As far as Dunkin locations go, this is a good one. Plenty of room inside, the jelly doughnuts have generous jelly, and appears clean and new inside. Only slight gripe - selection could be better. At one point they had a matcha donut, but never saw it again after the first time. But all things considered, a fine place to get doughnuts and the staff is pretty friendly too. read more

Donuts are not made on site. So not warm and fresh. Bathroom is dirty. The toilet seat has lots pee on it from previous customers. The underside of toilet seat is even more gross. I happened to be in the area this past weekend and wanted a cold drink with a snack. I passed by this location of Dunkin awhile ago when they were building it and just saw it was open now so I made a stop. First of all it's so clean and very spacious. I loved how their was decor personalized to Sunnyvale! Also the iced chai tea latte was probably the best I had in the bay so far. I've had some hot and misses at other locations but this one was made just right! I also tried the avocado toast which was yummy! I will be sure to start adding that to my rotation of things to get! So the Sunnyvale Dunkin has finally opened up. Normally, I'm the kind of person who would rather support local, mom-and-pop donut shops, but given that this is the first Dunkin in this area, I figured I'd drop by and give them a chance. The only other Dunkin I'd ever been to is the one in Half Moon Bay that's located inside a gas station: https://www.yelp.com/biz/dunkin-half-moon-bay The land that the Dunkin building occupies was previously a business called Bay Area Backyard. I'm not sure when they closed, but the building was bulldozed, and a new building was built to house Dunkin, Mountain Mike's, and soon-to-be open Mattress Firm. I was worried they'd get crowded on a Saturday morning, so I woke up early and got here about 10 minutes before they opened up at 6. There was no one else there other than the employees. Sweet! Upon walking in, I surveyed the various donuts through the glass. I ended up ordering several donuts as well as some of their donut holes that they call "Munchkins". Weird name. What I ordered and the prices: * Chocolate cake donut -- $1.59 * Maple long john -- $1.59 * Old-fashioned -- $1.59 * Bavarian cream -- $1.59 * 10 munchkins -- $2.00 * Medium Latte -- $4.49 So how'd everything hold up? I would say that the donuts were somewhere between average and good. They were tasty, as donuts should be, but despite my being there as early as I was, and despite them telling me that all donuts are made on-site, the donuts didn't seem as fresh or warm as I was expecting. Not only that, but the long john seemed kinda small compared to other shops. The coffee was pretty good though. Only they didn't seem to have any zarfs to prevent you from burning your hand. Not a big deal, as the coffee wasn't piping hot. Overall, my experience was just okay. The employees were nice, they've got a large variety of donuts and drinks, there's plenty of parking and seating, and I also like how they pay homage to Sunnyvale and this area with things like pictures of Moffett Field on the wall. But their donuts, to me, are a little bit on the pricier side compared to other local donut shops. And, like I said, they were not as warm and fresh as I was expecting. Just very unremarkable. Make sure you download their mobile app to take advantage of their current deals! I was able to get 10 munchkins (donut holes) for $2, and they also have the sweet cream foam cold brew for $3! I'd also highly recommend you order ahead of time, since there was already a short line at 8am on a Saturday. For mobile orders, check on the stand to the right of the cashier. I hope they find a better area though, since it's currently a really busy area. The orders also weren't that clearly organized, and it was difficult for me to find my order. Lastly, my munchkins weren't ready yet There wasn't a field in their app where I could specify which munchkins I wanted (they had 5 varieties available today), which I hope the update in the system. However, their staff were all so friendly and helpful and filled my order right away. Since location is new, the staff are still working out their kinks. Dunkin is still a solid choice for a quick coffee and donut stop, although I would recommend their iced coffees and lattes over their regular brewed coffee. To be honest, I don't see what all the fuss is about this place. They jbae a large selection, but nothing that other donut places normally carry. If you're looking for a basic selection of op donuts then come here. No chocolate glazed, no sprinkle donuts. All chocolate on chocolate or regular glazed. Not sure if their rotation changes, but for all the space they have for donuts, there should be AT LEAST the basic of basic donuts. You can't call yourself a donut shop and not have chocolate glazed or sprinkle donuts. If you're craving at least one of these guys then spend the extra 10 minute trip and go to Krispy Kreme. read more

