This shop could not fix my PRIUS. If you have a nice car do not bring it. The worker told me to go to hell after it was their fault for not fixing my car properly for the third time. They did a horrible paint job where I had to leave it for an additional day and it still was not fixed correctly. A few weeks later I discovered they did not correctly seal my bumper after the impact so water leaked right into where my hybrid battery and auxiliary battery is. They do not give attention to detail if you have a nice car do not bring it here because they could not even fix my Toyota. DO NOT GO HERE THE OFFICE LADY WILL RUDELY YELL AT YOU TOO! read more

This was my second time patronizing this business. The first time was about 5/6 years ago; great work and service. My second experience was terrible, & I regret going to back to Durans. The manager Sara is rude, condescending and unprofessional; atleast in my opinion! She doesn't like to answer questions about the work being done, give explanations nor does she know how to speak to people in a respectful manor. Hopefully her attitude & bad energy doesn't drive away business for a company that has been up & running long before she got there. They did a nice job on the car HOWEVER their customer service and communication with customers is very fair. We had to call so many times to get an answer out of them. They said they'd 'give a call in a few mins' and we'd have to call them the next day to follow up. I swear, if we never called, they'd just keep our car forever. They give you the run around on when your car will be ready. They told us 4 separate dates that our car would be ready and said they had sent us an email asking us permission to paint. We never received an email and had spoke with them on the phone many times. The body work was good but we won't be returning due to lack of good customer service. UPDATE- they put the wrong hood on our car... we have a Jeep Grand Cherokee and they put the wrong make/model hood on our car. We aren't 'car people' so it definitely took us a while to notice/ we were so happy to have our car back. However, we knew it looked different and now know it's the wrong top. read more

Not happy with them. I was told on multiple occasions that my car would ready. It's going on 2 months and still not ready. I only used them because of my insurance recommended them. If a cash job comes in you go to the back of the line. You can't do anything but wait . I was told each time someone would call me before each of the target dates. I never received one call. I knew in my heart to review this shop only until after I received complete service and to keep the nightmare I experienced with the insurance company and the shop completely separated. I had JUST bought my car in March. On June 17th of this year, someone who I allowed drive my car was involved in a collision. A pretty bad one but thankfully no one was hurt and so I proceeded with filing an insurance claim. I'll leave the gruesome details of what I dealt with out of this review but pretty much after a war with the insurance company, the finally ok'd the $10,000+ repair on Aug 22nd and the shop started working on it. Everyone was helpful and informative on the parts. They kept me updated with the insurance as well as they were aware of the struggle I went through getting the claim approved in the first place since I had to bring the shop, the dept of insurance and the finance company into this. When it was finally my glorious moment to pick up my car on Oct 5th, I paid over $1700 (which technically I did not have but I was desperate to end my 4+ commute round trip from work on public transportation) only for the person at the counter to ask for another document needed in order to release the vehicle AFTER I paid... As you would imagine, that certainly got under my skin and it didn't take much pondering as to why they would collect my money first but that's just what happened. I acted quickly in contacting the insurance company and sent over the last piece of paper to pick up my car on Monday. The check engine light was on and when I asked the gentleman why would that be, he stood quiet for a moment and so we just left it at returning it if there's any issues. Well, the car didn't start a few days later which was on a Saturday so I left it abandoned at a mall and missed work on Monday to get it towed to the shop. What do you know? It started up with zero issues (still check engine light on) but I decided to take it back to them anyway. They kindly received the car and 3 days later, I picked it up and it was running again flawlessly. It's now November and although I've only had the car back for two weeks, I'm truly grateful that I even have it back after what I went through. Although some moments were sketchy, I still overlook at the experience as a whole and will give them a solid 4 stars. read more

The driver's side of my car was recently hit, breaking my window, scratching/denting my car door, and scratching other parts of the car. This being my first accident, I was very hesitant as to where I took my car. However, I had heard great things about Duran's Body Shop and took my car the next day after my accident. Throughout the process of dealing with insurance the staff was very helpful in regards to answering all of my questions and concerns, which made the process easier. I was able to pick up my car in a timely manner and was very happy with the work! I had a new door installed and a fresh paint job done to the side that was damaged. I am a very detailed oriented person and I was very happy to see that they work diligently and pay close attention to detail (perfect paint match, and neatly done). Overall, my experience at Duran's was phenomenal thanks to the helpful staff (Sara, Joe, & Ignacio), the quality of the work, and the attention to detail. I was looking for a place to repaint my 1967 Mustang and found Durans. I walked in the back and saw multiple classic cars along with the owners personal 1969 Mustang Fastback. They gave me a fair price and did impeccable work. They also did some minor interior and mechanical repairs. I found the staff to be very personable and flexible to what I wanted. Had someone tag my Scion, and thought for sure I'd have to get the whole thing repainted. Not so. I believe it was Cesar (?) who helped me out real quick on a Saturday by removing the paint from the windows so I could drive, and then, took care of everything else the following Monday. I'm not a body guy, so I'll get this part wrong, but they sanded vs. repainting, saved me a ton of money, and it looks just like new! I was concerend that sanding would leave some red, but not the case - it really does look great, and they were fantastic. Highly recommended! read more

I was skeptical about taking my car here because they were recommended by the insurance company of the man who hit my SUV; however, I was pleasantly surprised. They were extremely professional and did excellent work. I dropped my car off on Tuesday morning and it was ready by Saturday. Looking at my vehicle, you'd never know that someone smashed my left fender and door. My biggest concern was whether or not the paint would match and it's wonderfully done. They also washed and cleaned the inside. I highly recommend this body shop. Hopefully, we never have to meet again; but, they'd be my first stop if need be. read more

I was recent;y in a car accident and I brought my car here once again to have it fixed. They do a OK job but my car isn't the same which I'm very disappointed about. Horrible experience! They took almost a month to change and paint a fender. And replace gas lines. Not to mention I have a check engine light on because they won't fix it for free even though they gave me warranty for a month. They said they would call me back never happened. Has done a great job with body repairs on two of our cars (Subarus), and I'm trusting them with a third much more significant body issue due to a moderate speed fender bender on my Toyota Camry. Got rear ended downtown on the way home from work. Took our Audi Q5 to Duran's for a repair estimate where they performed a thorough assessment of the vehicle. Brought the car in on a Monday got it back on a Wednesday. Staff was great - friendly and helpful. The bumper repair and paint job was pristine. Car was washed and detailed on the inside when we picked it up. Overall seamless experience with high quality results. Would definitely bring my business back to Duran's! read more

This place will take forever fixing your car trust me

A bad initial experience turned into a nightmare. I took my car in less than a year ago to get suspension work done on it. A one day job turned into 4. Whatever. The other day I heard the same noise I was hearing before I took it to Duran's to get it fixed so I asked the body shop I was getting my oil changed at to take a look. They told that what the problem was, and it was the SAME problem I paid nearly Duran's nearly $1,000 to fix less than a year ago! I called Duran's and they said tough luck and hid behind a 90 day warranty that is on the small print of their invoice. They are a bunch of crooks who put shady parts in to fix your car, do a shady job, and then refuse to be held accountable for their b.s. Only a complete FOOL would take their car here to be worked on. read more
