Arrived when the store was opening, and found the store associates to be extremely helpful and accommodating. I had previously used a paint service and wanted to get some extra touch up paint, and fortunately the store was able to retrieve my custom paint attributes from another store location (originally purchased the paint in Laguna Hills). I'm not completely certain if it's the best value, because at just over $20 a quart, it can add up really quick. Overall, I was in and out of the store with my brand new quart of paint in 10 minutes, so definitely happy with the quick turnaround time and the paint matches my wall perfectly! read more

Lately I've been coming here pretty often since we purchased a new home and are painting the whole place. Each time I come in I order what I need and within 15 minutes I'm out the door. I never come in with too many questions since I'm working with a contractor but the guys that work at the store are all very nice and helpful. They have always helped carry the paint to the car too. When placing your order you will be asked if working with a contractor. If you are make sure to provide them with their phone number so you get your paint at their price. If ordering samples keep in mind they will all come in a low sheen and that cannot be changed so you can't get a flat or higher gloss if wanted. There are two sizes of samples and if ordering the smaller size make sure to mention the Yelp coupon for a free sample. The down side of the location is the hours. They open early morning but close at 5pm. This is hard for people who work those full time day shifts to make it in. I've made it work but if they had later hours of staying open it would make It would be a lot easier to come in. read more

I recently took on an out of state project. Between painter in Havasu and Dunn Edwards staff in Orange , job was competed successfully. The minute I walked in I was greeted by the staff. Directed to professional color advisor Dante Franceschi. Although I did not have an appointment Dante helped me out without hesitation. As I changed my minded regards colors during the two weeks of the project. Dante was still patient and assisted in the new color selection. Lisa (mgr) was also great in explaining colors going from light to dark to achieve the look I was going for. All the staff here are great. I only wish I could mention them all by name. read more

This place has the best best best best service . I bought paint here than ran into some issues with the HOA and they kept working with me on choosing colors and giving me samples till the association approved the colors and they are even fixing the paint color for me for free ( I'm not talking a shade different but a complete different color) they even gave me a great discount when one of my workers dropped the paint buckets by mistake on the street. Went to the Orange store and Michael Rios helped me with samples and ideas for the greens I needed for interior kitchen and outside green color. He was very helpful and accomodating to my indecisions and changes made for my samples. Very kind and not pushy, I definitely will be back and hope that my painter goes to this store to purchase the paint once we choose colors. I had a team helping me! Donald and Lucy did an excellent job color matching and manager Brian was very helpful quickly resolving a concern. Dante, the color specialist has a keen eye and is quite knowledgeable on how the paint looks when dry. Emilio handled all my transactions in a polished and professional manner. No need to go anywhere else for my paint and supplies. The paint looks amazing with excellent coverage. There is truly a difference in paint quality; my painter said it went on like butter. I originally went to another paint store down the street but was not satisfied with answers I received on a few questions so I decided to go to Dunn-Edwards which was definitely the right decision! It would be nice if they stayed open a little later. Although they have a large sign I hadn't noticed the store and passed it a few times. Some nice landscaping would help the store stand out and be appealing to perspective new customers. read more

We stopped by some other locations including Costa Mesa and came to Tustin location. If you need a professional color advisor to choose your choice of colors, then I strongly recommend you to come Tustin location. You know why? Because Tustin location has Donna Capili. She is a professional color advisor and I think she is very professional and helpful. You better call to make an appointment with Donna. For my case, I spent an hour with Donna. She is sensible and makes easy for you to choose right color. You can just bring some pictures or magazines. In my case, I brought some samples from Benjamin Moor(Expensive Brand) and showed her. Donna is eye-matching the colors and her suggestions is better than Benjamin Moor. I know Benjamin Moor is good quality, but Dunn-Edwards paints are still great and 50% cheaper. I do not like to give a store 1 star review. But this is the worst store I've went to. First, I went to buy 5 small paint samples to test the color. Then they made one mistake and gave me the wrong color. I found out when I return home and had to go back to change. Then I was planning to paint some doors by ourselves. Neither my husband and I had experience painting doors. So I did some homework on youtube. All the videos say I need to use oil-based paint for door and trim. Then I went to this store. I told them I need paint for the door. They insisted that I can use water based semi-gloss for the doors. I asked them very carefully how I should do it. I was told by the staff that I only need to clean the door, light-sand and clean and paint. That's it! So I trusted their "professional" opion and happily started working on my doors. My husband and I spent one day to paint 5 doors. Then the next morning my painter came in and saw the new doors. He said" that's terribly wrong!" Because we was not told to use a oil based primer before applying water-based paint, the paint is so easily peeled off. We just wasted our time and money! Now my painter has to redo all the doors. And he even not sure the outcome will be good since he can not wash off all those paint. So we ended up spending more money on those doors. I just hate the staff in this store. If she's not professioinal, she should not tell me how to do it. I'll never trust the opions from dunn Edwards. Never! read more