Hubby took our little one on a date here. They got half a dozen donuts and saved a few for us. I tried the glazed, double chocolate, pink sprinkle and chocolate sprinkle. Surprisingly the tastiest one was the chocolate sprinkle. The rest were ok, my least fav being the double chocolate (cake like consistency) ans the pink sprinkle (did not like the pink glaze). Aaaaah! This New England girl's dreams have finally come true! Living in CA for over a decade has deprived me of one of my true loves: Dunkin'. Whenever my parents or sister visit from the East Coast, they bring me a few donuts secured at the airport. They were still delicious on arrival....yet, it was clear that they were at least a good 6-8 hours old. No more! I've been watching Dunkin' creeping closer and closer to home. I have ventured out to Half Moon Bay, I have recently gotten some from San Jose. Finally, there's one within walking distance! I'm so used to its major competitor that I'm pretty sure this won't be a regular stop, but I'm just so excited I can finally get to one easily should I need a taste of home. I stopped by today (their 2nd day open), and the store was bright and clean and set up for social distancing - I can't wait to actually be able to sit at a table to enjoy my coffee. The donut I ate at home was one of the freshest I have ever had from them, and they made my coffee perfectly. tl;dr: 5 stars for stellar service and patient staff. Plus, parking at this location was easy and service was quick. If you were like me and used to have to wait in that god-awful long drive thru at the Winchester location to get your Dunkin fix, you'll love this place. I wouldn't normally write a review for a chain since the food and service is pretty much what you'd expect across the chain. The menu at this location isn't really an exception: we got 25 munchkins and they were your standard Dunkin's munchkins (aka good, delicious, addictive, can't eat just one). I'm sure if I got anything else from here it would be the same--with that said, I highly recommend their coffees (especially the cold brew) because they're fairly strong and Dunkin always runs a lot of promotions so they can be really cheap. I'm writing this review purely for the service we received. A friend and I came here for the first time to cash in her T-Mobile Tuesday gift cards. She has a lot of anxiety about ordering in person, especially in a new location, so I've been coming along to various places with her as moral support and to help her practice ordering on her own. She already knew what she wanted in advance and was reciting her order in the car. Unfortunately, when we got there and it was her turn to order, the item she wanted was not available. This was clearly unexpected and my friend completely froze up for a full minute. Thankfully, the employee behind the counter was understanding, quietly let her take her time, and was friendly when she ultimately decided on something, even though the people behind us were getting impatient. In fast food places like this, it can be common--even somewhat understandable--for the workers to get upset or try to rush you if you're holding up the line, which could've potentially been a really upsetting experience for my friend. We don't know whether it was because she could tell that my friend was distressed, but we both really appreciated how gracefully and empathetically she handled the situation. I saw Dunkin was opening in Sunnyvale and came to check it out. 8am on a Sunday and there was 1 customer in front of me and one behind me. The customers in front of me placed a large order and the waiting to order donuts was about 10 minutes. I almost wanted to skip the donuts and just grab a coffee and go. It would have been much quicker. I ordered my donut and I wasn't sure why the girl kept looking at me but after I said the quantity of donuts she grabbed a back and picked out my donuts. I moved on from her to the cashier and ordered my coffee. I got an iced coffee & a hot original blend with cream and sugar on the side. The cashier had a hard time finding the coffee and asked another employee for help. They both were talking like I wasn't there saying they didn't know if I wanted a hot or iced coffee. I ended up just answering for a hot coffee and waited to pay. In the meantime another employee asked me if I wanted milk in my iced coffee and she prepared my drink. I got my iced coffee handed to me and then my hot coffee and after the employee asked if I wanted a holder. My hands were full with the donut bag and iced coffee so I said yes. She