While there are currently some good people that work here (Dr. Ike, and the gentleman that makes the follow up appointments) their good is washed away by the other POOR staff and policies that perpetuate at this clinic. I have been going here for over two years and in that time, it's been nothing but one issue after another. As others have mentioned, it very much is a money grab. $37 for me ever time I need to schedule anything, follow up, get a refill, or have a procedure. I recently went in to see if I could have anything done for the ruptured disc in my back and to get a refill. The nurse practitioner I saw acted inconvenienced by my questions and was absolutely no help at all. She suggested almost every procedure they offer to for my disc pain including trigger point injections. When I asked her how the trigger point injections would help my disc issues since they are muscular based, she barked at me "How am I supposed to know? I'm not a neurologist!" Before I get any surgical procedure done, I want to insure it will be of some benefit. I don't want to be force fed procedures just for them to bill me and my insurance. I scheduled my RFAs and follow up, and refilled my prescription. When I went to pick up my medicine, my pharmacist informed me that it was on a nationwide back order and wouldn't be available for some time. She suggested I call Dynamic Pain and ask to REDUCE the strength so that I could at least get something. I called the office and when I explained the situation and asked for a medication change, they instantly got loud and cut me off saying they refuse to do a medication change and that if I wanted any pain medication, I would just have to call around to any pharmacy that I could find that had it, and then they would send my prescription there. They treated me like an addict looking for a high. I was asking for a REDUCTION in strength just to have something for my pain. It was not only rude but embarrassing for me to be humiliated in that way. When she asked if there was anything else she could do for me, I responded that she could go ahead and cancel my three appointments. I will never step foot in this horrible facility again. read more

Following a pain injection causing cauda equina, I found myself going to Dr. Boler. This location requires a visit every month. Having had my initial appointment and receiving written prescriptions for 8 weeks of medication, I went to help my parents move. My prescriptions inadvertently got packed. While out of state, I suffered a fall that was treated and documented by an ER. After 7 weeks I was out of medicine and returned to Dr. Boler never having filled the written prescriptions that were still packed. I received a round of accusations about over using my medication, when in fact, I had stretched my remaining medication until I could get back to Dr. Boler. My new prescription was not sent to the pharmacy until 3 days later, leaving me in a great deal of pain. Once having given the new prescription a try, 3 mostly sleepless nights later, I called for an adjustment appointment which took place 8 days after the second appointment. I was greeted with accusations that were such that had Dr. Boler not accused me of overusing their services, I would have either worked with or left Dr. Boler's care of my own volition depending on how I was treated. Instead, having had 2 required visits and 1 adjustment visit, I was discharged from care with Dr. Boler's unfounded accusations of overuse of not just medication but services. I have been left with such a distaste, that I forewarn anyone considering his "care" to consider or reconsider any one else first. Had Dr. Boler truly looked, he would have found that I was honest and forthcoming with regards to my condition, fall and not having filled the written prescriptions. A doctor who doesn't do his due diligence is not a doctor I will ever trust with my life or my care. I urge you to do your due diligence to keep from having this same situation befall you. From the often dirty, dingy, always over crowded waiting room to never seeing the same doctor twice....you never see a real doctor either unless it's procedure time and they don't talk to you. Every follow-up or appointment is with some nurse who asks the same questions every time they meet you. I saw a male nurse who went and asked the doctor if I should be on a medicine that's helped me for eleven years now. I guess he thought he knew better than everyone else, including me. Then, rather than giving me the allotted 28 (all they're allowed to give per month) pain pills, he lowered it to 21 without telling me. I don't use all 28 pills per month, so they keep giving me 21.....but I have to pay a $31.00 co-pay every 21 days. They're in it for the money, probably why Dr. Mccune was investigated and his wife Bridget was arrested in a Global Compound Pharmacy scam (on-going now) that the doctor claims he knew noting about. Okay. And Bridget turned snitch and ratted everyone else out. This place sucks and I'm looking for a new one now. read more

The low rating is bc I couldn't be seen for 2 months bc I didn't have ins even though I offered to self pay. As I was an established patient for over 2 years, this surprised me. My previous dr charged me the same rate that Medicare patients pay without making me feel guilty for asking for pain meds. Also he always asks me how I'm doing with 3 other debilitating diseases other than my back. read more

This is not about care it only about making money. Because I refused to allow them to give me shots in my hands they kicked me out and did not refill my prescription. Leaving me in dire straits to go through withdrawal with nothing. I have been on medication for years. So they endangered my life as well. I had previously spoke with the staff explaining why I did not want to take shots. I had taken a shot in my knees and it made the pain much worse. Some days I could not stand pain was so intense. Did not have it like that before the shots. I also have a phobia concerning needles. They do not care. If I didn't take the shot (which they can bill medicare for more money) than writing a prescription they would not treat me. So they send me out without any medication and refused to see me. (You cannot force a patient to do what is against their will). I am contacting an attorney concerning this. Their staff is rude and unprofessional. The office is dirty and has an odor. Also they heap bills upon you by making you buy braces that you do not need and refused to give receipts for when you pay. Medicare pays for braces but they bill you $700. Remember if you don't take shots for the money you are not a value to them. Look up information on previous medicare fraud. read more

It really upsets me that no one answers the phone in the Fort Walton Beach office. You have to leave a message, and they may or may not return your call. I have waited for three days for a return call. I have left two messages per day. I want to make an appointment, but I guess that return patients, or patients with a true need to speak with the office are not important. His other offices actually answer their phones. Why can't they. Two stars for inability to reach anyone. read more

No one answers the phone at this location. 5 messages later and no call back. I am in pain and need my script for neuropathy. I will be going on three days and nothing back from them. Other offices answer their phone? One of the receptionists is rude, un--interested in speaking with you at all. She needs to be fired. My pharmacist has called and called and left messages and FAX. We are both concerned. This will probably cause a trip to the ER. I was prescribed a drug my insurance would not approve and it needed to be substituted. Here I am suffering and these people had two days to call back my pharmacist! They were called during business hours two days in a row by Walgreens. I called and asked a receptionist at another location (that does answer their phone and they said it was approved and sent to Walgreens????????????) Go figure. IT IS NOT THERE. AWFUL PLACE STAY HOME AND GO TO YOUR GP. read more
