I am so disappointed in MYSELF...for not reviewing my favorite DB EVER!! The girls and guys here are awesome! Consistently making my annoyingly personalized drink correctly, the FIRST time. They're always happy to see me and chat. Every one of those morning shift "BROistas" know my life story! LOL...and enjoy hearing about my recent moving experience, which briefly took me away from the yumminess...(Seattle), wedding planning, and always excited to look at and admire my engagement ring (yup, even one of the guys!). They know how to take good care of a loyal customer too. If I ever complain (very rare) about a "not perfect" drink from the previous day, they hook me up...it's this "little" thing called GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Other business's should look at the DB company in whole as a good example of such, but especially THIS particular franchise in Tualatin!! I've probably met the owner before, not realizing he/she was the owner...but, he/she is doing a fantastic job with that crew. (All. Not just the AM). I started coding this Dutch brothers location about 6 months ago. Wirth two drive through I never had to wait long. The staff is usually talkative and friendly but two weeks ago I was approached in my car while I was in line by the surliest person I've ever encountered at any Dutch Brothers(or other coffee shop for that matter). This person acted downright angry about being there. She took my order and when I got to the window I mentioned how unhappy this person seemed. The person in the window said something to the effect of, oh I think Athens is just having a bad day. It turns out she got my very simple order (a Carmel latte)completely wrong.I waited at the window for a corrected order and when I got my coffee, I informed the girl in the window that I wouldn't be back. No apologies, no "can we make it up to you, just a blank stare. I haven't been back since and don't plan to. read more

This is probably my 4th worst experience in this Dutch bros coffee shop! Various times at different times of the day I keep getting the worst experience it seems like the more chances I give them the more likely my next experience will get worst! Today at 5:22 am I pulled up only one car ahead of me was there when I got there as I parked for my next turn I waited 8 minutes for them to get me next because the girl I believe her name is (Avery) piercing on her nose kept talking to that guy for all the time I was behind them! I thought he was waiting for his coffee but to my surprise he's already gotten his coffee and they were just chatting! I get it is part of their way of making also tips and being friendly but I don't have their time other people have jobs to go to places to be! As I pull up 8 minutes later barista notices I'm frustrated and gets nervous trying to explain why the long wait.. she forgets my stamps and forgets the order I had given her! I know this probably won't matter to many of our locals here in the area but I know sometimes even if we aren't in a hurry we always have places to be , please be considerate and acknowledge not everyone is on your clock and if you want to chat away my time and forget my order and stamps this job certainly isn't for you! I have given this location a chance once and again but this encounter is what tipped the scale. I frequent dutch bros because I enjoy their coffee and most of the time the customer service is excellent. This location however continues to provide me with subpar service, girls with attitude and unapologetic demeanor. Today we waited in line for more then 15 minutes, there was no apology and when my boyfriend made a comment about the wait we were given a fake apology and when given back our stamp card she had taken the one we have her and replaced it with a new one. WTF immature action is this. Management really needs to take a hard look at their customer service and not allow it to falter even when busy. read more

I'm a regular at Peet's Coffee and am a bit of a coffee snob, so one would expect a low rating for the Dutch Bros brand. But a low rating will not be given. I enjoy Dutch Bros. The coffee is as good as Starbucks, but the staff is what makes the Dutch experience worthwhile. To have a young, energetic, happy, (usually female), barista greet you with enthusiasm is so refreshing in this day and age. Your drink is prepared quickly, which is good in a drive-thru. My expectation is not for a masterfully crafted mocha with a detailed leaf-shaped foam topping; no, it is for a quick drink and a smiling face. And they deliver. I'm from Texas and had never heard of Dutch Bros until I got to OR; every Dutch Bros I've been to (only 2) has been more than amazing on all aspects. I recommend getting their app or searching up some cool concoctions before you get there, but if you don't, feel free to ask what's available or what the worker fave is, or ask to be surprised! You won't be disappointed! The staff is comprised mostly of women, though there is diversity, and these ladies I've talked too are absolutely perfect! They never fail to show the utmost customer service and are great at making idle conversation or explaining your order to pass the time! Make no mistake it won't take too long but you'll almost wish it would take forever :) If you're a Starbucks fan, look no longer for a large cup a joe customized to your delight for the best price! Sat in line for 20 min yesterday before one of the girls came out to start taking orders from the line of cars. I noticed she missed the car in front of me. Once this car got up to the window I saw a young lady reach for her drink immediately and handed the person in the window her card that was obviously full of stamps for her free drink. It didn't stop there, they talked like they were personal friends, the person gave her fully punched card back to the young lady in the car, and then handed her another card with half of it punched. Kind of dishonest if you ask me. Once I got up to the window the person said thanks for waiting. I explained I didn't have a choice since there was such a long line behind me. Mind you I was the third car in line when I pulled in. I gave her my card to stamp, which had one open spot left to stamp. The person then said I gave you a couple extra stamps for the delay. I asked her how she could give me extra stamps if there was only 1 open spot to begin with, and she just went hummmm. I said that they can't be giving drinks away all day to friends. I have always wanted to be a secret shopper. It is quiet appalling at some of the employee's conversations amongst themselves while waiting on customers, that are totally inappropriate. read more

She apologized for working on something, she did excuse herself and say she needed to ask the manager a question. I love this coffee, but seriously doubt a return to this location. I used to frequent this Dutch quite often and I can say after last night that I will never go there again. They "changed" their policy of making guests rebels blended from the can to the disgusting syrup. The girl didn't even tell me that they don't make them that way and still charged me $7 when I didn't get what I wanted to drink. Usually I'd be fine with it, but the fact that they say it's in the Dutch manifesto pisses me off because I worked for Dutch for over 2 years and I know the manifesto. Also annoying when you go to other locations and they have no issues making it the way you've asked for. Waste of $7 and a waste of my time. Credit where credit is due--Jen inspired me to write this. Ironically, I had considered reviewing this place earlier this very day, but had decided, what's the point? However, in spite of the fact that I don't know what a West Linn lady is doing in T-town (I keed, I keed), I'll throw in my $0.02. When I lived in Tualatin for a while, this was my default place for getting caffeinated beverages. I'd stop here for coffees when I was trying to woo the now, Ms. K. It is your typical Dutch Bros. Which is to say, good coffee, above average baristas/baristos (wait, have I *ever* seen a barist*o* at Dutch Bros? No.). Why does every DB have cute, little, border-line-illegal-cute baristas?