placed both drinks on one side (instead of across so they don't flip and weight is distributed). She asked me how many creams and pointed to the sugar. I grabbed the sugar and placed all my items on the cup holder and I was on my way. Upon placing my order in my car I realized the coffee was filled all the way to the top and was spilling out of the cup. The cups didn't flip over because I placed them against the seat. The donuts came in a bag so they were stacked on top of each other transferring toppings to each other. The iced coffee was good. The hot original blend was okay. The donuts were soft with some flavor. They definitely have the after donut taste (not a fan of this). The store is clean. In a convenient location. No drive-thru. The staff needs to work on efficiency. There was more than a handful of workers and it seems each one is in one specified task and unable to support the other employees to move the line along. The cashier needs to work on asking all the clarifying questions to get the coffee orders correctly ordered. If more than one drink it should be placed efficiently on the cup holder. Coffee shouldn't be filled to the point of spilling out of the cup. The area where the orders are should be clear of other orders so there's no confusion what order is yours. Picking up coffee and donuts shouldn't be a 20+ minute visit. read more

This is the first Dunkin' I've ever been to in CA - I've only ever frequented Dunkins while living on the East Coast. I was excited to see this location open up near my work in Sunnyvale. Recently T-Mobile Tuesdays threw me a promo for a $2 Dunkin Card so it gave me a valid excuse to stop by. The Dunkin Card can only be used in person, not with mobile order, so I gave myself extra time in case there was a huge line. At around 9am on a Tuesday, there was absolutely NO LINE and PLENTY OF PARKING. In fact, I hadn't decided what I wanted to order yet, and found 4 employees staring at me as I looked at the menu. I ended up getting the Charli Cold Foam drink (Dunkin' Cold Brew with three pumps of caramel AND topped with Sweet Cold Foam and cinnamon sugar) - I was told this is their most popular cold drink. It is DEFINITELY a sugar bomb and true to what I expect from Dunkin. I tend to like my drinks sugary so I enjoyed it! Overall, a surprisingly pleasant experience at Dunkin for me...just remember their drinks tend to lean really sweet! read more

I've come here a few times to satisfy my Dunkin craving. I'm coming from Boston, so you know I had to find my local Dunkin. Well, I do have to say that I come here not because of the quick service, but because it just happens to be one of the closer options. I've gone in a few times to place to go orders. The first time there was no line and ordering/receiving my drink was a breeze. However, forget all of that when it's really busy there. They actually forgot about my drink (an XL regular coffee, nothing fancy but now come to think of it, I think they put my drink incorrectly in a to go order???) and it wasn't a few minutes later until I realized that people who ordered after me were getting their drinks (and they weren't just drip coffee, they had gotten some fancier items). I said something to one of the staff and they apologized for the wait. He actually offered a free donut for my wait, which I was very pleased about. This is such a great Dunkin location. It's huge with lots of seating. It's spacious and lots of room for people to stand around or lounge. It's nice and clean inside too with employees that are quick and very responsive with orders and making drinks. I love how there are outside seating, a mini lounge with couches and a flat screen TV! I'm currently doing work inside right now and I love the ambiance. This location beats most donut shops I've been to! I placed a mobile order at 7:37 am that was supposed to be ready by 7:50 am. I checked at about 7:59 am and it was not at the mobile station for pick up. I asked a young lady who started to bag it. When I asked what happened why it was not ready and she blankly stared and had no answer. Unfortunately, there was one item missing so lucky I checked so she went back and grabbed it. I had been waiting for some time and folks who walked in got quickly served and left before me. Bottom line - mobile orders are supposed to be more efficient, this experience was not. Food : This place has satisfied my donut cravings every time I have had it. I usually take the sugared donut but the classic glazed donut is also great! Goes amazingly well with coffee. Though I am not a fan of the chocolate, my friends love it and how cute are the donut holes. I can totally replace them with popcorns though my body might not appreciate that. I know people love it but I don't really like the jelly filled donuts