They only really want the newest of releases it seems and mostly, even then, they offer you back a mere pittance in return, making you feel like an early 19th century British beggar wandering the store for alms when you're trying to peddle your wares. "Alms, sir?...Alms?...Alms for the cd, kind sir?...Alms for the dvd to feed a kind, gentle and yet meager young lad, sir?...Alms?" This is a great store to waste some time in, but it is not the store in which to get your bankroll back on Seasons 1-5 of "Desperate Housewives" dvd collection that you bought at Sam's Club back in February... Cheap used vinyl, which is good--I own the entire Steely Dan catalog because of this store (with the exception of "Can't Buy A Thrill", every copy of which I find looks like it's been underwater since 1976), for which I am forever grateful. The problem of course is that they were very overpriced when it came to used CDs--who is going to spend eight dollars on a used Folk Implosion album? Someone, perhaps, but not me. Not that it matters, of course: no one buys CDs anymore anyway.
