So bad. Was recently at the Yuba City location, and what a bad experience. Most have been bad since going here occasionally. Went through the drive through and decided to order with the mobile app while waiting in line. Get to the window and they hand me my order. I asked for a receipt. They absolutely hate when you ask for one- from my previous experiences. I always take their surveys. The girl says she can't give me a receipt and I said why. She said they threw it away. I said can you make another one and she says no. I said who can? She says no receipt available. I asked for a manager and manager (if it even was one) says their machines are down. I said no way!!! Owner (Chris) comes to window and says your going to hold my drive thru up over a receipt? I said I'm just trying to get a receipt. He says pull up and I'll bring it out to you. Love me some Dunkin'! I was so happy to find out that my moms city was finally getting one. Exceptional beverages and I super great staff. Well, with the exception of the male manager. He's rather rude and rushed. I felt as if I was an inconvenience to him my entire visit and for some reason he felt it was acceptable to be rude to his staff in front of customers. I couldn't wait till we had a donut shop like this in town. However, this one has mistakes. The donuts are always like yesterdays donuts at today's prices. Also, once I ordered a dozen chosen donuts only to get home to not even close to the order. I called, manager apologized saying his team was new and still learning. He was gracious and sent me coupons for two dozen. I ordered one box and it was mostly good. All cake ones were dry and crumbly, but we ate them anyway. Today was a hard morning so we took the second coupon up to told them to please put two jelly donuts and mix the rest. We added 4 and 2 milks. I got to the window and was greeted with a young lady and a total that included the coupon. I started to correct her but she cut me off and walked away. She came back with the 4 and 2 milk. I told her yes, tried to hand her the coupon and my card, she handed the coupon back and argued with me because I didn't mention the dozen. I yelled in her tone back asking for the manager. She came to the window handing me the dozen, and guess what her excuse was for her teammates behavior. Her team was new and still learning. Two stars is pushing it but the manager is nice. Bought two donuts : blueberry and lemon filled. Couldn't eat either. Most obvious artificially flavored food I've ever eaten. Lemon filling was acrid -- like it was made with kerosene. Similarly the blueberry flavor was not from any actual berries. Threw them both away. Also, there was no place to sit. Gave this place a second chance since the first time was terrible. 1st visit donuts were too dense, dry and tasted old and stale. Thought maybe it was just a bad day and bad timing and I got donuts that perhaps had sat out too long. Ok so after getting off a loooong night shift I figured why not surprise the kids with some donuts. (This location just opened maybe a week ago) The drive thru line was long but not overly so, and the wait time was not bad. I ordered a dozen donuts off of the classic menu, 4 glazed, 2 chocolate glazed, 2, blueberry, 2 raspberry filled, and 1 strawberry and 1 chocolate sprinkle. I get my donuts and take them home. I put them in the kitchen for the kids and go to sleep. Please tell me why when I wake up and finally look in the box the ONLY correct donuts are the blueberry donuts. I was so mad, I dont know what variety of donuts they put in the box but 10 were incorrect. I was gonna call the location but guess what, no phone number on the receipt. Only a website, and yes I did write them a email. Now I know I should have checked the box when they handed it to me but who doesn't at LEAST get the glazed donuts right? Needless to say my kids didnt eat any and i ended up throwing the box away after my husband ate the blueberry. I will not be going back to this location mainly because if they cant at least get some glazed right, I prefer not to waste my time letting them get something else wrong. Went in for the $3 pumpkin spice special. Not thinking about the size the cashier asked if we wanted a small. We said yes. Payed and left. Realized we just paid $1.59 more because it was a small and not a medium we went back in to see if they would adjust the price or something. Manager said NO, because that's what we ordered. I can understand that. What I don't understand is why they wouldn't have offered the medium knowing that's what's on Special from the beginning. Or why they would be so happy to charge more money for a lesser amount and not want to try and make that right. Poor customer service. Took my daughter to get a donut this morning...first time here at a DD ever. She got a donut with chocolate top and sprinkles. I asked if they had old fashioned donuts with chocolate on top and the lady through the speaker said no, but she said they had a donut that was the same exact thing just assuming it was a different shape so I agreed to get it. We also ordered a sausage egg and cheese croissant, which they were out of so I ended up ordering it on an English muffin, a side of hash browns, an iced vanilla latte and a frozen strawberry lemonade. Wait time was reasonable. Price was fair. Pulled up to the window and the lady asked me what my order was....then told me she forgot which donuts I ordered, so I explained which ones they were. Got our bags and drinks and left. There were no napkins in either bag, and my donut was a chocolate donut with a clear glaze, and it tasted like play doh not was anything like an old fashioned. Drinks were passable. Hash browns would've been good if they were fresh...they were soggy. Sandwich was okay, nothing special. Will just stick to blue pantry or krinkle if the donut craving ever hits again. read more

Went to Dunkin Donuts on Wed. April 11, about 10 AM, This is a new Dunkin Donuts and wanted to check it out. These my observations; Small parking lot, had to park in front of 2Bits Cafe (exactly where I should have gone) The eating area is smallish and the tables are about 4inches apart so if you want to have coffee and donut with some one you do NOT know this is fine. As crowded as it was, with sitting at a premium, two of the best seats in the house were taken with employees. One of the employees had a cold, coughing and hacking the whole time, we were too close. The donuts are in glass cases behind the check out clerk, not the easiest to see the different kinds. When you get your donuts, you then have to wait for your coffee to be poured and made readied. As I waited for our coffee there were 4 Women standing around talking and visiting, not really accomplishing anything. In my opinion the coffee tasted like scalding water and the donuts were just average, I expected as a coffee and donut place that the donuts may have been warm and the coffee to taste at least as good as Mc Donalds, no such luck My overall impressions are: noisy, small, cramped, not at all as good as I had hoped. The employees were not efficient in the least, with as many as they had no one should have to wait for any thing, not the case, they stand around talking, or in our case sitting, taking valued seating for the customers. Bottom line for us, could NOT wait to get out, and I am afraid we won't go back. PS When you get your donut they put the donut in their paper bag, no napkin, no paper wrap for the donut, no nothing, so our two donuts were just plopped into a bag. Note to Dunkin Donut this is an easy fix and this problem is small but makes an impression. read more

We experienced bad service in the Yuba City store while dining inside. Normally the employees are very friendly and on the ball. This time not so much! The lady took our order incorrectly because she was distracted by someone in the back talking to her. She did not bother to repeat our order back or give us a receipt so we had no way of knowing that when our order came my daughter would not have a breakfast sandwich. No apology, in fact they were not very nice to us at all. I had placed a dollar in the tip jar after the order was taken and later I regretted it. They didn't deserve it. I won't go there again because of the way they treated us. There is a Dutch Bros. being built down the street. It's got about another 3 weeks until it's completed. I will hold on to my $$$ until it opens and gladly spend it there from now on. Everyone makes mistakes but it matters how you treat people. Also, maybe wearing headsets and trying to take drive-thru orders AND in-house orders and converse with the cooks in the back is too much to expect from your employees. First They didn't have my fav donut which is the French crullers. Which is fine because it was 5:35 PM and I understand stuff runs out 2nd I asked for a dozen not six. And I'm almost sure she charged me for 12, Third what kind of packaging is this? Just look at the picture, it looks like they picked up the donuts from the trash and stuffed them in the box, legit stuffed, the frosting is all nasty and crusty, Fourth aren't they supposed to give them to u warm?