much. Ambience: Not a fancy place, no ambience - If you like to sit there and eat, its all about the food and not really an experience. There is enough parking and never a wait here, which is awesome! Staff : Nothing much to complain about, I don't remember anything significant about the service here which might not really be a bad thing. The only thing is that it said that the place closes at 12, I got there once at 11:50 hoping that they will still let me grab two donuts and run out the door but they did not. They omit some of their most viral and desired coffee drinks (aka The Charli!!) from the menu on those platforms and offer no ability to write in custom orders. Please change that! It is also extremely difficult to modify or customize some drinks on the platform. I hate to ding this place for that but ordering has become big during this pandemic and busy work-from-home meeting schedules can make delivery Dunkin the only Dunkin'! I had to try the Iced Shamrock Macchiato and it did not disappoint. It's creamy, but doesn't overpower the coffee flavor and the Irish cream is a nice touch. I don't like my coffee too sweet, so I just order with a pump of Splenda. I ordered a dozen assorted sprinkled doughnuts for my kids and they were way too sweet. Even my children who have the biggest sweet tooth couldn't finish one. So while we won't be going back for the doughnuts, I'm definitely going back for their iced coffees. One employee was standing by the counter and flirting with a customer and another stood behind the counter and kept scrolling on her phone. Really wanted to like this place and I have tried it over and over and over again but it's just not good. The food is fine, although most of the time my hash browns are cold. I don't mind putting them in the microwave when I get home. But it is a struggle getting food from here. We order on the app and the process is easy, but when we go to actually get the food it's a toss up of what we'll actually get. Sometimes we'll get the wrong food, sometimes the drinks will be missing, one time I spent 20 minutes for half of my pickup order and when they finally got to me the food option was out. You're better off going in person so you can see what they're doing instead of trusting them via the app. I wouldn't order on the app. It isn't like other places where their app can tell what's in stock and lets you know. You just find out when you get there. It just seems like a bad system. read more

My first time at a Dunkin' ever! Looks fairly new, which I luv reviewing new locations. Clerk was nice. Clean, plenty of parking, outdoor & indoor seating, great selection of donuts, and I noticed their coffee is on tap. Nice touch. I really like that the store is well lite and plenty of natural lighting as they have large glass windows. I ordered glazed, roasted coconut & a lemon donut. Wow... I can get hooked on this place! Well... I won't be getting hooked on these donuts. I got home and had my donuts with coffee & I'll just say I was less than satisfied. Boo hoo. All three donuts were exactly the same. Customer service here is a solid 10/10. The employees were very attentive, quick & nice. & shoutout to the girl who gave me 10 munchkins when I asked for 5 :) Although I wasn't able to try their pumpkin muffins, it was so worth the trip. I recommend trying their iced chai latte with pumpkin swirl, it's more on the sweet side but was def a great pick-me-up. The iced pumpkin spice latte was also really good! & the donuts were very soft & flavorful. Welcome to Sunnyvale, Dunkin'! I had a fantastic experience on my first visit today and I am already excited to go back for more. Everyone was so friendly and the beautifully-stocked donut display case definitely convinced me to pick some up. The croissant bacon egg and cheese was delicious and my munchkins were the softest, freshest munchkins I've ever had. I'm so glad to have my favorite coffee so close to home. I used to go to Dunkin donuts quite often when I lived in other states, and the same quality of food and coffee here. The workers are still learning how to do things here and things can get very slow here. It took 8 minutes for them to make one bagel with cream cheese when there was no other food order before me. They seemed to be very confused about the order of one plain bagel with cream cheese. There was a very long wait before the 8 minutes wait because they were working on a customer's overcharged order and the manager didn't come help immediately. I thought of leaving a few times since it was taking too long. All other Dunkin experiences in other states in the past were FAST food experiences, I was a bit annoyed for having to wait the total of 15 minutes just for one bagel, one donut, and coffee. Hopefully they get the kinks out soon. read more
