I went to have my China visa photo taken at this shop. The girl who was taking the picture was not…read moreready and had to locate her camera. She took the first shot and found out the memory card was faulty. She replaced the memory card and took the second shot. The picture quality was so bad that I had to go to walmart to take another set of photos. They advertised for $9.99 but ended up asking for $22.00. She explained to me passport photo is $9.99 but visa photo is $17.00 and digital copy is $5.00. I do not like to give negative review but this one is justified.

I do not recommend this firm…read more If you do choose them, read the contract very, very carefully. Once that contract is signed, if anything unexpected comes along, it's considered an extra and will cost you money. My entire experience with Rescue Data was just one extra fee after another. In addition to that, they are not very good. They do not do the work in house. They send the hard drive to China, and a Chinese firm does the recovery. Rescue Data are just middlemen. When the work was completed, they sent me a screen shot of the "recovered" data folders. It looked good, all my subfolders were there. But it was only a screen shot, so I couldn't open the folders to inspect the files. It was only after I paid and was able to actually open the files that I noticed about 1/3 of the folders were empty! They didn't actually recover the contents, just the folder names, and made sure I couldn't detect that until after I had paid $1000 in fees. For what it's worth, the customer service was fine. Staff were polite and easy to get a hold of, but it just doesn't compensate for paying for something I didn't get.
