First time there. I stood in a line waiting, one woman had to go back and remind the cashier that she had forgotten her specialty donut. I am then at the register, and the customer next to me is asking his cashier, "Who is the manager here." No one really verbally answers him but the all point to the lady who then comes to the register to apparently refund his money. I should have stopped and left at that moment. Instead, I place an order with some name Shaee. I order 2 Boston Crème, 2 old fashion glazed (had to confirm them by pointing them out as they go by a different name there), and 2 apple fritters, plus 1 simply orange drink. I should have looked in the two bags. I should have read the receipt. She either does not know English, or does not know her product, or does not know how to pay attention. I got home to find 2 apple fritters (YAY!), 1 chocolate glaze and 2 plain donuts. I grabbed the Simply Orange myself. Does what I received match what I said? At least she also rang me up for the crazy order she gave me. Even though she rang it up as I was giving the order! I wont go to them again! And, I suspect I am not alone by watching the folks around me. That girl should be fired as should the manager who was tolerating all these mistakes!

No one noticed me when I walked in, so I waited at the cash register for a few minutes before I finally said something so someone could take my order. I got an iced chai tea latte with the croissant breakfast sandwich. The latte was good. I was definitely disappointed with the breakfast sandwich. It looked deflated and sad when I took it out of the bag. Dunkin is good for drinks, not so much with food.

Quick coffee fix. It has Covid-19 plastic barriers. No seating nowadays. Lines are long and trash is an overflow. 3

My boyfriend and I decided to check out Happy Place after seeing it all over TikTok. While the…read morecafe itself is small and cute, the experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The Service: When we walked in, we stood at the host stand for a while without being acknowledged. Eventually, we just walked up to the cashier. Since it was our first time, we were clearly a bit lost, but there was no "hello" or "welcome" the cashier just handed us menus and told us to order at the counter. The lack of communication made the atmosphere feel a bit unwelcoming. The Price & Value: The bad part of the experience was the checkout process. The lowest tip option on the screen was 25%, with the highest being 32%. For a place where you order at the counter and receive minimal service, that felt very steep. I ordered the Barrio Breakfast and an horchata, though I was confused as to why I was charged for a more expensive "iced horchata latte" instead. My boyfriend got a bacon, egg, and cheese on white bread and a bottled Coke. Our total came out to nearly $60. The Food: To be fair, the food was actually very tasty and we had no complaints about the quality. However, in this economy, it's hard to justify the price for what is essentially a meal you could make at home for a fraction of the cost. Overall: It's worth trying once if you're curious, but because of the high prices and the awkward service, I don't think we'll be regulars. I only took a photo of my horchata since I forgot to take a photo of the meal.

It's not what I expected - it was heavier than fries and not the taste I go for. I'm not a house potato person. I enjoyed the fruit cup very much. The WiFi was great. The jazz music was the perfect choice for the coffee shop and it made my day. Go, enjoy

Step inside and you'll see it's quite Gram-able (or is it "Insta-tastic"). In other words, it's gorgeously decorated. They have a wide array of sweet treats, almost all of them oversized. My kids have enjoyed their "dirt" sundaes and their ice cream heaped upon belgian waffles. Other non-ice cream treats include tiramisu and cakes imported from Italy, mochi balls, coffee drinks, smoothies, and yes Harry Potter geeks - even some Butterbeer. The service is always OK. They are patient as you cut through the giant menu, and they always make things delicious! But they aren't exactly outgoing either. I highly recommend Miki. It tastes great, and there's something for everyone.

They have several tables with chairs and would be good for groups or casual hang-outs. Their menu is quite diverse with a lot of options for fruit teas, milk teas, classic teas and ice cream flavors. For this particular visit, I tried a pineapple green tea. It wasn't the best, but it wasn't terrible either. It was refreshing enough. They might be worth a try for others. I wouldn't mind going back to try other items on their menu.

This review will be strictly about The Sweet Bakehouse. For the record-the only reason we went here is because the ice cream place next door Kiki's no one was there and we sat down and waited a bit...... but that's another review. I will review Kiki's separately. Beautiful display and everything looked very good. They use rice flour so the texture is a bit grainy. The double chocolate cheese cake was very dense and more like a brownie. The pistachio cheesecake.... The flavors didnt appear until I was more than half way through and then it was very sweet. The chocolate chip cookie was dry. Overall..... go next door but being your patience and get ice cream from Kiki's.
