Last year me and my fiance spent two weeks touring around southern Ireland and this was the first…read morecampsite we stayed at. It did set a precedent as the staff were great, the ground good for pitching tents and the facilities clean. They have free hot showers and a kitchen/laundry area. It's a 5 minute drive into Kilkenny town centre or lots of people were walking along the river (which took around half an hour). There is bike hire on site but we didn't use this facility. Overall, a great stop for a touring holiday and there are lots of things to do in Kilkenny. It's a lovely town.

The owner was very nice and helpful and the views were great from the site. There is a play ground on site and the toilets and showers were very clean. There is a shop on site so you don't have to go anywere if you run short of milk. My wife loved it and always says she would like to go back so i think before the summer is over we will give it another bash so i might see you there
