This is one of the worst Dunkin' Donuts in terms of both service and quality. First, the service: this morning, I got to the window to which I said "hello how are you?" Nothing. And I said "thank you" after she handed me each item. Nothing. I said "have a nice day!" Nothing. The rudest staff I have ever encountered at any place, ever. There is one older man who does the drive through who literally yells at you when you order "what else!!??" And as I was trying to open my Dunkin app to scan it he said "oh my god" and when he got my order wrong he yelled & argued with me. I wish I could say that this happened only once but he yells at everyone- I can hear him in the drive through line. He has never not been rude. If this were not the closest one to me I'd never go there again just because of him! He is horrible. read more

What could improve? Probably management. I had one experience and that will be the last. I went through drive thru and ordered, received my coffee and could tell by looking at it, that it was wrong. Then I tasted it just to be sure. I parked and went inside to ask if I could pay for a small cup of milk to add to my coffee as I just ordered through drive thru. The cashier was kind and although I could tell she was unsure of what to do she went to ask for help. I'm guessing the manager came out and she asked him and he told her no. They would have to add it to my cup themselves. As ridiculous as that is, I obliged but never again. There is no reason they can't give milk on the side in a cup. I wish had read the reviews before I stopped here. I got the $6 meal deal last week, and everything tasted awful. The bagel tasted awful and the bacon was really sparse- barely a bite of bacon on the sandwich. The hash browns were soggy and very few. Even the coffee tasted awful. After ordering some donuts my son was thirsty so I asked for a cup of tap water. They told me they charge for tap water. When I told them it is illegal to charge for tap water they just said at this location they do. I won't be going back here again. read more

Today I went and as usual just ordered an xl coffee. The guy who took the order after said "Do you want to donate a dollar to the hungry people?" It didn't really even sound official. I said no thanks, not today. And he seemed to mumble a bunch of things that I wasn't even sure what he was saying. So I pulled up. I don't go much but I'd say over %50 of the time the drive through staff are rude. So I don't expect much unfortunately. The woman who greeted me seemed friendly enough. Zero stars should be an option. 1 is too generous. Absolutely HORRIBLE service here. I stopped in to purchase end of the year gift cards and was treated very poorly. I asked for 12 $10 gift cards. The man at the counter asked if I meant $5. Insinuating that I couldn't afford the amount I was purchasing. I said no $10. At this point 2 other women joined him at the register and the three of them began to speak another language. He then asked if I was paying in cash. I said no why? He said card? I said yes. He then asked if I had I.D. (This is all before even starting my gift card transaction.) I said yes I have I.D. why are you asking me this? To which he replied because people are frauds. He proceeded to speak in his native language to the other two women next to him at the register. I asked about the DD rewards program to which none of them could explain. After 8 mins the lady finally started to ring up my gift cards. She tells me the total and to swipe my card (but doesn't check my I.D. that they so rudely asked for prior to my transactions). She handed me the gift cards and envelopes but didn't give me a bag to put them in until I asked her for it. Just rude! I will NEVER shop at this merchant again. To assume that I could not afford my purchase or that I was a fraud is beyond insulting...prejudice to be exact. Decent place. Nice staff. Just be aware they are charging slightly more on tax. Only by 1 cent. 2.19 coffee cost me 2.33. Should only be adding .1314 cents for 2.19 for a total of 2.32. the old Indian guy told me and my friends to buy and leave and then he put his hands on my 6th grade friend and tried to move our stuff. My mom ended up calling the store and went off on him because he was trying to kick us out because supposedly "kids were doing drugs". I tried to order a $1 medium iced coffee after seeing the offer in my DDPerks app, but I got charged regular price. After asking about it, I was told I had to call to get it resolved. This place has the worst customer service, and it's really all because of one person. The older man who runs the drive-up is rude every time we have ever interacted with them. So much so, that we drive out of our way to another coffee shop just to avoid him. He rushes people, cuts them off, scoffs at them, and is always nasty. When it comes to the food and coffee quality, this is your standard Dunkin' Donuts. So if you like it, then great. Otherwise, head North on Lewis road to McDonalds, East on Main Steet to Wawa, or West on Main Steet to Brewed Awakening. Staff here is really nice and are constantly working. At times they seemed under staffed, with one person cleaning in the seating area and one person responsible for making drinks and manning the drive-thru and front counter. This was on a weekend 2 hours before close, so maybe that's why? This place has a really comfortable seating area and seems more lounge like than your traditional DD location. They separate the ordering area from the seating - very helpful if you're working at the DD. If you need to meet people, or are looking to work while having a coffee, I strongly suggest going either here or Brewed Awakening. I stopped for a Boston Creme Donut at about 9PM, looking to find some solace in a sweet, pudding, chocolate, kind of okay donut. I had a gift card. I try to avoid going here based on past experiences, but decided to stop last night for iced coffee bc it was convenient. Ordered two smalls - one with cream/sugar, one with sweet and low and sugar. Ive never had an issue here, idk where all these bad reviews come from. Customers here are absolutely disrespectful and ignorant. This place gets crazy busy in the morning. Yes he's not American and but i can clearly understand him. Horrible owners. A mother was struggling to pay her bill when her son knocked over a cup. The owner stopped what he was doing to run behind and check the plastic cup then charged her for it. So me, my mom and my dad wated some breakfast and this being the closest plce to us we went in the drive thru. So my mom and dad are a little weak with English since its a second language to them, so naturaly it takes them a little bit time to order. The food and coffee is typical DD. Drive thru service is very fast, but it is very hard to understand the employees because none of them are from the United States, I have a very hard time understanding people from India. I like extra cream on the side, I ask for it everytime and I get glared at as if I was stealing! On my last visit, the woman at the window gave me such a hateful look, I didn't say anything but as we drove away my 14yr old son said, wow Mom if looks could kill you would be dead. I normally don't rant about these kinds of things but the Dunkin Donuts in Royersford has got to get it together. Every time I go there they make me pull around and wait by the door or wait in a parking lot. Well today I pulled around and there is literally a line of people waiting. For those you you behind us trying to move on with your day.. I'm sorry but DD thinks this way is more efficient.
