But, they don't cash US Savings Bonds. I couldn't believe it. They also charge for them to withdraw money if you want a check. It's only I think $5. Or $7 dollars. I thought a bank would offer those services without cost. They do have some really service minded tellers that are very customer oriented and customer friendly, and they do the best that they can, but the bank makes it difficult. I have been accepting of all those things. I am a loyal type person and have been sticking with them because of their tellers but I am about to leave completely. I thought they would continue to be like a small town banks, but their policies make it hard for me to remain loyal.

I set up ACH auto payments, per a lady who worked at a branch and was told; it would automatically withdraw and even if it was on a Sunday, I would not get charged a late fee. Well, low and behold late fee after late fee; just because the payment date fell on a Sunday and it was not a business day. This is a total scam and they vampire fees from people all they can. I have ACH payments on other loans with other banks and this never happens; it's deemed paid on that date. I spoke to a lady name Dulce on 5/15/23 with Veridian and she could care less. She even hung up on me as the Call was coming to an end. I repeat do not use this bank Veridian Credit Union.

This place use to feel like family. They have gotten way to big too fast! I use to be able to call in and get things immediately taken care. Recently they started adding overdraft fees on pending transactions before they even hit the account so you can have money in your account and still have over draft fees even if you have a check waiting to clear for deposit. There use to be no delay in deposited funds but now they have some outside company helping with deposits on the app so you never know when things will be deposited. UGH!

I go to the credit union normally once a week to make two deposits. Now they don't want you to do multiple transactions so the line doesn't back up and I get that, so I started making one deposit then driving around to make the other one. Now I'm being told that at this branch they will only allow 1 drivethrough transaction a day. Even if there is no one else in line! That's crazy. Sometimes a business needs to go to their bank more often and you shouldn't have to go inside for a quick deposit. The rest of the branches are all friendly and excellent at their jobs and get 5 stars. It's just this one branch that sucks.
