A few days ago I ordered the new kool blue blended lemonade and I had two other drinks with it. The lemonade was half filled and looked like it had been sitting and melted. I asked if they could remake it and was told that it came that way (it doesn't). I'm honestly really disappointed with my RECENT experience at the Charleston Dutch Bros location. I usually enjoy coming here, but this recent visit during their promotional event left a bad impression on me. On the Dutch Bros app, it clearly mentions that during their promotional events (like when they give out stickers, pins, etc.), there is a max limit of 5 per customer, and customers can receive them based on how many qualifying drinks they order. Because of that, I specifically went that day and placed an order for three drinks since I wanted three packs of the pins they were giving out. I wasn't trying to go over the limit -- I stayed within what the app clearly states. However, when I received my order, the employee only gave me one pack of pins. I politely asked about the other two since I had ordered three drinks. The girl helping me apologized and said they could only give one per customer. That completely contradicts what is advertised in the app. If the limit is five per customer, and I ordered three drinks, there shouldn't have been an issue giving me three packs. It's frustrating because I spent extra money specifically to participate in the event and collect the pins. If the location has its own rule of "one per customer," that needs to be clearly stated ahead of time. Otherwise, it feels misleading. Customers shouldn't have to guess whether the app rules actually apply at that store. I understand that employees are just following what they're told, so this isn't necessarily about the worker personally. But the communication between corporate promotions and this specific location is clearly off. If supplies were limited, that should have been explained upfront -- especially before I placed and paid for multiple drinks. Overall, this experience felt unfair and poorly handled. I hope Charleston Dutch Bros can be more transparent during future promotional events so customers aren't left feeling misled after spending extra money expecting what was advertised. read more

Wanted to switch up my normal coffee routine, and try something different. I needed a spot that would accommodate my early work schedule and Dutch Bros. Opened at 5!! Perfect I checked out the online menu and seen things I liked, then downloaded the app. I loved that since I was a first timer I was offered a free medium drink. I got the equivalent to a Carmel iced coffee and added salted caramel for extra flavoring along with an additional shot! I have driven my a number of Dutch Bros coffee stands and always see a long line. I decided to try their coffee or some other drink of theirs. I was in the area of this one today, so I stopped in to give it a try. I had a free medium drink coming for downloading their app. The app makes it convenient to order ahead of time. You have two choices--pick the drive thru for pick up or select the walk up window. There is reserved parking spots if you choose the walk up window. Even though it was very cold this morning and raining, I chose to order as marshmallow Dear Blended Freeze with creamy marshmallow cereal flavored espresso with soft top and marshmallow charms. I parked at one of the reserved window pick up spots. I went to the window and gave her my name. In a short time, I had my freeze. Maybe not the best thing to order on this day, but it was so tasty. The marshmallow in the espresso gave a good contrast of flavors. I still had a bit left when I got home. I finished the marshmallow soft top charms. They had a bit of crunch to them which made it even better. I'll get a drink like this but it will be in the warm summer. Service was excellent. The woman at the window was very pleasant. I was pleased with this stop and it gives me an alternative to my normal coffee place. read more

It's always great to see a new Dutch Bros open a new location and especially one that's close to the workplace. This location has just recently opened and still has not been too busy, although there are some drive thru lines in the peak morning hours. The best part about Dutch Bros is that their staff are always so jovial and friendly. They have a large menu that cannot really be captured on their drive thru menu board, so I suggest checking online in advance to see their menu. They have a ton of sugar free flavors which is very nice compared to Starbucks which is down to one sugar free choice as of now I think. I went for the large iced latte with sugar free white chocolate. The coffee is extremely smooth and not bitter. My only consistent complaint about Dutch Bros is that their flavors sound great, but when you drink them the flavor is very mild or even undetectable. When I get sugar free white chocolate at Madhouse, for example, it has a strong white chocolate flavor. At Dutch Bros, however, the flavor is very mild. Maybe I should ask for extra syrup or something. Overall, though, Dutch Bros is a good choice for coffee with friendly staff! read more
