I provided Diana with the designs created by my friend, and she was able to deliver an incredible invitation suite. We started with an initial Zoom meeting to discuss my vision, and see some samples, and she overnight shipped me samples to be able to see the paper, ink colors, and feel the texture. We had a tight turnaround time of a few weeks and Diana was very flexible and transparent throughout the process, and communicated every step of the way. We cannot recommend DWRI, and especially Lois Harada, for any stationary needs one might have, but especially for weddings. Every single piece of stationery that they designed and produced for us has been absolutely perfect and gorgeous, and we've lost count of all the different compliments people have given us. (Like, how often are people still talking about the Save the Dates AT the wedding?? Because they were at ours!!) I had some ideas of a design for some personalized stationary I needed on a rush. Now, although I am a great appreciator of art, I myself lack any skill whatsoever on putting ink to paper. Even my stick figures end up looking like some abstract surrealistic unintelligible scratches (and that's if I'm being forgiving and slightly pretentious). Therefore, it is with great fortune I went to DWRI, where the pros are. I presented my wishes and ideas, Dan and Lois dutifully presented my grand (i.e. myopic) vision of what I thought I wanted, and then gently guided me to what I really wanted, all through a collaboration process that failed to bruise the ego of my stunted visual artist me. Then they hit it out of the park and got me what I needed ahead of schedule. It's an art to tease out the essential from a client when presented with the inessential and frivolous, and DWRI did just that. I recently used these guys to make program covers for my wedding. In a (wedding) industry where everything is totally overpriced and inflated, I was so extremely excited and relieved to find these guys with very reasonable prices. Moreover, the end product was well BEYOND my expectations for what I wanted!! They were able to execute my design exactly as I had hoped (and more), and the process was simple and straightforward. I was actually so happy with their work that I am now having them make my wedding menus and album covers. The staff totally rocks too. Lois was extremely helpful and responsive in communication.
