wildlife, it was nothing like being in a motorized boat that's for sure. I have never considered myself athletic by any means and am far from being in shape but thanks to the equipment she provided as well as amazing instructions and answering all of my questions I can say I mastered the paddle board in no time!
