I hate to give it a 1 but there is nothing lower to pick. I have gone in this store many times since the day it opened. I have never left without being disappointed. I was excited for them to come to town but their service is absolutely terrible, always has been. I can't get any help, I went in today to buy 300 dollars worth of ammo that went on sale. I could not find most of it. Finally after 30 minutes a grumpy guy showed up to help and acted like he was mad at everyone. The ammo was spread out over three areas, one being up front. Then nothing rang up correctly, I had to find the add in my email and basically make them change the prices. They were not even aware of the sale. It all boils down to verry poor managers. Countless times I have left my cart in the line and left because it was taking for ever to check out. read more

Muskogee desperately needed a sporting goods store, so Dunham's coming in after Dick's closed was definitely the better option. More selection and more affordable. But I would have preferred an Academy. Dunham's has decent sale ads and coupons, but it's not consistent on pricing. You can look through a stack of the same product and you might find 2 different price stickers. Staff are never great with coupons either, so you have to be a bit pushy to make sure they do it right. But at least we have a decent sporting goods store. read more

One of the worst experiences I have had with a sports shop ever. When I entered the store, no one acknowledged my presence or offered to help me find what I was looking for. I was left to my own devices to figure out the layout of the store and the area I was looking for. An associate was coming out of the back near where I was looking and I was not even acknowledged then with can I help you find something. I walked straight out of the store with a cone again being the only words said to keep the whole visit. The customer service in this store stinks at best.When a customer walks in to any establishment, they want to feel welcomed upon entering, not ignored. You want them to have a positive experience not one that is negative. Every customer that walks through your store is a potential secret shopper in this day and age with ability to review on the spot. Make that experience one to remember so they can recommend your establishment to their family and friends. read more

Purchased a shotgun from this location. Even though I waited the Brady Law period, the store would not release the shotgun to me. The manager was rude and refused to give an answer as to why they don't follow Brady Law rules. This was the worst experience I've ever had purchasing a firearm. I will NEVER go back. read more

I wasted 2 hours of my life in this store trying to buy a pistol. I was approved for the purchase in 5 minutes to the FBI background check. Then they had to fax it in to their corporate store to be double check. Only to find out an hour and 20 minutes later they forgot to fax the form. Once everything was approved I was given the incorrect barcode for the pistol I was trying to buy And told to go to the front of the store to pay for it. At this time I had a manager yell at me and tell me they are not taking ads right now even though I had a printed coupon for 5/1 through 5/3 for this particular pistol. Once she finally understood what I was trying to buy she offered no apology but told me to go back to the gun department and wait in line to get it corrected. Reluctantly I went back to the gun counter and was told it would be at least another hour before I could be helped. Needless to say I walked out of the store with nothing, no apology, no gun, nothing. read more

Called to ask if a dumbbell set "power blocks" was available, spoke with Jenny was told to call back in fifteen minutes. Called back 20 minutes later, while still on the phone she yells do we have a dumbbell set, then gets back on the phone and tells me they are sold. Since I was 20 minutes into my 30 minute dive I went in anyways. The dumbbells I asked about was in plain sight. When I got to the register I asked for a manager. She called Angie to the front and neither of the could careless. I was then told that they are not paid enough to care. This is the worst customer service experience I've ever had. read more

So I go to load up on yeti for Christmas gifts and get there and to my surprise there was two big sale signs that say spend 100.00 on yeti get 20.00 Dunham's gift card spend 250.00 on yeti get a 50.00 Dunham's gift card. So I decide to go big time and buy everyone a little extra just because it was a deal. Load up almost 300.00 in yeti gear, wait in line for at lease 15 minutes, the young cashier is busting his butt off trying to take care of everyone. I look behind me and there was at least 7 to 10 people behind he rings me up and I pay cash he hands me my receipt and I ask about the gift card and he has to call a manager. The manager shows and says that it doesn't apply to yeti products and I ask her why it's advertising as a yeti sale she goes and gets the sign and said it should of been turned around to where it just said sale. Used every excuse not to give up the gift card so since there was people behind me and some might actually recognize me I just took my products and walked out. Didn't want to get upset but false advertising and unhelpful management. read more
